His Property

Rate this book
Whips. Chains. Punishments.

These are my world now, ever since gorgeous billionaire Liam Rutherford pushed me into the back of his expensive black SUV, forcing me to live with him at his fancy penthouse apartment in New York City, holding me as collateral for my father’s gambling debt.

He claims I don’t have to do anything I’m not comfortable with.

But that’s only because he’s convinced he’ll be able to break me down, to make me beg for his whips and chains, his rules and punishments -- and all the other twisted, filthy things he’s into.

His chiseled abs, his intoxicating smile, his tongue pushing past my lips, his nails digging into my back… they’re making me lose my mind. I am a slave to his every desire, his every want, his every wicked whisper.

The need for him rages inside of me, even as it makes the humiliation scorch my veins from the inside out.

He says he’s beyond saving.

But I’m going to do my damnedest to try…

Before he breaks me completely.

“I need you to know that I’m not going to hurt you.”

“You already hurt me.” I showed him my wrists, where the metal of the handcuffs had dug into my skin.

He reached out and ran his fingers gently over the faint red marks.

“This is nothing,” he murmured. “I haven’t even gotten started yet.”

I read His Property back when it was a serial and only got to read the first two. I've been wondering ever since what was going to happen. His Property is a full length novel but the first part of this story apparently. Liam is a dominating, slightly sadistic, controlling billionaire who decides to accept the daughter of someone who owes the wrong people as payment for paying off the man's debt. Yep, dad is a real charmer and so is Liam (insert major SARCASM).

His Property is hot, but I couldn't get past the icky feeling I had that Liam kidnapped Emery, but not only that, took away her right to choose the how her own future would play out. He not only kidnapped her, he imprisoned her, and used his sex on a stick, controlling nature against her far younger, naive nature. Yes, Liam is sexy, smart and possessive (which can be a good thing), but I honestly could not get past the way his and Emery's relationship started. Perhaps he can redeem himself and their relationship in the next installment, I hope so!

I received an ARC for an honest review.

READER/BUYER BEWARE: This author knows how to rip the customer off by offering short stories where the storyline never ends. Each book is ridiculously short and there is no group deal as the story is still ongoing as of the date of this post. For the cost to read this series you would think this author would employ her skills in editing her multiple books by spell checking. Other than that, I did like the book(s), but I can't like the author who intentionally rips off the customer.

Confused

I'm a little confused. According to the author, this is a republish. Was it hers? Another author? Where's the original? I'd be interested to read that next to the republish. Honestly in trigger by the story. I'm nervous this will drag in to multiple small stories instead of one longer book or even a short series based on the authors previous works. As long as they come out in a timely manner I won't complain though. Still interested to see where this story leads.

No End in Sight

Awesome writer but this series ends at book four on a cliffhanger. It has been almost a year with no mention of book five.

I read “books” 1-4. What a joke as it’s more like reading 1-2 chapters at a time. Thought the conclusion would be book 4 but it’s just another tired cliffhanger. And although the story initially had a lot of potential, it’s so repetitive with the same old tired lines from her begging him to let her in, answer questions, him refusing but demanding she “trust” him, then punishing her for weird transgressions like saying hello to someone who says hello to her, telling her she’s free to go and in the next breath saying she can’t leave and punishing her for wanting to go, her continuing to say she’s leaving him, over and over and over. Interspersed with the repetitive BS there are interesting tidbits and gets lots that’s left unexplained. This could have been a good book but you can tell the only thing this author is interested in is drawing it out to make more money. It appears that the original unfinished book has now been re-released. It’s now called Property of the Billionaire and is broken into 15 books. Yep 15. At $2.99 each that’s $45 to get the whole story (I’m not even sure that it is the whole story or perhaps there are another 15 books in the series??). No thanks. From reading other reviews, this seems to be a trademark for this author. I’ll be steering clear of her.

(father gives his daughter to the H for a week to cover a gambling debt, daughter had been abused by mother who had a doctor perform surgeries on her believing she had bone cancer, H also has mysterious scars)

This book had potential. Innocent college student, hot sexy dominant male. Bad father that used his daughter as collateral to get out of trouble. While this story has a few cliches, it did have some exciting moments and come very sexy panty dropping lines. It was just such a shame that there was little character development and therefore hard to fall in love with its characters.

The hero was ultra sexy, dominate, CEO, no holds bared time of guy. Definitely man of my dreams kind of guy.

The heroine was very real, insecure, issues type of girl we can all relate to.

If only a little more work was put into the storyline I'm sure id have given it a 5 star rating.

In a completely guilty pleasure, over the top un-PC way this story is highly entertaining and delicious. I liked that the hero didn't turn into a milksop after abducting the heroine and using her to pay off her father's debt. There is darkness and mild dub-con, non-con content but it's well done. I need the third part .... like NOW. I hate reading stories with cliffhangers. Usually, I always wait until all books are published. B-
PS: The only thing that really bugged me was the sex without protection. One does not play with a child's life like that. I hate insta-impregnation stuff. (though the heroine is not pregnant by the end of part two).

O really liked this series but I don't like to have to wait to get the next book please write complete books. The way books are written in chapters is a good way to loose for fans it's a real good way to motivate readers to look for authors who write complete novels and never look at your books again.

I do like reading Hannah's books which are steamy and quick reads. Due to the length of them, they do end on cliffhangers, so I'd prefer to see a longer book rather than multiple little ones, but I still love the stories.

This book has left me wanting more already!!

I received a complimentary copy of the book and I'm leaving a voluntary and honest review.

Repeatedly stating

facts do not make a story. I couldn't finish do to rereading "you kidnapped me" over and over. Plus facts weren't consistent. Since they are repeated they should be the same.

Dark obsession

Interesting read with a good plot, just hoping it doesn't take too many books to discover what is really going on.

Very very hot but kind of a slow boring story line. The sex sounds kinky and hot as hell though.

A wild ride this book starts off on. I felt Emery was little easy to give in to Liam. It made for interesting story.

I started reading this series back when it first came out. I am so glad to learn more about Liam and Emery. Still, there are so many questions that I cannot wait to get answers to. What'should Liam'seems secret past? How is it connected with Dean? Looking forward to the next installment. I received an ARC in exchange for an honest and voluntary review.

This book!! Started and finished it in one night. I loved this book! Liam, most definitely, has my heart with all his alphaness, and there's a lot of it. And Emery, she's the best. I love her transition but she still has that mouth that she shouldn't get rid of. There's so much more going on in the book that I can't wait to find out about! Her dad, her friend, her apartment, her classes! I just loved this book! The ending has me craving more and I can't wait until the second book comes out. You won't be disappointed. This book had my emotions all over and excited at the same time. Love love love this book and you will too!!!

Hmm...

Didn't know if I was gonna be into this story once I started. As I kept reading, I needed to know what would happen next and what the voice in her head would tell her. By the end, I couldn't wait to read the next novel.

Can't Wait For The Next Book

OMG I love this book. So excited that you have done it as longer books than the shorts you usually write. I also volunteered to read an ARC to give an honest review.
