Tiff & Ian investigate the death of a woman by a falling sofa in a furniture store. Many suspects and something else going on behind the scenes that they just can't put their finger on. Lying coworkers and untrustworthy information has them befuddled. Also, Ian has a woman that's determined to be his girlfriend to gain access to his trust fund. Trying to avoid her has Ian disguising himself as someone else with hilarious results. Tiff is still searching for Stone and still seeing Ryan. An impasse with Stone happens when he shows up again during her date with Ryan.

A.R. Winters effort in Furniture Fatality in Vegas continuation of the Tiffany Black series (#9) is a decent follow up to the #8 story. The investigation of a murder at a furniture store connects to a bank robbery and how Black adds up the related pieces to get police officer Ryan (who she is now romantically interested in) to make the final arrest stayed interesting throughout. As stated in my novel #8 review, mystery character Stone remains as such, making a quick appearance in the last chapter to hook you into finding out more of his developing story in the next Tiffany Black novel.

Furnishings for Tiffany

Hopefully Tiffany gets a bonus of furniture for solving the case. The layout of story was better...not endless paragraphs. I'm sorry but does anyone remember what Tiffany looks like? All reminders are of Ian's lame looks and red hair. What about Tiffany's appearance? We all know she likes to eat, is a casino dealer, a P.I. and loves Stone. I for one could use a update on what she looks like.

Tiffany and Ian are hired to investigate a mysterious death at a furniture store in which the victim had a sofa fall on them. Every one was saying it was an accident but the store owner wanted to find out for sure and Tiffany thought something was off. Ian has to fight off an amorous girl who is following him everywhere and Nanna puts in an appearance to help investigate. G00d reading with an interesting plot thanks

Tiffany strikes again

It was okay but what kept it going was the funnies of Nana and Ian. Great ideas. The plot was just okay. There really weren't many exciting moments and there weren't a lot of cupcakes in this one. The next one should be really interesting finding out more about Stone

Easy review to do, as its the same with this series. Fun lighthearted series that is entertaining. Similar to the Stephanie Plum series. In this edition, Tiffany investigates the suspicious death of a furniture store worker. Supposedly a boxed up couch fell off a shelf and squished her to death, but is that really what happened?

A Cozy Tiffany Black Series

As usual, I enjoyed this #9 book in this series. The characters are always good and I am glad to see Tiffany is interested in someone other than Stone.

Tiffany and Ian are on a challenging case - how and why was a woman murdered by a flat sofa in a furniture store? Between dodging wanna be girlfriends for Ian, hunting for more leads on Stone's disappearance making and eating cupcakes, they manage to solve the case!

FANtastic!

Another fast paced who-done-it! Most of the time I can figure out who did what, but this time not so much. I love these cozy mysteries and look forward to reading each one. I highly recommend it.

Meh

Boring case, boring continued story arcs, boring book. The most entertaining part was a dude in a wig, and that's just sad.

Mildly entertaining

A true beach read, predictable but fun. Reads a lot like most murder mysteries, keeps one entertained, but not quite on the edge of your chair.

Slow

This one was slow and not all that interesting. It took me a long time to read because I kept stopping for days at a time.

All these books start to get repetitive in story line. Silly story line but easy to read

Another good read

This series can be addicting with the mysteries and trying to solve them before the end. Ian and grandma are hilarious to have around, while tiffany is a great character to follow.

This review is from: Furniture Fatality in Las Vegas: A Cozy Tiffany Black Mystery (Tiffany Black Mysteries Book 9) (Kindle Edition)
I was given an advanced copy of this book for an honest review and was not compensated in any way nor was I required to give a positive review.

Tiffany is hired by Harry owner of the Betta Furniture store to investigate the death of his employee Janice Wilkerson. The police have ruled it as an accident but Harry believes Janice was murdered. Tiffany along with her loyal sidekick Ian set about, with their usual enthusiasm, to solve the mystery. Along with the mystery, Ms. Winters has added a love interest for Ian and as much as Ian wants a girlfriend he finds Cecilia not to his liking but you will have to read the book to see how she is dealt with. Tiffany is still seeing her detective and that relationship seems to be proceeding but this reader misses Stone.

I recommend this series for anyone who loves humor along with mystery because Ms. Winters writes with both and always has a bit of a twist ending that delights. I would like to see the characters of Tiffany and Ian start to develop a level of maturity along with their humor and sleuthing.

Excited to read another in the Tiffany Black series. I liked this one more than the last in the series. I still need more Stone!! :-) I really enjoyed the first book in this series - I think what the later books miss is Tiffany being in danger herself. I don't care for thrillers, but I do like a lot of tension in my cozy mysteries.

Furniture Fatality in Las Vegas is definitely worth your time!
I am absolutely addicted to the Tiffany Black series and this book did not disappoint.

Furniture Fatality in Las Vegas was an excellent mystery, it kept me interested and guessing to the very end!
I could not stop laughing throughout the whole thing and I especially loved Ian having to disguise himself to get away from his "girlfriend"

I was sad when it ended, and I can't wait for the next one! I wish you could write faster A.R. Winters! ;)

If you enjoy mystery's that have twists & turns and tons of laughs then go check out Furniture Fatality in Las Vegas!!!

I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

This series is good and I love the characters and the stories, but I am tired of waiting for a resolution of the Stone situation and his short appearance in the last few books.
