Published February 2017, Homo Deus takes New York Times Bestselling author Yuval Noah Harari's previous work Sapiens even further, discussing in detail humanity's future and our quest to turn humans into gods. Over the centuries, humans have evolved to incredible new heights and achievements, from stone age hunter-gatherers into rulers of the planet. But where are we going from here? For the first time, more humans are dying from eating too much instead of too little, from suicide instead of violence or war, from old age instead of infectious diseases. But that leaves humanity with the need to create new goals...and to make sure we don't destroy ourselves in the process of achieving those goals.

Bob's view.

Short, informative and covered a lot with efficiency and dispatch. The final chapter is too brief and needs to be expanded.
