Mia Day is trapped in Inferna. Without any idea where Violet is, she must play her cards carefully to avoid being killed. Placed in the role of slave to an inhumane monster, she is surrounded by bloodthirsty vampires on the brink of war.
Just how much will Mia sacrifice to escape, find Violet, and get back to her family? One thing is for sure… her time in hell will not leave her shattered and helpless.
I really hate writing these in third person. So hey! I'm Stephanie. I have all kinds of books including post-apocalyptic, dystopian, and paranormal romance. This is my first venture into clean rom-com, and I gotta tell ya, I loved it. I have 12 books planned for the Calendar Girls standalone series, so buckle up, buttercups! It's gonna be a fun ride, and I do hope you'll join me!
What else do you want to know? My husband can usually be found sailing the skies as an airline captain, and my daughter is TEN now (::commence sobbing at the cruel passage of time::)!
I love to connect with readers, so please reach out any time! With nice things of course. Please don't troll me LOL. I have kindof a sharp tongue and little restraint when provoked. It's not cute.
*voluntarily and honestly reviewed the ARC I received from the author*
I liked it! This and the previous installments were fun, near-nostalgic fast reads that entertained me for the short while it took to read them. Unbroken finished Big M's story in Inferna, her realization and understanding of certain stories not being finished before ending her own. It had a beginning, middle and end so it left me with a good novella that felt whole. She was a stubborn heroine that refused to give up and I admired that energy, especially her refusal to give up on finding her best friend. Some of the other characters involved either made me smile, tear up or get only more curious about them. It definitely makes me want to check out the other author responsible for Inferna and hope for more stories like this with Erickon's Unseen members.
I thoroughly enjoyed reading Stephanie Erickson's latest novella, Unbroken. She did a fabulous job of continuing Mia's story. It was an exciting read and full of rich characters. She writes in such a descriptive way that I had no trouble visualizing the settings.
Great ending for a too short series. Erickson has an amazing imagination and always has unique characters. She get your attention from the first page and keeps it to the end.
Mia hates being a slave in Inferna. Anguis, a vampire, keeps her under lock and key, but she won't give up until she's back home with her family. When she gets her chance at freedom, she takes it. She meets up with Logan again and he vows to keep her safe which won't be easy. Life is even more dangerous on the streets. Will Mia accomplish her mission to find Violet and make it back home? I'm enjoying Mia's adventures. I was glad that she reconnected with Logan. I loved it when they're together. They have such amazing chemistry. Unfortunately a war keeps them apart. Stephanie Erickson has written an exciting, action packed story. The characters are interesting and the plot is well written. Vampire Girl has been a wild and enjoyable ride.
I loved this story! Unbroken picks up where Unknown left off. Mia must continue to be strong so she can rescue her friend and then escape back to her world. Little does she know that her friend may be happy and want to stay. Will she see Logan again and where will that lead? You will need to read to find out and I assure you that you won't be disappointed. You won't want to put this one down since you just have to know how it ends. Another excellent story by Stephanie Erickson. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book.
