Firstborn is a collection of poetry. The book is divided into three sections Dusk, Twilight and Dawn. Each section unveils a different mountain, deals with a different heartache and conquers a different war. The book depicts a journey of redemption through self-discovery. The common themes running throughout the book are love, femininity, abuse, survival and heartbreak. Firstborn is a story about a young woman writing her way back to herself.

The illustrations were beautiful and the poetry but it isn't what my heart and soul needs right now. Still beautifully written.
But if you need something about heartache, breakup, self-love and finding yourself after a tough breakup then you'll probably love this😊❤
