An excellent resource for utilizing social media to its fullest in order to maximize your business. Written by a leader in my essential oils company (although these strategies can apply to all businesses), I found this book to be a refreshing, no BS approach to making your business noticeable in the very saturated world of social media. Lindsay Teague Moreno knocked this one out of the park!

I've read this book twice and I know I will continue to refer back to it time and time again. Think of it as a roadmap for getting noticed online. Lindsay lays out a clear strategy with steps that anyone can follow. I've read hundreds of business books and so many left me with nothing more than a temporarily feeling of motivation. You won't find any fluff in this book - just straight talk. I've had measurable increases in my income and social media presence following this advice. Buy this book and change your business in 2017.

I loved this book, it was short and sweet and there were many aspects that I could apply immediately to my business. I would have liked a little more examples, more stories or pictures painted to drive home the points. But overall, I got a lot out of this book. (The Bossup! podcasts are great too).

I love how simple and quick this was to read. I am not a mom but I have a very short attention span and this gave me the information I needed in a format that is suited to my personality. I learned a lot and I am glad to have this to reference when needed as I work to build my business from home.

You can definitely read this in a day if you set aside the time. Very relatable, easy to read, actionable. If you want an uncomplicated approach to social media, Lindsay explains it here. She is real with you about setting the right expectations when it comes to growing and working your business, but she’s also very encouraging and gives you steps to implement. Not only that, a few good chuckles are sprinkled throughout :)

I've been following Lindsay Teague Moreno on different social media platforms for a while now. I love that she is real - she tells it like it is. No BS.
I was hoping for a little more detail, a few more specifics in this book, but I still found it helpful and inspiring.
It is a very quick, easy read. I'd recommend it to anyone who is looking to build their business using social media.

Nice book to give you startup ideas
I was expecting more specifics I guess, and knowing what business Lindsay is in, I was hoping for tips specific to that business. But it really did offer helpful ideas on how to promote yourself and your business on social media.

Written in 2016, so some of the info needs a little updating, but the premise and information behind selling is still very relevant. If you're a mom, especially a mom in an MLM/direct selling business, you need this book. It will help you understand how to sell a product and how to emotionally connect with your audience so that they want the solution you sell for the problem they have.
If you're a mom running a small business, you should read this too. It really puts into perspective the actual WORK that it takes to run a business. Because it does take work.
The only thing I didn't like is when she said that determination and grit for getting your business up and running means "wearing the same pair of underwear two days in a row." (pg.3) She lost me there. She also talked about sacrificing time with family temporarily in order to be successful in the long run, and I just can't get behind that. While I agree there are times to hire a babysitter, call in a grandma, or doing anything to find time to work your business, sacrificing family for success which could be taken away at any point is not worth it to me. I would rather have slow and steady success than wear dirty underwear and not see my family. If I don't have my family, I don't have success.

I hate social media for marketing like legit loathe it. Yet, it is so needed to establish a business. I listened to Lindsay's other book Boss Up!: This Ain’t Your Mama’s Business Book twice and was eager to listen to this one as well.
I will admit, I have known about most of these tips for some time, but it was nice to get a quick refresher. I love how relatable Lindsay is and she motivated to take a look at where my marketing and social media is lacking and learn more about it! Another great book for female business owners!

I loved both the simple tips and suggesting and Lindsey's fun writing style. Unlike most business self-help books this felt more like I was having a conversation with her than reading a book. Helpful in Detailing the Immediate Steps to Take
This book does a good job at proving actionable steps to take and reasons for taking them, combined with personal experience. Have you heard them before? Yes. But not with this spin and not with the personality behind the content. The plan is laid out, easy to read, and should be easy to follow. I was able to add some notes I didn’t already have on my current social media plan and look forward to seeing the results.

Lindsay nailed it. This book is nonsense, funny and gets to the point, that is to build a successful social media presence. Anyone can do it when done properly. Lindsay share of her real life ways she used to build social media (before it was cool) that lead to a million dollar successful #ladyboss business. If you are thinking about using social media to build a business or presence — start with this book! You will thank me later.

A must-read for anyone interested in promoting their business on social media! I loved her easy-to-read, straight-to-the-point style, which made it simple to comprehend and put into action immediately! I'm a mom to four kids under four and I was able to read it in one afternoon. Definitely worth it.

I read this book when new to social media because I had ZERO clue about how to get started. This helped me learn how to stop trying to be like everyone else and that by being my authentic self, THAT would help me get noticed. I love Lindsay’s no BS approach. She gives solid tips that you can implement STAT and see results ASAP.

I was super stoked to read this as I love learning from the Boss Up podcasts. However, it was very basic and so I was quite disappointed. Loved the author's humour and honesty in the book, but wanted more in depth information.

Fantastic tips to not be sales
Great book and to the point! Learning how to actually be genuine to sell a product instead of just sounding like a car salesmen is not common knowledge and this book will teach you all about it.

I love the way Lindsay gives you her ideas matter of fact. I re-read a couple of parts and of course, highlights of things I found interesting/helpful. For any Mom Boss or a woman who wants to be a Mom Boss, this is definitely a recommended read.
