So, I walked away from this one thinking what did I just read. I loved the mystery. The romance, if it could even be called that, was definitely dark. The BDSM may have been consensual, but was neither safe nor sane. Thrown all together and the author ended up with a book that I couldn't put down. The ending left me with a lot of unanswered questions, which I hope means the author isn't finished with this story.

This book keeps you on the edge of your seat the ENTIRE time you read it. It took me three days to read, and each day while I was at work, I was constantly trying to put the pieces together in my head.
The BDSM play scenes are amazingly written. The murder victims experience some gruesome things, and the author does an amazing job at being descriptive and not shying away from the harshness. I love a good thriller that doesn't skip over the hard stuff - so if you do too, you'll love this one.
In a twisted way, the entire book, the game of cat & mouse, is sexy. Destiny's desire to delve into the BDSM world under the guise of solving the case is intriguing and hot, especially for the adrenaline-junkie type readers.
I don't want to spoil anything else by babbling, so just read the blurb and buy it - you won't regret it!

This novel has murder, love, intrigue and suspense. Dr. Destiny Blake gets involved with Detective Montanna. Their meeting is the result of gruesome murders of women and men that are involved in BDSM. You think you know who it is but this storyline has so many twists and turns.

This is one of those stories that kept me on the edge of my seat, and I was totally captivated as this dark erotic horror story unfolds. The plot twists and turns kept this story in constant suspense and unsure of who the actual sadist killer was and how certain people played a role. The game of cat and mouse will keep the pages turning as new pieces of the puzzle fall into place.
Dr. Destiny Blade will become embroiled in a serial killing case because several of the murdered victims were her clients. One of her client's personality has changed in the last few weeks, and his behavior is erratic. She has a history of having psychic visions, and lately, they have become more vivid and are starting to affect her life. “When I touch your skin, you’ll know…you’re perfect.” “Soon you’re going to belong to me.”
Detective Montana Givens is one of those assigned to the BDSM murders that are happening in Richmond. As he and his partner investigate Club Noir and Dr. Blade, more bodies will be discovered, and the suspects will increase. He has also experienced psychic visions, and when he and Destiny touch, they can see the same thing.
The story is one that involves clients in a private BDSM club called Club Noir run by Mistress Jade, The list of clients include many government officials, influential businessmen and reads like a who's who for Richmond. Some men are willing to pay thousands of dollars for a session with one of Mistress Jade’s special submissives. Destiny will enter Club Noir and agree to become a submissive where she will enter a new world, which includes giving full control, no safe word, and anything goes to the client. “Be careful engaging with the dark side. You may just lose your very soul.” “Everything about this case seemed to have a hidden door, a secret passageway leading to the darker side of sex.”
As the police are trying to solve the BDSM murders, more bodies are discovered, the suspects are limited, the secrets are great, and the mystery continues. The story only gives bits and pieces of clues until the end and keeps the reader guessing. There are several gruesome scenes, and the horrors that some people will experience before death is harsh. It is a very well written mystery suspense story.

Loved this story. Strong warning that if you don't like dark erotic suspense this book may not be for you. But if you love suspense, angst, mystery, erotic sensual sex, and of course love than I urge you to read this book. The characterization is involved and fully developed as us the in depth plot that keeps you on your toes. Read this and you will not be disappointed.
