Because I have already purchased each of these books individually, I am only sharing the reviews. Author Lee Savino has opened a new world of erotic shifters, Berserkers. I love the series and wait anxiously for the next book to follow. What an awesome collection all together in this box set. This is ideal if you haven't already purchased and read the books.
Sold to the Berserkers: A Menage Shifter Romance
DESTRUCTION OR SALVATION
The story is an intriguing tale of a group of Berserkers, nomad warriors, which in fact are cursed wolf shifters. They have been told by a witch to look for a girl with the mark of the wolf. Once they spot her in the village, they make it their mission to own her.
Brenna is mute after being attacked by an animal, that bit and scarred her neck. Her cruel, lecherous stepfather has sold her to a band of passing warriors. They are large men, and she is frightened of them, but they approach her and speak kindly to her.
The tale is the beginning of a series where Brenna will become a mate to two Berserker men, Daegan and Samuel, pack leaders. What some may call cursed, together they will bind together and strengthen each other. The story is a ménage à trios shifter story, with some mild spanking, multiple claiming, and explicit sex scenes. Sometimes, what seems like a twisted fate, can truly be a saving grace. When evil receives their comeuppance, Brenna will be able to move on with her future.

The second part of this tale has trouble brewing with another Berserker Clan, and they know about Brenna and want her for themselves. Berserkers are not full were, they have magic mixed in and are sometimes controlled by the beast within. They need a mate, and when they learn of Brenna, it becomes a war of clans. “A true mate means three things: they can bond with us. Survive a mating bite. And can conceive.”
Brenna has a strength that can sooth the savage beast that lives inside of Samuel and Daegan. Slowly she is learning to trust and submit to her mates, but the process comes with conflicts along the way. “So fragile. So delicate…and yet you are stronger than us all. Your frailty calls to our beast turns our brutal beast into a protector.”
The tale becomes a battle of good versus evil, and which beast that lives inside them will be the victory and what will be the cost? Does Brenna have magic around her, like Samuel’s mother did? The witch, seems to think so, but is she to be trusted? The story is explicit is sex scenes, including multiple scenes of ménage à trois between Brenna, Samuel, and Daegan. There are also scenes of violence. I look forward to book three, and the final installment in this series, Bred to the Berserkers.

Breena and Sabine will reunite and see each other, and Sabine has visited with her twin sisters, held by the same clan she is with. Sabine will battle within herself for control. Can Brenna truly be happy with her warriors, she has mated and is carrying their offspring. Her inner battle is her worse enemy.
Will Sabine realize that “freedom is an illusion?” That the path she makes, the men she allows to claim her, and the choices she makes, grants her a power stronger than she can fully understand. “Your submission is power.” There is a special and unique bond between Sabine, Maddox, and Ragnvold, granted by the goddess. “The magic is deep inside the most devoted priestess, pure of heart. Let it sleep. We’re part wolf, part man, and part pure, raging desire. We call that part the beast.”
The plot will bring about a battle, first among the two packs, then in a game of brute strength, and when Wulfgar wins Muriel, learning that there are more secrets, that he has a warrior bond with Fergus. The battle is not over; more challenges will be issued. Muriel will have to decide, “Will you choose love or fear?” Can she submit to her mates and will they be able to form a bond? “Secrets and lies and lack of trust. The story is an ongoing series, and yes, it could read as a standalone, but because of it in a continuation of the entire saga, would be best to be read in written order. The Berserker, are curse nomad warriors, that are a cross between men, wolves and inside them, a monster that needs to be tamed. For this survival, they need mates, and spaewives, also known as hedge witches, are the balm to sooth the beast.
Fleur’s three sisters, and her twin, Muriel, Brenna, Sabine, have all been claimed by men, and now it is time for Fleur to take a mate, or maybe as her sisters, bonded mates. Instead of a contest to win her, as what happened with Muriel, they tell her she can pick. What happens when she makes her choice known, and they tell her that it can’t happen?

You are going to love this Saga, to read every single one in one sit is a treat I read every one of them as they published and I can tell you, there was not a moment that was not suspenseful, even the passion is suspenseful!
These Viking, Norse and even Slave Warriors were cursed thousands of years ago to fight for a power hungry king. They live with two beings, the wolf and the beast, they are feared and invincible. They cannot even have a mate to calm the beast, until they discover from a witch that there is indeed a mate that can calm a Bereserker, a very special woman with magic, a spaewife.
Thus begins the search for their mate in the hope of calming their beast and living in some semblance of peace. But the Berserker must always dominate.
I love these Berserker stories so much that I started reading the next part if this great Saga yesterday.
These Viking, Norse and even Slave Warriors were cursed thousands of years ago to fight for a power hungry king. They live with two beings, the wolf and the beast, they are feared and invincible. Kept reading...but not sure why
I finished...many doubts why. This was a wash, rinse, repeat saga with plenty of spankings and punishments. Not my thing. The ménage parts were hot but even they got repetitive. The first two books did not really like. The last were better more plot then spanking and sex.

Best Beserkers
The Beserker warriors are amazing to read. Lots of history, their mates are sweet and a little sassy, and I love the idea of the Corpse King.

Brenna is mute after being attacked by an animal, that bit and scarred her neck. Her cruel, lecherous stepfather has sold her to a band of passing warriors. They are large men, and she is frightened of them, but they approach her and speak kindly to her.
The tale is the beginning of a series where Brenna will become a mate to two Berserker men, Daegan and Samuel, pack leaders. What some may call cursed, together they will bind together and strengthen each other. The story is a ménage à trios shifter story, with some mild spanking, multiple claiming, and explicit sex scenes. Sometimes, what seems like a twisted fate, can truly be a saving grace. Brenna has a strength that can soothe the savage beast that lives inside of Samuel and Daegan. This was a very good PNR shifter box set based on the Berserker legends, half man half wolf, cursed by a witch that turns them into the Beast, a thing of rage that will kill anything in its path. Cursed to become the Beast and loose themselves to madness unless they can find their true mate, who is able to calm the Beast and keep them sane. This is the story of 4 sisters, Brenna, Sabine, Muriel and her twin Fleur and their Berserker mates! Spanking, claiming and explicit scenes are prevalent throughout this series.

Brenna was attacked by a wolf as a child, it left her scarred and mute. Abused and mistreated by her stepfather, she is sold to a band of travelling warriors for coin. The warriors are Berserkers who have been watching her for a while, having been told by a witch that their mate bears the scars of a wolf. She is taken back to their encampment, frightened and unable to communicate them, yet she finds that she is treated well and cared for. Samuel and Daegan are the pack masters, joined in a brother bond they lend each other their strength as well as keeping the pack together. Reviews for the whole Berserker Saga.
Steamy menge scenes. Love that the W was the focus and cared for and not degraded.
Overall, I was very surprised at the depth of the storyline especially as you finally came to the that really isn’t the end. Not a cliff hanging end just left more to be read if you so please.
There some heavy play (bdsm) and kink so be prepared.
- “Sold” was great I wish it had a little more to the back story leading up to the sold part, but the storyline does a great job filling in the gaps. Otherwise this books gets right into it.
Not sure where the degradation that other reviews talk about - unless the author rewrote the whole story. She really was not left w/o clothes so much as they keep ripping it off her with eyes of passion and they loved having her naked. They provided for her very well otherwise.
They never chained her to keep her against her will. They do restrict her movements for other reasons. 😉
She is not allowed to leave their safe haven for her own protection from others in the tribe who would take and use her for their own pleasure.
Also, not sure what reviewers expect h to do - she’s mute with no expectation of being rescued, lives in a remote community on an island, and for the theoretical time period it’s not like she can run away and expect a heck of a lot of help.
h had to be resigned to her fate until she could figure out something better, but she ended up falling love with two guys who did show a heck of a lot more care and love than where she came from.
The following books “Mated” and “Bred” were great as well. So, so happy the author found a voice for her.

Some reviewers felt “Mated” left thing hanging which is why the author wrote the novella “Bred”. I didn’t think there was anything left hanging and didn’t need the novella, but the author wrote it well so glad it came about.
“Taken” I liked the least was short, rather repetitive. Almost a forced book to keep the overall storyline of the series going. The author needed a link for the end to work.
“Given” was a little better than “Taken” I think I liked the action in this story and the bully finally being put in place. The foreplay in this book did get pretty risky. Otherwise another quick story to keep the storyline moving.
“Claimed” making the youngest and weakest sister the strongest was fabulous turn off events. Liked this story as well.
What I didn’t like was the absence of Brenna in the “Taken”, “Given”, and “Claimed” books. Every time I felt she would be there or should have been there she wasn’t.
I’m not sure if I will move into the Berserker Brides series. In my mind the storyline is complete. That reading these books is for filler and straight up for the heavy sex play.

This five book Berserker saga is full of high drama, action and adventure, mysticism, fantasy, violence and gore and romance, of course, involving four sisters who are taken and introduced into the Berserker style of living. All the stories are well written and captivate the reader`s interest.
1. Sold to the Berserkers
The main female character has a past history of abuse and trauma. The story is gruesome and violent in parts but overall this is a love story; exceedingly sensual story with much steam. This is a well written short story that flows well. I found it enjoyable.
2. Mated to the Berserkers
The main female character is indoctrinated into the life style of the Berserkers. She has some difficulties adjusting to their mores and suffers the consequences of her actions. Again this story is very engaging with great characterizations. Another enjoyable read.
3. Taken by the Berserkers

This novel is even more gruesome in spots than her sisters`stories and is very sexual in nature. The fantasy and mystical elements to the whole Berserker saga still about in this novel. A good read.

As with Muriel, Fleur`s twin sister, Fleur was taken to mate with the Berserkers but to also protect her. Muriel`s potential mate had to compete for her. Fleur was given the option to make her own selection. Unfortunately, who she was friendly with were deemed to be inappropriate as mates. As a result she was claimed and taken by her mates away from the pack. She too learned the ways of the Berserkers. Fleur`s story has not only the layer of mysticism to it that the previous novels had but this novel also has shadowy evil. A very intricately woven fantasy tale. Ms. Savino you have a great and vivid imagination!
Excellent reading for mature audiences. Well worth the time to indulge in a reading spree of this saga.

The main female character has a past history of abuse and trauma. The story is gruesome and violent in parts but overall this is a love story; exceedingly sensual story with much steam. This is a well written short story that flows well. I found it enjoyable.
2. Mated to the Berserkers
The main female character is indoctrinated into the life style of the Berserkers. She has some difficulties adjusting to their mores and suffers the consequences of her actions. Again this story is very engaging with great characterizations. Another enjoyable read.

Wonderful series by Lee Savino!! I am looking forward to every addition to the series!
I really loved reading the first five books in the series in one volume! These should be read in order, especially the first two as they are about the same bond mates. While the rest could be considered standalones, there would be too much missed and discussed from the earlier books, that they should be read in order for maximum pleasure.
As to content, there are quite a few things that could be triggers for some, including but not limited to: adult language, lots of violence such as kidnapping (most are considered greater good, but not all), spankings, punishments, submission (willing and forced), fighting / assault, and death. If any of these are triggers for you, then these are not the books for you.
The main part of the story surrounds a group of sisters that are natural, earth-bound witches known as spaewives. They are sold and taken by a group of men cursed by magical witches to house a dangerous beast. These men can take on the form of a wolf, but when they lose control, or fighting, they can take on the form of the beast and then nothing is safe. These men were hired by various kings throughout the lands to either defend their territory, or expand it. This magical third form makes them pretty much invisible, but it also extracts a toll as all magic does, and over the last few centuries, has consumed their humanity. This is the greatest threat of all to their packs, since they struggle with controlling their inner beasts. Then they consult a witch and she tells them there is a woman that would soothe them and allow them to control themselves so they could have a chance at a normal life.
The first woman, Brenna, is sold to the alphas of the Highland pack by her stepfather when she no longer lets him molest her without fighting back. Once the pack sees that the prophecy is true, word spreads to the Lowland Pack, and her sisters are taken.
I don't want to give anything away, so I am going to stop there, and hope that you love it as much as I do. Very good series and I am seriously looking forward to any new additions to the series.

This is the first book I read in the series – and I was never confused, and was quickly pulled completely into the story. The only side-effect is now I feel compelled to read all the previous stories as this was a thoroughly entertaining and high-heat read!!
A competition between and Highland Pack and the Lowland Pack will result in Muriel being claimed by the winning Berserker. Her sisters have each mated the alphas of these packs creating a mated trio. The suspense builds as each berserker falls and a victor is closer to being chosen. .
Muriel has much to learn, as a Berserker is kept in check by having his mate obey – and there are consequences for not doing so. Suspense, Magic, betrayal and scintillating relationships create an exciting story.

* do not buy this book. Thank the lord it was a KU read. I couldn’t finish. I got through the beginning of the first book and into the second and I just realized this series kinda sucks. I’m all about dominant male leads but this is Stockholm syndrome. And claiming the female is wet is what the author seems to feel is her version of consent. The guys bought her, refer to her as mate, but purposely keep her unclothed so that she can’t run off. They won’t allow her to leave their cave and it’s just a bunch of sex scenes. They had even threatened to keep her locked to the bed. And even blatantly said that the reason they keep her unclothed is so she isn’t comfortable to move around outside of the bedchamber. And when they gave her clothes she became too bold (she went to the mouth of the cave, and caused a stir)I just can’t get with that. That’s mental abuse. It’s conditioning that I just can’t get on board with. There’s a difference between bdsm and mental/physical abuse and that line was crossed. They completely objectify her. Which is fine if you’re into that stuff, but add to it the story is so slow to pick up this just isn’t a series that seems worth it when there are so many better ones out there. There are so many ways to portray men who are super alpha and dominant without the garbagey way this author did.

A delightful, hot read!
I really, really loved this! A paranormal romance with wolf shifters that are not born but created with magic. But great power comes with a price. Without their mates to ground them, they become bloodthirsty beasts. So, they fight against the clock. Their mates are not mare humans, though. They are spaewives, humans with some kind of natural, earth magic. This Volume contains the first 5 books, with the stories of four sisters, Brenna (the first two books), Sabine and the twins Muriel and Fleur. There is also an extra book you can download for free about Brenna. Each sister meets her mates and it is scorching hot to say at least. I can’t decide who I liked the most, because they were all amazing in their own right (the girls and their hotter than hell mates). Three out of four stories are ménage, one an HR. There is an exciting ongoing general plot within the books, so I recommend reading them in order. There was action, danger, mystery, revelations, a very powerful villain – the list goes on and on. I enjoyed every word and couldn’t put my kindle down. If you are into these kind of paranormal stories, this is definitely a book (or five) for you. 5 stars

Excellent from start to finish
It all starts when Brenna’s lecherous stepfather sells her to two berserkers. Unable to speak and teased and brutalized for as long as she could remember, her buyers were the first to show her kindness. She wanted to surrender to her feelings and embrace the love she was given but not without making sure her sisters didn’t have to suffer like she had. There was so much world building and Brenna and her mates definitely deserved three books. Next we met Sabine, the fearless healer who was loyal, independent, and completely averse to love and marriage. Next, the ever-dutiful, respectful Muriel. Her love match was different from that of her sisters so far. And Fleur, the smallest and youngest had the biggest surprise of all. It was awesome watching these women come into their power and thrive like they deserved. I truly enjoyed this saga up to now. It’s well written, full of surprises and plot twists, insightful, interesting, engaging, and impossible to put down. I can’t wait to see what happens next.

The Berserker saga puts all of the first books in one easy to read set. It lets you read all about Brenna, Sabine, Muriel, and Fleur and their mates all at once.
I love all the sisters and their stories, but I have to say that Muriel is my favorite. The way that her mates found her, and how tricky Fergus and Wolfgar are is just awesome. Out of all of the mates that these 4 sisters have managed to get, Wolfgar and Fergus are the ones I would choose myself.
Just because Muriel's story is my favorite doesn't mean that I don't like the rest. There is a scene in the second Brenna story that is just super hot. I'll never think about deerhide the same way again.
Fleur's story is perfect because she finds the mates who can actually protect her in the way that she needs to be protected.
There really isn't anything wrong with any of these stories and I can reread them over and over and over and over.

Smexy smexy smexy!
So very impressed with these books! I've been reading Lee Savino & Renee Rose's "Alpha" books & some of Lee's other writing, but I just didn't think I'd be interested in the Beserkers. Well, I love Lee, I was facing a week of recovery from back surgery, & a KU subscription. I decided to give the beasts a chance.
Here's what I discovered: Smexy isn't just a cute way to describe a writing style. These books are smart! If you pay attention, there's a wealth of history & culture in every one! At first I just figured out words I didn't know with context clues and moved on, but as I read I became so immersed in the Beserker culture, I started using the Kindle dictionary feature & even popping over to Wikipedia for peeks at artifacts & old world maps to further enhance my imagination!
As for sexy, hell yeah!

This was a fun and steamy series. I enjoyed the way the author developed each sister to have a different personality, and therefore different challenges with her mates. I enjoyed reading in this Middle Ages fantasy period of Scotland. I loved the shifter element of the men having man, wolf, and beast and how that influenced them. I also really enjoyed the subplot of an evil only the Berserkers could fight. I am excited to continue the series.

I enjoyed reading in this Middle Ages fantasy period of Scotland. I loved the shifter element of the men having man, wolf, and beast and how that influenced them. I also really enjoyed the subplot of an evil only the Berserkers could fight. I am excited to continue the series.

It's an erotica
Lots of sex with a semblance of a story. With a mute h, there's not much going on except a bunch off "I wish I could talk" scenarios being played through her head. We have a cruel stepfather with a pedophilia perversion, a group of overseers buying her, and she has sex with two of them the majority of the first book.
For a girl to have been protective of her family for so long, I find it hard to believe she forgets about them for the first month after she was sold. The string of synonyms for a man's member in two paragraphs was impressive, but not sexy. I started feeling like a giggly middle-schooler rather than feeling any semblance of hotness. I couldn't go further than the first book.

Just finished reading this saga and I’m very impressed with this series 1-5 it kept drawing me in with the strong women who needed a stronger man or two or three to help them be better than they where before and learn to love them back and the heat coming off the pages between them all I wish it was happening to me quite a few times. The man the wolf and the beast can be frightening at first but once the girls get to know there mates what’s not to love about and man that will love and cherish you and you body till you carn’t take know more, Lee Savino what an amazing writer you are and I’m looking forward to the next series. Would I recommend this book that’s a hell yes from me.

Amazing!
I loved this series sooooo much. Part historical, part supernatural, part fantasy, part suspense and a whole lot of romance.
It was absolutely beautiful. I'm so glad all the 4 sisters are mated and together with the berserkers. That they get to stay together and not torn apart.
I love almost all the berserkers, I can't even choose. I don't know how. I love each of them. I love all the sisters too. They're all unique in their own ways. They all have a unique power.
I can't wait to see what happens to All the orphans and the Corpse King. He is such bad news. Worse than I thought. I can't wait to read more.

Great read.
I really liked this series. It was not a usual shifter/paranormal/menage and was quite interesting.
The first 5 books are about four sisters. There is a bit of dark romance with kidnappings, purchases, etc but it is not heavy.
The relationships between the "warrior" brothers enhances the overall story.
If dominace/submission and strong characters and paranormal (shifters, curses, witches) are not your thing then you may not enjoy this series.
But if you do.....well, stop reading the review and start reading the series!

Enticing story - jumpy journey
The berserker story is enticing and set apart from other shifter books, in general I got into the story and enjoyed the cadence and writing style, but found the linking between big events and/ or characters lacking, there are many gaps to be filled in and loose ends. For instance, I would of liked to have a better understanding of the berserker curse and beasts and the spaewife sisters in the first book, as well as how the bond really works; there are snippets in each book but not wholistically. Jumpy journey.

A pack of wolf shifters who transform into raging, mindless warriors are in desperate need of a few spaewives, natural-born, magical women. These men treat these women just like b*tch mates and enforce strict rules with disturbingly sexy punishments. Berserkers
I didn't know what to expect but this was so much more than I thought it would be. What a wild first read into bereserkers! I absolutely loved this series an looking forward to reading the rest of the series! My favorite is Breanna. I think she was the strongest of the sisters. They were all great reads, I just couldn't get into Sabine she was just to off putting for me.

Wow what in blooming hell was that? There’s no words ... I read the first book a couple of years ago and finally I get to say how this saga rocks . The storyline keep me up till wee hours in the morn...
loved every nook and cranny covered with double lust and sexy naughty bits times 2 sex with muscle gods.
I recommend not only this set but I’m checking out the Berserker wives and babies .
