For years, Spencer's been crushing on his two bosses. The pride alphas are so smart and sweet - and dangerously sexy. Together they make a perfect couple, and their omega assistant would never want to interfere with that.

Except now Spencer's going into heat, and being around Lane and Harley has him turning into a puddle of jelly. The young leopard shifter knows only his mate should affect him this strongly.

Is it possible that Spencer doesn't have one mate, but two? And if Lane and Harley welcome him into their relationship, will he be able to handle the heat?

(Omega Twink is a 200-page M/M/M paranormal menage romance featuring feline shifters and mentions of male pregnancy. Standalone with no cliffhangers and guaranteed HEA!)

"I want to be a male model one day."

Well, he's a guy, so I assume the "male" part goes without saying. Maybe that's heteronormative of me.

"I had waited a long time for a session with a real photographer."

He called the guy the day before. The only thing that had held him back up to that point was, as far as I could tell, laziness and a little fear. So why this was suddenly a desperate thing, I couldn't figure out.

"My modelling career was finally taking off..."

At that point, all that he'd done was have head shots taken. Nothing had even been sent to any agencies.

"'I heard your conversation yesterday', I admitted. 'Right before I woke up. I heard.'"

Well, that's quite a trick.

"The walls were all mirrors that reflected my haggard face back at me."

Three sentences later...

"I might've been a miserable excuse for an adult, but at least I looked fabulous."

????

"The doctor called after me as I left, but I didn't hear it."

Bad writing aside, the craft here is awful, too. I'm supposed to believe that two (literal) alpha males would let their omega mate get away with all the running and dodging this self-absorbed moron got up to? I'm supposed to believe that two selfless caretakers of an entire pride would find something to be proud of in a mate whose only concern is himself and his looks? Judith Shale might feel like she wrote the character of Spencer as an evolving individual who learned his lesson, but did he? He forced his sister to undergo a skin grafting procedure she didn't want just to assuage his own guilt. He told her that no one would ever love her if she weren't pretty, then realized how awful it sounded, but didn't correct himself and then went ahead with aforementioned skin grafting procedure, reinforcing the false assumption that looks are all that matter.

I hated Spencer. A lot. He never grew, he never learned, and his alphas are a couple of pussies. Quite literally, but you know what I mean.

Fuck this book.

I am impressed with this debut novel.

Omega Twink was a sweet endearing story with some tasteful hotness. I enjoyed reading this book very much. I thought the writing was done very well.

I really liked Spencer and the bosses together. At first Lane took awhile to grow on me. I didn’t agree with either of the bosses in making Spencer choose. I feel like he had to give up so much and even after everything my heart still never seemed to fully heal for him. And even though I know Spencer needed/wanted to be the one to take on his sisters burden since he blamed himself… I just feel like the mom should have at least offered herself. I mean, I know I would have, if it had been my kids. I wouldn’t want either of them marred. I would take that away from both of them. But the mom never seemed like that great of a person anyway so I guess it was expected for her to choose her looks over her children.

But, it was nice to see a book that didn’t make “everything” all better (more believable) so I was happy with the outcome.

Anyway great story. Got the emotions out of me. Will definitely be keeping a lookout for more of this authors’ works in the future.

This got surprisingly dark for an MMM cat-shifter fated-mates mpreg with “twink” in the title. Readers who pick this one up expecting fluffy A/O smut will get more than they bargained for.

Spencer is an omega going into his first heats, which he has no idea how to deal with because his parents basically booted that part of raising him. He’s also a vain, shallow, ageist prettyboy obsessed with his Instagram likes. He shuffles through his menial office job while dreaming of landing a professional modeling contract.

His two alpha bosses are his fated mates (and leaders of their pride), but Spencer can’t be with them until he becomes a worthy partner. When his ten year old sister is unexpectedly left in his care, Spencer finds out how useless he really is at responsiblity and adulting.

I was glad to see that Spencer grew and learned, and improved himself. The writing was generally smooth.

Interesting new author to watch.

This was a short quick read for me. Spencer's been crushing on his two bosses the two Alpha Pride leader's. Spencer works in an office filling paper's he really wants to be a model he is more interested in how many follower's that he has on his instagram. Spencer goes into heat and his boss Edna has to tell him what it is because his mother never told him. I had a few problems with this book first of all was Spencer he was selfish and at times so forgetful that I wanted to slap him. Lane and Harley the pride Alphas are his mates and they try to let him do his own thing because he didn't know that they were his mates. I really liked Edna she tried to help Spencer who I thought didn't ask enough questions. When his mother sent his sister to stay with him he should have sent her back but he left a 10 year old at home by herself. When his sister his hurt in the fire Spencer really saw that he was irresponsible and he felt that he wasn't good enough for Lane and Harley. The other issue I had was that the surgery they took skin off his face to put it on his sister I wanted to stop reading at this point as someone who was in the medical field I knew that it they could have took skin from her body I have never heard of anyone taking skin off anyone's face to give to another. I get what the author was going for he gave up his modeling career by doing it. This was my first time reading this author. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling.

2.5 Stars ~ It's always exciting to find a new-to-me author, but finding a debut release, also? Beyond thrilled. I liked the premise behind the blurb and I was hoping 'Omega Twink' would live up to my expectations.

I can't begin to imagine how Spencer felt when he went into heat for the first time. He didn't even know what was going on as his mother, an omega also, never told him about heats or that this would happen signifying Spencer becoming an adult omega. The only thing his mother ever taught him was that he had to look his best to get what he wanted. Hence, Spencer's Instagram account, desire to be a male model, and just a touch (cough) of vanity. The fact that Lane and Harley, his bosses, and the leaders of their pride, affect him far more than any other male alpha is very confusing.

I had anticipated the two alphas, once realizing that Spencer is their mate, to let him know and then proceed with plans to be together. I was very pleasantly surprised that the author didn't make it that easy. With the lingering remains of his heat, discovering Lane and Harley - the leaders of their pride, no less - are his mates, and having his mom send his ten year old sister to him to watch for a while, Spencer has his hands more than full. Lily isn't an easy child and causes more than her share of problems. It's no wonder that Spencer is firmly of the mindset that he isn't responsible enough to be the third leader of the pride - he really has some maturing to do.

I enjoyed this story, but I can't say that I was over the moon about it. Spencer was very immature in his thinking and he was beyond vain. I really liked him in the beginning, but I lost that feeling over time. Lane and Harley were great characters and I would have liked to learn more about them. There were quite a lot of unrealistic plot points, particularly the last half of the novella, that I had a difficult time getting behind, although that could just be me.

If you like alpha and omega stories then this might be the read for you.

Spencer works as a clerk, but actually spends his days looking in mirrors and taking pictures for his Instagram. His head is never on anything more serious than how he looks. He has noticed that the two Alpha leaders, Lane and Harley, are incredible hot, but once he goes into heat (which no one has ever explained to him?) he turns into even more of an airhead. He is such an incredible selfish and self-centered person that almost nothing penetrates his head.

The big turn that Spencer makes does not make any sense.

In my opinion Lane and Harley should have dumped him and run far away!

The book was ugh/ok. I forced my way through the book to see if there was improvement on the writing and character development. There was none. Spencer is a self-absorbed ass and Lane and Harley were just really not there much. Lane and Harley wanted the omega but was more worried about the pride. This book was more about Spencer and his looks, modeling, and being an all-around pain-in-the-ass. How could treat your sister like she is an afterthought and then basically tell her that looks are everything and no one will love you if you aren't pretty, WTF?

Whoever edited this or was a beta reader sucked. The author basically threw out a book to have a book out, there was no planning, plotting, editing, re-reading, or anything.

Another filler book that is great for when you have no brain power and want a harem.
Spencer was quite conceited and I didn’t really like him besides the moments when he interacted with his bosses.
The dynamic was acceptable for me but my main issue was with the ending.
WTF is with the giving your sister disfiguring burns and skin swapping with his burnt sister and becoming ugly? For a fluffy feel good book that plot twist was completely unnecessary and honestly turned me off. I guess it could represent character development and Spencer’s becoming less selfish but there are better ways to show that! I love my HEAs and this twist spoiled it for me.

Selfish Spencer steals the spark

Spencer, the vain and self-absorbed protagonist, plummeted into a pity party of asinine proportions in the latter half of the novel, and I almost gave up reading. There was absolutely no redemption of his character, his sister, or his mom: and all three exhibited behavior that really needed some serious correction.

In short, this book fell flat, bloated and heavy with irreparably flawed characters that seem to learn nothing from their mistakes, care little for consequences, and yet still end up in a “happy for now” ending. Not even a sexy threesome could hold my interest by the end- I just wanted it to be over.

This is more of a coming of age story than a romance. Spencer learned a couple of hard lessons as he grew but he handled them with grace and selfless courage. The relationship between Spencer, Lane and Harley was interestingly predictable rather than romantic. The story had a nice slow flow. We spent a lot of time on Spencer but I would have liked to learn more of Lane and Harley's beginning and how they missed Spencer in the three years he worked for them. I didn't see much evidence of Spencer being a 'twink though. This story was a nice soft read. Not much 'twink' in the Spencer.

Surface Beauty

An omega discovers he has two fated mates...who are the leaders of his pride.
The know they need an omega to complete them and help lead the pride.
But his dream has always been to be a model.

When his young sister comes to stay with him things become really complicated, and clear, at the same time.

Spencer was an omega who had the most intense heat that I have ever read about in a shifter story. The book is written in first person and it's very well done. However, Spencer does start out being a bit vain and self absorbed. The plot was interesting and Spencer grew on me by the end of the story. I did enjoy it and found it to be quite interesting and unique. =)

Spencer is hot. Oh so hot. And fuzzy. And he can't think straight. And he feels hot. And he can't stop thinking about Lane and Harley. Whatever could be the matter. Oh and did I mention that he feels hot.

DNF. Gave up. Could not read any more about how hot Spencer was feeling.

The protagonist is exceptionally annoying at first, but by the end you can really see his growth and understanding of who he his. While I disliked his sister the entire time, the rest of the characters seemed to have their moments, making it overall better.

This story has so many twist and turns. At one point I felt sorry for spencer, then in the next i was like what the hell is Spencer thinking. Lane and Harley also was on a roller coaster. Great book getting ready to read the next one.

This was a nice short read. I loved the characters of Spencer, Lane and Harley. It was unique because of the cat shifters and the fact that Spencer has two alphas to mate with. I found it actually cute. I think that this was a great escape from reality for a couple of hours.
I voluntarily received an ARC copy of this story and I have left an honest review.

His first heat had him believing he was losing his mind. Then finding out the Pride Alpha's were his true mates made him feel he wasn't good enough to be a 3rd leader. This book suggest another possible book.
