I thoroughly enjoyed this short story. I liked how the author kept things quite simple so that there was the opportunity to develop the two main characters.
The book was well written, the plot flowed smoothly and the pace was good. There were a few unexpected twists to the plot and some good action! I liked how we got to see more and more about the truth of Eli and Harper as the story progressed, and boy do the pair of them have some good chemistry.
A short read (less than 2 hours) but it felt like a full story too.

Hot, steamy tale full of danger and passion.
Harperf is a thief, specializing on stealing diamonds, being the member of the Diamond Club. Her previous encounter with the Russian mob rings warning bells in her, but the Roksana diamond has a specific value to Harper and she cannot decline the job. This time, however, she does not dare to take it alone as usual, but asks her lover, Eli, for backup. While planning the operation, she does not want to see her heart is opening for the rough man. And her past is also not over, waiting for her in the darkness to strike.
For readers who like shorter stories, not much into deep and focused more on the romance and steamy scenes, this is an ideal read. Quick, entertaining, hot, with only a few characters set in a triangle. Conflicted, dramatized, calling upon trauma from the past, all set up in the dangerous scene of organized crime. I am not entirely the one to fall for a bad boy even in books, but Eli seems to have something more than that.

Clearly she has a past and while it hasn't caught up with her it's just a matter of time. She's good at what she does and careful planning has kept her safe up to now. He has it bad. Big tough guy with a 1% MC club he's the big tough guy no one crosses. Both keeping each other at length not admitting it could be more. This read was sexy and filled with action. The author doesn't give you a chance to settle in before the action starts and before you can get too settled it's done but dang it what a read. This novella wont leave you wanting (except for the fact we always want more) with the action on high and the passion off the charts it's an excellent intro to the members of this exclusive club.

Another great book in the Diamond Club series. If you like romantic suspense then you won't be disappointed.
Harper is a thief and she needs her bad boy biker boyfriend to act as her "backup" for a heist she is doing for the Russians. There is a lot of steamy scenes as well as the drama/suspense.
This was a quick read and yet, you can really see the chemistry between Eli and Harper...but what happens when you mix business and pleasure

Love this book from the Diamond Club series. Very well written and developed storyline. It's a quick hot and steamy read with wonderful characters. Eli and Harper are great together with lots of chemistry. But what happens when they mix business with pleasure? You have to read and find out! I'm really looking forward to more from this series.

Harper is hired to steal a beautiful diamond and return it to its proper owner in Russia. She asks her friend, the enforcer of the Roman MC gang, Eli, to watch her back. The intrigue of the heist is exciting and keeps one breathless. But unexpected complications heighten the tension. A quick read but oh so entertaining. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Five stars.

This is the third book in the series that I have read and I absolutely loved it. I found it very exciting and Eli is so charismatic and sexy. The story is very compelling and believable. Harper is beautiful and strong but she has a vulnerability that is very addictive and I can see why Eli cannot resist her. I am really looking forward to reading the next book.

Love doesn't care if you've built walls around your heart and are attempting to avoid attachments. Harper tries to avoid attachments after her ex burned her. But Eli manages to penetrate her walls and gain her trust. While working a heist together they are thrust closer together. Eli was sweet with a tough exterior. A great story. Will definitely read more from this author.

I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book for my honest opinions. My first book by Alyssa and certainly won't be my last, I'm thoroughly enjoying this series. The plot is suspenseful, dangerous, interesting characters and Eli and Harper are combustible together, wow the pages had steam pouring off from them. I can honestly say I recommend this book, you won't be disappointed.

Good start to what I hope is a great series. The Diamond Club isn't just your normal "everyday" top shelf bar. This one has secrets. Twining an enforcer for an MC and a elite thief together might not be the most normal type of story, but it really gets it hopping. There's a lot of potential in this couple and where the series could lead.

She is dealing with very dangerous people and needs the help of someone who can be dangerous too. It is a big chance for a big payday.
This is a great read with lots of action and romance. I really enjoyed the storyline and the characters.There are interesting twists to the story and the chemistry between Harper and Eli keeps it hot.

I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily reviewing.
An interesting story full of steamy scenes and fun heists! This one has a duo working together. A kind of Bonnie and Clive kind of deal. Really enjoyed how they played off one another and the stunts they were able to pull off. An exciting, fast paced book!

Luster by Alyssa Breck was an enjoyable read. Featuring a diamond heist, a sexy jewel thief, a hot MC Club enforcer and the Russian Mob. This is an exciting and passionate novella. A sexy, hot and fun quick read. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC copy of this book.

You couldn't ask for a better book mercy was this good and talk about hot & steamy and the drama/suspense had me flipping the pages to find out what happened on the next page. This is the first book I've read by Alyssa Breck and boy did she deliver I couldn't put the book down the whole time it may be a quick read, but it sure has the action. I definitely recommend this book for a quick and hot steamy read. How do you steal from the Russian mob? Well you get a thief and a Enforcer from a MC to do the job, but can they keep business & pleasure separate before the mob finds them. If you haven't one clicked this lil jewel of a book yet you need to.
