It was a dangerous game to play with the daughter of our biggest investor, and I was determined to show Raini that she had been outmatched in whatever teasing game we'd been playing. I was the one with the blindfold and ties but the way her body reacted to my kisses and touch had me wondering if I was in charge or if she was the one controlling me just by being so damn sexy. She really had played me, only the stakes in the game were much higher than I'd expected.

When Zane is at the end of his rope, the man is like a beast, "First, about that proper effing kiss," he growled. His mouth slammed over mine and a rough punishing kiss followed..." Raini liked to play coy at times, "she patted the side of a speckled gray horse and smiled. "Uh huh. What kind of ride did you think I meant?" I liked this book, Raini and Zane made a good couple.

At the beginning I didn’t know how I was going to feel about Raini. I feel that the development of their relationship was natural and organic. However the ending was problematic. I feel that Tess was trying to add some drama at the end but didn’t carry through. The book could have ended naturally with chapter 21 and she could have added in a cute epilogue to get to the word/page count. Overall it was a great read.

So far, this has been my least favorite book in this series. I still really enjoyed the book, but for whatever reason, I just didn't connect with the characters as much as the other two books. I felt like Raini and Zane's relationship was purely physical and they didn't really get to know each other at all. The "game" they played was kind of weird, but the title of the book completely makes sense with the story. I still enjoyed the book and will be continuing the series.

Childish & Spoiled
I'm not going to spend much time on this review but I'll say this. I enjoyed the previous two books far more. Raini was a very unlikable character. She's childish spoiled and is definitely a coward. Her attitude and behavior made it a task for me to finish this book. Even the sex scenes weren't enough to rate this book more than 2 stars.

This book binds you to it from the first page... yeah I said that LOL. This book hooks you in and you can't help but the feisty Raini, but he is the perfect match for the sexy Zane.

This book is another Amazing read by Tess Oliver. This book is Zane and Raini's story. I loved how I was drawn into the story from the first page and how well the characters are developed. I found this book very hard to put down. I look forward to reading more books by Tess Oliver.

This book didn’t capture my attention as much as the first two did. Zane and Raini play a little game and end up falling for each other. I don’t know what it was but it just didn’t connect for me.

I received an ARC for an honest review.
The third installment in the Playthings series. Although they are all stand alone I'm glad I know the whole story.
Zane is the Marketing Director of Playthings, a multi-million dollar company that has a monthly subscription service where members receive a box filled with sexy items.
The guys are invited to the 60th birthday weekend for Carter Bonneville (one of the company's silent investors) on his 300 acre ranch. While Zane is paying his respects to Carter, in walks Rainsford Bonneville (a/k/a Raini), Carter's wild, youngest daughter. There is an immediate attraction on both sides.
The weekend is filled with sexy pranks and teasing between Zane and Raini but also some more serious dialog and time spent getting to know each other.
This is my favorite story (so far). Although it is a short read I felt that I got to know the characters and there were intervals in between their interaction that gave more credibility to their relationship.
Will Zane be able to tame Raini? Read and find out.
P.S. I was very interested in the "In a Bind" playthings box and the special "chair" Zane and Raini explored...HOT HOT HOT!!!

This is the third in the Plaything series. They just keep getting better and better. This one is about Zane and Raini. Zane is one of the four partners at Plaything, a company that provides home delivery of specialty boxes filled with adult playthings. Raini is the youngest daughter of one of their biggest backers. Tess Oliver's books are wonderful. They draw you in and you can't stop until you finish. I can't wait to see what she has in store for Aidan, the last of the Plaything playboys!

All I can say is WOW! Let the games begin! In a Bind is the third book in the Plaything series. I am torn, but I think this one is my favorite so far in this series. Plaything is multimillion dollar monthly subscription of sexual items. Every month Plaything has different themes with items included in box that represent the theme of the box. Plaything has four owners (Trey, Chase, Zane, and Aidan). The owners have been friends since childhood. Each book in the series covers one of the owners of Plaything. Book one was Trey’s story. Book two was Chase’s story. In a Bind, book three, is the story of Zane and Raini. Zane is the Marketing Director at Plaything. He is muscular and so, so hot and gets the attention of every female, seeing no need for a committed relationship. The owners of Plaything are invited to the home of Carter Bonneville for the weekend to celebrate Carter’s 60th birthday. Carter is a major investor in Plaything. Carter has hinted to Zane that he would like him to get together with his daughter, Mindi. Zane finds Mindi too uptight and rigid. However, it is when his youngest daughter, Raini is introduced to Zane that things get interesting. Raini is the wild child. She is a big “chicken” when it comes to commitment. There is this immediate attraction between Zane and Raini. They have this banter that turns into a sexual, teasing game. There is so much more to their story, but I do not want to give away spoilers, so you will just have to read In a Bind to find out what happens. I will tell you that Tess Oliver never lets me down. This is a sweet, quick read. There is drama, heartbreak, and some out of this world, holy crap sex scenes (thank you Tess Oliver!) that lead to a fantastic HEA. The problem I have with these short fantastic books is that I want MORE!!! I hope you do read In a Bind because you will be missing out on a wonderful read. In A Bind is the third installment of the Plaything series and is about Zane and Raini. Zane is one of the partners of Plaything, and is in charge of marketing for the company. He, Trey and Georgie (from book one of the series, Easy Come), and Aidan are all going to one of their biggest investor's ranch for the weekend to celebrate Carter's 60th birthday. Carter has hinted to Zane that he should get to know his daughter, but upon meeting Mindy, Zane knows right away that it will never work. Then Raini shows up. Zane didn't even know Carter had another daughter. Raini is a wild child and Carter doesn't think there's a man out there who could tame her without ruining her wild side. Zane takes that as a challenge, and he and Raini go about teasing each other relentlessly and trying to one-up the other each time. And what a fun ride it is following them! But what happens if real feelings start to develop?
This was my favorite of this series so far and I can't wait to read more! I absolutely loved the banter between these two and it kept me smiling (& then blushing madly)! My only complaint was that I wanted to read MORE about them!

Tess Oliver has done it again, she has a created one of my favorite female leads Raini, she is feisty, sexy, loves playing games and does what she wants. Zane is the male lead, third owner of Plaything who handles the Marketing. Zane, Aiden, Trey and Chase are invited to their leading investors home for a weekend birthday party. Zane didn't realize this weekend would change his life forever. Raini is the youngest daughter of his investor and she is going to turn his world upside down.
In a Bind is a fun and sexy read. My favorite of this series but I have a feeling bad boy Aiden will give Zane a run for top Alpha. If you haven't read this story then I highly recommend reading In a Bind, you will not be disappointed, you will love it!! Happy Reading!!!

PLAYTHING is a series of standalones by Tess Oliver, about 4 childhood friends, who have had no intention of settling down with one woman, but, now, they are falling like dominos...As much as I have loved Easy Come and Sweet Spot, the first two installments in the PLAYTHING series, I have to say, IN A BIND is my favorite one...I'll say, so far, because I know this isn't the last one, but up,to this point, it's my favorite, and I really have loved them all....but they really are all different....This one is about Zane......He, Chase and Aiden have to attend the 60th birthday party of one of PLAYTHING'S biggest investors, who thinks Zane would be perfect for his daughter....and he is...it's just the wrong daughter....Raini is a wild child and isn't impressed with Zane's money or his....okay, maybe she does like his looks, but, Raini has a little kink, and so does Zane.....so they just fit....Zane and Raini are perfect for each other.....I also love how much story Tess Oliver can tell in these short books, and I love the way she sees all these guys as basically the same and totally different....This is such a good series...I would hate to miss any of them....and, again, just like the others, IN A BIND is SMOKING HOT!!!!

How does Tess Oliver keep coming up with these incredible sexy hot scenes that are so unlike each other in all of her books?!?! Zane a wealthy sexy stud known to be the jerk of the group met his match with the fiery no-holds-barred crazy chick Rainsford (Raini)... They had this crazy chemistry you can feel come off the pages!!! Tess has you on the edge of your seat with rosy-red cheeks throughout the entire book just panting after the Main character. You never know what's going to happen!! Love this series!!!

This is book #3 in the Plaything Series. This is Zane's Story. Zane is one of the 4 owners of Plaything and meets one of their major investors daughter at the investor's birthday party. Zane may have met his match....let the games begin. Can't wait for the next book!

I was so ready for the next owner of Plaything to get his story and Author Tess Oliver didn't disappoint! Zane and Aiden, the two (of the four) single owners of Plaything head out to the 60th birthday party of one of their investors. Introductions are made all around, but nothing prepared Zane for the wild child, Rainsford! I was laughing out loud many times at the quick wit and shenanigans Raini pulled on Zane, just to laugh as hard at Zane and the stunts he pulled!
When reading, I like description, but not excessive description. No problem with Author Tess! I love how she not only describes but throws in hilarious comments from the characters! In A Bind is another winner! Bring on Aiden's story (Plaything Book 4)!

Not prepared to find himself intrigued, and some what mystified by the alluring, sexy Raini Bonneville. Raini is a vibrant, tattooed, tells it like it is woman. And she's about to give Zane Bostwick a run for his money this weekend.
Every chance Raini gets, she is finding herself try to temp the sexy, redhead business man. She knows getting him to cave and have some fun will be worth all the effort she is putting into teasing him. Getting through the weekend with her family, who don't seem to understand her, is made easier just being in the same room as Zane. The chemistry and heat Zane and Raini share is off the charts when they are together and they both discover that their is so much more between them than a weekend fling.
HOTT, sexy, sweet, oh and HOTT! In A Bind was another awesome part to this addicting series. But that's no surprise, because Tess Oliver can't write anything that I can not devour and love. In a bind is a great addition to the Plaything series, with quick moving lust and attention, long haired, sexy co owner of the Plaything company Zane has found his elusive one, but she isn't ready to be caught, Raini is a wild child ,free spirit, and commitment phobic and together these to make one hot couple. Fast read only thing that held me at four stars is the ending, it was way abrupt but still a great read!

It's Zane and Raini's story and as unlikely as this couple seem, from first clashing wit with Raini....Zane is hooked. Except Zane is a take control man but can he get Raini to surrender to his charms. You will have to read this brilliant book and see. Heck backtrack and read the whole series for one LUSH playful treat !!!
