In a very humbling way, I connected to Moses’ character. I like the way he and Teka kept running into each other, it was fate, their chemistry was good. The ending has my chest tight!!
Very good beginning to new series! Storyline held my attention. Moses is the man-he and Teka would make the ideal couple. Well written with good interactions between the characters. So ready to read more about these two.
Love where this story is headed can't wait for part two. Moses I need you for part 2 can't lose you now try doing the right thing. Love his heart and how sharing and caring he is. Excellent read Nako keep them coming.
I wasn't expecting this when I read the "about this book" section. This was such a good story. I'm hoping Moses and Teka get together permanently because they are so much alike. I like the spirituality of the story. Teka and Moses are grateful for their blessings and they work hard for what they get. Poor Moses needs to get his health issues in check before it's too late. Teak needs to learn how to communicate better because it really looks like she's playing games. It's going to be hard for them getting together since the live in different states but I'm rooting for them. Also, another good thing about the book is that it was proofread because you can see the cross outs. I appreciate that because numerous errors ear annoying to the reader. The author even warned us that it would be a three part series. I'm just sad that I have to wait for the next part. I'm a fan so I know it's gonna be good and worth the wait.
This is book is what I have come to expect from this author. Nako is a great author and is only getting better. I realize that no one likes to be compared to others; however, it is not always a bad thing. She has her own style, yet her intricate plots and well developed characters remind me of Ashley Antionette of the duo Ashley and JaQuavis. Moses and Teka are star-crossed, but are definitely destined. Moses is not what we normally see in the realm of Urban fiction. In in other words, "he is a big man" and we are used to reading about bosses with banging bodies; yet, Moses smooth and debonair swag puts him in a class all by himself. Teka seems as if life has dealt her more than her fair share of bullsh**t, but this "party" and her so called "best friend" has her questioning The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly. Hopefully, she and "Big Fine" a.k.a Moses can make something out of nothing. I look forward to the continuing of this journey in part 2.
It was refreshing to read something out of the norm.A.difference in characters from what we always read about. That's one of the things I love the most about Nako. Her writing skills are impeccable. She has easily crept to the top as one of my favorite characters.I can't wait for what's next!
This book was good from beginning to end. I couldn't put it down. I hope that Moses and Teka find their way back to each other. It seems that they were made for each other and they make each other better. Moses is so straight forward but he is a real man who needs a a help mate. I can't wait to read the next book. You did your thing with this one.
This may be my fave love story of yours. I liked thAt Teka was so straight forward. Mo is just a big lovable teddy bear. He's a gangsta & a gentleman. He tried so hard not to fall for Teka, but it was inevitable. I see their love blossoming into something GREAT!!! In to book 2! Good job Nako
Moses just how I like my men, big, street smart, intelligence and loving. I am rooting for him to find happiness. Teka deserves to find love and what better man than Big Mo. On to part 2. Thanks Nako for always sharing these hard to put down stories. You never disappoint.
This is a good story with a lot of depth to the characters. I read the Giselle book first before I knew about this book, so I kind of know what happens in the very end but this is good background on Moses and Teka. This copy must be the editor’s revisions because it had numerous track changes throughout. Might want to update the version soon.
This Urban love story differed from the usual drugs, fighting, and thirsty mess. Moses and Teka's story was a nontraditional tale. Moses was a big guy, tall and stocky; Teka was the opposite in many facets, and yet they needed to realize they were who the other person needed.
This book to me on a journey through some of my past! Your penmanship was perfect as always and the story line kept me glued to my phone!!! Nako you always know how to make me savor a story. Thanks for my mini escapes!!!
I was very impressed with these new characters and storyline. Nako has a way with words that pulls you right into her stories and leaves you anxiously anticipating more. Great job as always and I am very excited to see what's next for Moses and Teka.
I was really into this one. I wanted them both to win but I kept thinking one of them wasn’t going to make it. I thought their relationship would’ve moved faster but by the end I thought it was in an okay place. I can’t wait for the next one because I for sure hope it doesn’t end like this.
Teka and Moses play too much. She talking about all he gotta do is ask her, he asked the week before u lost ur job ugh. She’s the perfect person to make him eat right. They both need each other for salvation cuz She too lonely lol
I was hoping she would see the light with Moses but i guess things happen that way for a reason. There has to be a beginning for these two again in the future i can't not see it happening. Great start to another series.
One thing about Nako’s boom is they always have an underlining meaning or lesson! This book was meant for me to read after all these years. It's a good read, pick it up and read it now!
Wow so good Nako always a pleasure to read any of your series. Can't wait to see how Moses doing or if Teka got in touch with him. A blessing to read great story
I held off from reading this series because it hits so close to home. But I’m so glad I started it. Definitely potent word play and emotion driven. On to part two.
I don’t understand how I missed this series in Nako’s catalog, of course I know the characters but it’s beautiful to read their story. This book did not disappoint.
