It's hard to believe that the author is only 13 yrs. old. This story of a young boy and his dog trying to survive the dead while searching for his sisters just draws you in and never lets go. I laughed, I cried and cheered this pair on. The characters are well written and the pace is steady right up to the ending, which I must say, I didn't see coming. Way to go Daltin Weeks, you have made a new fan.

Well done!
I read this to my grandkids. They really liked it and wished it hadn't ended. They liked the characters really well. They also enjoyed the scariness (their words) of the story. They are ages 7,9, and almost 11.

Great start.
Awesome short story by an amazing young writer. Told from the the prospective of a young man losing his parents. Setting out to find his sister. Recommended

What a great story and I for one will make sure others hear about this book. Daltin has done such a great job on this and I'm so very ready for a book #2, as I'm hoping this may be a series, whether it's one book or more. A 5 star rating for sure! Again, awesome job Daltin. You ROCK!!!!!

I loved this story written by Dalton Weeks. Every boy should have a companion like Zeus. I couldn't put the book down until I finished reading it. I wasn't happy with the ending, I was hoping for a series with the two so I am thinking maybe a miracle w
