Apparently, this is author 1st book before Genius Doctor : Black Belly Miss. When I read in reversed order, I thought I am missing something at the end of Jun Wu Xie story. However, it doesnt matter which book you read first as it is a standalone book. Shen Yanxiao was only mentioned at the end of Jun Wu Xie story therefore it didn't really affect the plot of that book.
Initial stage of the story, I'm seriously not a great fan of Yanxiao. What Godly Thief..she's the biggest criminal ever exist. Ancient time Robinhood to a certain extent. Really? She stole to protect those that she cares about. Nevertheless, u simply bonded with her character at later stages.
Not sure how to describe Yanxiao character.
She was responsible in an irresponsible way.
She was smart but kind of dense at the same time.
Weak? Definitely not her.
A woman of few words.
A dual cultivator with major races blood in her body.
Due to all the above characteristics, it caused her lots of mishaps. Her journey will always start back from Ground Zero whenever the blood of other races in her body activated. She had to recultivate whatever power of different races in order to break her seals and gained the trust of other races in order to ally with their Radiance Continent to fight against Satan.
Her journey was definitely fun and utterly smooth. Add in her Xiu, her 5 friends and her adopted brother plus their mystical beast, it gets even more hilarious.
This book is full of adventure and laughter. I didn't weep until the end, ENDING (4). I don't find the ending that satisfying though unless someone is dead. I cant even fathom why must that male took both Satan and Ouyang away. Whatever it is, I gladly recommended it to anyone to read this book. Still worth every second. 🤩

totally worth reading. The author did a wonderful job in writing out this novel. Though I would love to know more about what happened to Yanxiao’s friends from the other races like the squad team, moonlight tribe & elders, the other characters like the Ancestor of the Undead (like was he taken to god clan?), the Wu Ling or Elementals (what I call for the pure elements).. .. so many twists but it was a great ride.
There are many parts which will make you cry, others you’ll just shake your head at the silliness of the characters...
But, Shen Yanxiao’s the ultimate person in shamelessness and cunningness category. Hehehe.... Should have a sequel about her shamelessness in heaven. Wouldn’t be surprised if the heavens get too crowded.... From Lord Yanxiao to becoming the ultimate Lord God.... abusing her powers for personal gain and her people just chose to ignore it. Bwahaha.... Would love to see the love partners of the Phantom group.
Would also love a sequel where the female protagonists of the author will meet once again as they were companions from their future/other world lives.

The story is good. The rhythm of the events is very slow compared to GDBBM.
The MC of this novel was an exceptional and skillful one, specially in Stealing (the godly thief wasn't some trivial nickname) and I won't compare it to Jun Wu Xie coz I believe every character has it's own charm.
My truly motive this time to read this novel is Xie, just wondering who the hell is he? I became as dumbfounded as Shen Yanxiao when he said last time he met Vermillion Bird was a thousand years ago!!

This will be my first review ever xD
I really love this book. i'm at chapter 2049, and in 4 hours chapter 2050 will be released
and for sure, i will wait and continue on reading till it ends
I do not want to spoiler anything
but i still must say that ..

The female lead is badass and sticks to her principles
the male lead.. is no way obvious at the beginning
and you may not be happy with him at first (I totally was and still am happy with him being the lead)
but he sooner or later will be fully involved in the story dont worry,
I hope you will enjoy this novel just as much as i, i've read it all within one week, i dont regret it!

Ending battle arc was not it, but overall enjoyed it and was happy to revisit the entire series after having stopped years ago :)
