When my cousin Jax bails me out after a bar fight, I head to his middle-of-nowhere cabin.
Not my first choice but who knows, maybe I’ll become a real fucking mountain man.

I’m not the only person staying at Jax’s place.
His wife’s cousin, Honor, is here too.
Suddenly this mountain is looking a hell of a lot better.

When Honor tells me her life is complicated it’s the understatement of the century.
Besides having a tender heart and the face of an angel, she’s a sister-wife, on the run from her ex, desperate to give her children a better life.

I’ve spent the last few years fucking around while Honor’s been raising her babies.
It’s time for me to get my shit together.
No one thinks Honor should get involved with another man, especially a man like me.

But they don’t understand—Honor is my woman now.
And I’m not leaving this mountain until I have her.

Dear Reader,

Honored: The Mountain Man’s Babies is part of The Mountain Man series by Frankie Love. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I love this series. These books are insta-love, insta-sweet, and insta-perfect. This one was so unique.

Honor is Harper’s cousin. Honor was pushed by her parents at a very young age into a sister wives situation. She was the third of three wives of a leader of a cult. She had three beautiful little boys, the youngest only three months old. She felt as though she owed it to her sons to get out of there and to try to make a better life for them. So she fled to her cousin Harper and her husband Jax.

Hawk is Jaxon’s cousin. Hawk keeps getting himself into trouble but is doing it by trying to help other people. This last time, Jax had to come to bail him out of jail so he convinced Hawk to come to the mountain and work for him and try to straighten his life out.

Hawk will never know what made him stop at the diner that day. He wasn’t even really hungry. But that’s where he first saw Honor eating a slice of cherry pie. And he fell in love, right then and there.

Cherry pie slice with whipped cream:

“One look at Honor and I want to fight for her in ways I don’t even understand. I want to protect this woman who looks like she’s seen better days.”

Sweet country love:

Hawk and Honor fall hard for each other. Hawk wants to provide a safe future for Honor and her children. But all he has is his truck. What can he offer her? Harper and Jax make things even more difficult by thinking they know what’s best for Honor and her boys. She left the babies father to be free and now someone else is trying to run her life.

sexy baths:

This was so sweet. It’s a quick read but there is a lot packed in to these pages. It even got pretty intense there for awhile. I am just in love with this series and plan to continue with the next book, Cherished: The Mountain Man’s Babies.

“No woman has made me want to pack it in and claim her as my own…but Honor is more than beautiful.
She is the woman who was made for me.”

Honored by Frankie Love is a first for me by this author.

A faced paced, no holds barred kinda book. A Super quick and easy read from start to finish, yes, but it also held my attention and kept me wanting more and more.

More of a novella than a novel, Honored was full of trials and tribulations as well as insta-love. Honor and Hawke are quite the unlikely pair. A runaway from a cult, Honor has fled her "husband" and "sister-wives" in order to find solace and a place of peace with her cousin Harper. Hawke is a delinquent with a record and a knack for helping people when they need it most. He's decided to take a journey to his cousins house to help him get his life on track and his cousin just happens to be Harpers husband. See the connection?!

Love at first sight is a hard sell for me. As much as the characters were developed for such a short story, I kind of hoped to have a little more of the chase, but I guess given the circumstances of their lives, insta was the best case scenario.

I did like where the story ended up and the flow worked very well. Although it was fast, I still enjoyed it a lot!

This one isn't funny - but it's still a sweet little fluff read. I'm giving it 3 because it really didn't do anything to piss me off.

Hawk is down on his luck, so he goes to work for his cousin Jax (from book 1). Honor is running from the same religious cult that her cousin, Harper (book 1), ran from. Honor is a "sister wife" to Harper's ex, Luke, who is now the messiah in the cult, and Honor already has 3 babies with him. Anyway - she ends up running into Hawk and the condom breaks. Then they all end up in the same house together. It's complicated. Yada yada, HEA.

This one didn't have the hilarity that book 1 had. This was just sweet fluffiness. I don't really have any complaints. After coming off that awful book I just read, "Tease", I feel like this one deserves 15 stars!!!

Reminder - narrator is Joe "sexy as f*ck" Arden.

Honor and Hawk.......

Before I get started you should know that I am completely biased when it comes to the mountain man trope. I mean really.....big, buff and bearded! Not to mention, sexy, protective and possessive. That said, Frankie Love's mountain men are some of my favorites. Burly and lovable. Add babies to the mix and it's an ovary explosion. I mean that figuratively and literally.

You know those times when you are in that certain 'mood' and you are in need of a sure thing. Meaning a fast-paced, erotic romance with lovable characters. When I am in that mood, I know Frankie Love's mountain men will make me swoon and smile.

Well you probably guessed by now that I loved Honored. This book had so many feels with a touch of darkness too.

Hawk is a bad boy with a golden heart. Yes, he has made many poor choices in his life so far but he can't regret them knowing his latest transgression brought him to Honor.

Honor is on the run from a relationship which revolves around a religious cult. She is tired of being treated like an object, given no respect. Honor is simply to stay quiet and obey. I didn't blame her one bit for wanting to get away.

Honor and Hawk have instant chemistry when they are face to face for the first time. From that first moment, their relationship took root and grew, as well as their feelings for each other.

Unfortunately there are several obstacles that Hawk and Honor must jump over in order to find their HEA. I loved watching them together; how they treated each other with reverence and adoration. Gosh, I loved Hawk!

So if you are a fan of erotic romance that is fast-paced, short and includes a sexy mountain man...I recommend you add this to you TBR!

There are also two amazing epilogues! I can't wait for Frankie's next Mountain man romance.

Short and sweet, but completely unrealistic and sexist.

My biggest problem with this book was that there were eight toddlers and babies living in that house. Let me repeat EIGHT TODDLERS and BABIES, they were well behaved, could sit down to dinner together and the two women were able to have long emotional conversations at the same time.

I am going to continue on with this series, if only to see how unrealistic it gets.

The couple: Hawk and Honor

Romance genre: mountain man
Series: The Mountain Man's Babies
Length: 128 pages

Plot: Hawk goes home with his cousin Jax after Jax helps him out, and Jax's wife's cousin Honor is there. Hawk falls hard, but she comes with some baggage: she's on the run from a cult and she has babies.

Commentary: So many babies! So many! Actually, so many relatives - everyone butting in and trying to help. In some cases, that's nice, but poor Honor. I imagine she would love some time to herself after getting out of the cult situation. She needs a nice spa day and then her own cabin in the mountain with nobody else around. It's nice to think that she had people who would help her though.

So many babies.

A happily ever after belongs to every woman, no matter how complicated their past or present may be. No matter how many tears they've shed or how many battles they've lost.

My Rating: 4 Stars

I think I’ve read almost every book that Frankie Love has put out there. I also know that I have some to read so I can finish and say I’ve read them all, but that’s besides the point. What I’m trying to say is that this is not my first reading of Frankie’s work and I purposefully pick her books up when I need something to make me smile.

Honored was a sweet, fast paced story that lifted my mood and made me forget I was on a reading slump since the beginning of April. I was kind of worried because I need to read to keep giving you this reviews, so…

The story itself was simple: a long time bachelor with a perch for helping the underdog, and a mother of three that grows a back bone and leave the son of a B… that makes her fear for her son’s life. Put this two characters together and you have a wonderful romance with steamy sex in between.

The writing is one of the things I also like about Frankie Love, because she doesn’t complicate anything using fancy language, she tell’s it like it is and does it with much ease. I have seen the way her writing has improved story after story and I have to say, witnessing this kind of stuff it’s just amazing.

I do have to say that Hawk is a sweet mountain man, but after I’ve finish reading the book my brain started to analyze it and came to the conclusion that it was a little too unrealistic the way he turned around to settle with Honor. He was a bachelor, he was not going to settle down and just all of a sudden her was changing his mind in a second. This doesn’t interfere with the enjoyment of the story but my brain has a tendency to over analyze stuff.

What I loved, and I do mean LOVE, about this story was the way Frankie Love refered to the changes a woman’s body goes through after having a baby, and the fact that all women deserve a happily ever after, even when we are too busy to wish for one.

This is fantastic fast read that will leave you smiling and wanting to have a happily ever after, with a man who fight for you, love you and cherish you for who you are.

Insta love

For this insta love story you have an opposites attract relationship. Hawk is labeled a bad boy but really is just a guy who helps his friends out that makes him look bad. Honor is a young sister wife with 3 small babies running from the leader of a cult. It was fast and over the top but in a good way. There was an actual plot and it kept me entertained. Ending in a HEA for this couple.

I have to admit I love Frankie Love’s Mountain Men stories and Honored is no exception. This is Hawk and Honor’s story. Hawk is a basically a good guy with a bad-boy image and a knack for being in the wrong place at the wrong time that often lands him in trouble. Honor is a young mother with 3 boys that is on the run from her ex who has 3 so called wives and has turned their church foundation into a cult.

From the moment Hawk and Honor meet they both know they have met someone special, as if fate brought them to that moment in time. But their pasts, their families and some major misunderstandings seem to always get in the way. Do these two young kids stand a chance at happiness, can Hawk become the man Honor deserves and a father figure to her boys? And what about Luke, the boy's father and cult leader, will he just let them go? So many questions! I highly recommend this wonderful story of love, loss and willingness to become a better human being. 2 Thumbs Up!

Wow.... just wow.
This is the best Mountain Man book, yet. I couldn't put it down once I started reading. Love has simply out done herself. This story had a rawer feel to it, then the other books in this series. Love takes you on an unimaginable trip with Hawk and Honor's story.

Hawk is a bad boy with a heart the size of Texas. He is rough around that tattooed masterpiece of a body's edges and his big heart gets him in trouble...... not the good kind of trouble, either.
Honor is a pure soul. She has been through more in her short 22yrs then most will go through in a lifetime, but she stays strong even when she doesn't think she is. She loves with her whole heart and her soul.
When Honor and Hawl meet at the diner sparks fly and that instalove we all love starts. There journey is just the a journey. It's filled with hills, pothole, roadblocks, and clear roads. Their story gives you everything you want in an instalove and everything you didn't know you wanted..

Seriously, well done Mrs. Love, well done.

Honored The Mountain Man's Babies by Frankie Love is the next installment in this series. Previous books are: Timber, Bucked and Wilder.
Meet Hawk. He´s a hot blooded man who fights for what he seems right. He lives with his cousin Jax. But he´s not alone. His´s wifes cousin Honor and her kids are staying there too.
Honor´s life is complicated. She´s on the run from her husband- who isn´t really her husband.
Both are lost souls. And it was very heart warming to read how these two lost people find love and form a family of their own.
I love Frankie Love´s books. I love the world of The Mountain Men, the strong men, great characters and the love you can touch while reading this series.
5 Stars and Thank you Frankie Love !

When I read a Frankie Love it's like a promise fulfilled! Honor is a sister wife who has had enough of the cult she and her three boys live in. She escapes to her cousin Harper (who we already know) and there she meets Hawk. He quickly falls into the "Mountain Man" lifestyle. Steamy HEA must read!

I found myself laughing when I probably shouldn't had been. I'm all for dirty talk but some of the things that are said are just too much. Couldn't help to laugh and roll my eyes. Who came up with "Lord's Will Bible College"? Hilarious just hilarious. I really liked Hawk and liked the way he instantly loved Honor. Not a bad insta-love book

What a fitting title for this book. I do suggest reading the previous books in this series, especially book 1. It’s not mandatory, but it will help with certain aspects of this story. Really enjoyed reading this story. It hit all the feels, and still has me smiling at the ending! Loved it!!

This is another book in the wonderfully entertaining Mountain Man's Babies series by Frankie Love. This book is about Jaxon from Timber cousin, Ben Hawk and Harper's (Jaxon's wife) cousin, Honor. Hawk is 25 years old, he's a mechanic and he's gotten into some trouble lately helping out his friends. He gets arrested for assault after sticking up for his friend. He's shocked when his cousin Jaxon bails him out of jail and offers him a place to live and a job building houses for his company. Honor is 22 years old with three sons under the age of three. She's illegally married to Luke, a polygamist who has two other wives. Luke started his own church which he pretty much turned into a cult and Honor knows she must escape with her sons. She goes to the only person who would understand and who she can trust her cousin Harper and her husband. The last thing on Honor's mind should be getting involved with anyone but when she meets Hawk she can't help it. Hawk didn't see himself settling down any time soon until he met Honor and her three sons. Now he realizes he will do whatever it takes to protect her and her boys.

Title: Honored
Author: Frankie Love

4 unexpected stars

Not being my first novel from the Mountain Men Babies series that I've read from Frankie Love, i was pretty sure of what to expect from this novel and still wanting that element of surprise. While i may not have been enthralled by all of her books, many have caught my attention and made me want to read so much more; morbid curiosity about the men and women that make this desolate mountain very captivating? Probably, otherwise i never would have kept reading this series; and i'm not saying that in a bad or evil way either. Honored took a completely different turn from all the other novels from this series, introducing us to two new characters that have some ties to those we've previously met in the past. Needing a better life for herself and her children, Honor left the compound/cult that she was forced into by her 'husband' and 'sister-wives', hoping that her sister, Harper, can help her in a time of need. The last thing she would have expected was her intense attraction to Hawke, a man who breathes and seems to drag trouble where he goes, no matter what his good intention seem to be. But when his cousin, Jax, bails him out of jail, Hawke ends up under the safe roof as Honor, unable to stay away from the girl who went through too much in too short a time and her babies.

4.5 sexy dreams

If you've ever had the chance to read one of Frankie Love's novels before, especially those of the Mountain Men, you know there's going to be insta-love. The kind of love that will make you think you live it, breathe and survive the other person. Then depend on them for your well being and hoping against all hope that things will work out considering all the horrible circumstances, which is what happened to both Honor and Hawke. Their lives are a mess - there's no other way of describing the epic failure at what's happened to them before they got together. But it's funny how a conclusion, a love so profound will change everything they saw as being a downfall and made them see a future that is possible. Which i found refreshing to an extent - to see love so unconditional that everything else around them ceases to exist. Of course, everything that they were running from always manages to catch up at one point or another, but never did they fail each other. Different from her previous books, Honored was a good read that was the adventurous short read that i needed and now that my curiosity is even more piqued about these mountain men and their women, i can't wait to find out whose story she'll be working on next.

* I volunteered to review this book for my honest opinion*
Those mountain men fall in love but when they fall in love they fall hard. We remember Jax and harper from Timber well this story is about their cousins. Hawk was bailed from jail for getting in a fight, he might have a long history with the cops but he does these things because he is always willing to help out a friend. His cousin Jax tells him the mountain work can help him make him a better man. He decides to go but before heading in he grabs a bite to eat meeting the most beautiful girl falling in love instantly. The girl he meets happens to be Honor, Harper's cousin. When they realize that somehow they are both there to repair themselves they start doing some secret hanky panky. Honor is on the run from the cult she belonged to wanting more for her kids she stays with her cousin but she ended up falling in love. When they are discovered what they have been doing things get worse. Ups and downs occurred but threw the mess that happens they somehow find a way to make it last and show that nothing is wrong with instant love.
The other stories have always been great but this one WOW, I felt Honors pain and I wanted to hold her but in the end, she got her HEA.

This is the fourth book in the series and I can not believe how much I am enjoying them. They are quick reads but what also make them so nice is because they keep you interested. Honor is on the run, she is escaping a cult, she is a sister wife, running from none other than Lucas. He was in the first book as part of the church that Harper ran from. Honor has very little cash and three kids under three, she is going the only place she knows and that is where harper is, in the mountains. Hawk seems to always be in trouble. Getting himself in trouble by helping others, always wrong place wrong time. Then is cousin Jax bails him out of jail and tells him he has to come work for him and get his life together. Jax meets Honor in the town diner and it is love at first sight, they just do not realize they will be living under the same roof. They have so many struggles to overcome, least of all Lucas coming after Honor and Jax and Harper not approving of them being together. Love is on their side, and HEA with more children in the near future.

5 well deserved Stars

Frankie Love I love you for this book.

This series is my first from this author and I am now a big fan of your work.

Why is this book 5 starts well for starters no virgins thank goodness for that. Now not that I have anything against books that are all about how pure and clean the girl is blhaahhh blhaaa blhaaaa

This book shows that love is love and everyone deserves love. Honour had 3 babies and found a man that was willing to do anything for her.

Just for that this book gets 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

For how well the book is written ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
For how we get to our happy ending ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
For being bold enough to write such a story line ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10starts

This book is short and as sweet as honey

What I love the most about this book and all your books I have now read ever since is how you do not waste ink on unnecessary thinks like describing the colour of the sunset 🌅 or any of that nonsense. Every word in the book has a point to make and the books are straight to the point LOVE 💗💓💞💞💓💓💓💝

The story plot was interesting and something new I've read. The h is in some sort of cult and lives with her supposed husband and sister-wives.

Though I loved the storyline, these Insta love didn't held the chemistry I was looking for.

- h has three babies before she meets the H. All sons and she had them one each year. So basically, her older one is 2, her other one is 1 and the youngest is just some 3-4 months older.

H thinks the h is virgin just by looking at her? HOW?!

- And the most irritating, annoying and disturbing characters in this book were Jax and Harper, their cousins! God there aren't enough words through which I can explain how much the heck they irritated me!

I would've given the book five if those two weren't in this book. Thank goodness I didn't read their book! The review on that book just tells us how much the readers regret reading that book.

Anyway, I enjoyed reading the book...

This story is so different from the others I loved how the author wrote outside the box and included the crazy ex Luke from book one. I adore Hawk, and was really angry the way Honors cousin was. I know she meant well but she was only thinking of herself and not Honor or Hawk and then theres Jaxon he was a bit of an idiot too. But i was impressed with how Buck helped Hawk get himself in order for the one he loves.

Good Read!

I enjoyed reading this book, but I have one issue with the story. Do people really jump into bed with each other within an hour of meeting? Is that how things work? Well, other than that, I think that when people want to be with each other, why can anyone tell them anything different? I Love that, "Just in the nick of time kind of ending"! think think everyone who reads this book will enjoy it!

Another great book. They just keep coming.

I get so involved with these books. I say to myself they can't get any better but they do. I have enjoyed each and every one of them. Hawk and Honor were so meant to be together. She was running away from a cult with 3 very young children. Hawk was drifting but care for his friends. Together Hawk and Honor had a lot of growing up to do. Read the book, it's so good. These books are really amazing. I’m so glad I bought the series.

In this book is Honor & Hawks story!

It was truly touching but I am going to admit that some points in the book annoyed me. Specially Honor. I didn’t agree with how she thought about things. It was frustrating. But overall I loved it.

Now on to the next book in the series. 🤗

New to the mountain

Being in trouble with the law, and running from a relationship, what a hard combination.
Hawk comes with love. Honor comes with complications. Together they come to magic. What happens when you get everything you never knew you wanted or needed?
86% is where this one ended, and I could've used more. Good read though.

Mountain love!

This is the fourth book in the series and it just keeps getting better. Luke is back and worst than ever, now he’s a cult leader and one of his poor wives run and heads for the mountains. Honour finds love with a bad boy mountain man and even though his rugged and gruff he showers her with love and kindness.
