This is a really good story in the diamond club series about a rich girl who is a diamond thief and a newly rich young man who is a ball player and just joined the diamond club. He forms an instant attraction to her and they start a relationship. He finds out being with her is full of complications. I enjoyed this story.
Logan and Drew shine in this romantic thriller. Logan is a new member of the Diamond Club having worked hard overcoming a less than ideal upbringing to become a nfl star. The first night at the club he locks eyes with Drew and sparks instantly fly. Drew is a bored rich girl who gets her thrills as a diamond thief. Their romantic road is paved with danger, passion and deception. I found myself quickly turning the pages hoping that Logan's kindness and goodness would prevail. This standalone is part of a multi author series featuring the elite Diamond Club. I highly recommend this novella!
Oh my! I loved these two characters! This installment to the Diamond Club series has a surprisingly engaging female thief and an absolutely yummy newly rich pro football player. They pass in the Diamond Club Lounge and are instantly attracted to each other. Together they are beyond smoking hot. Drew is likeable; even as a thief and Logan? He's my new book boyfriend. The writing is fast paced and suspenseful leading you to a lack of sleep as you are unable to put this down. I highly recommend this book to all mature readers.
I received a complimentary copy of this book for voluntary review consideration.
This story will grab your attention from the get go, with twists, suspense, mystery, danger, a little action and very hot steamy sex scenes. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.
Wow I loved Clarity. Drew and Logan had an immediate draw. She tried to stay away, but just couldn't. A story full of suspense, some mystery, passion, love, and finding the one. A great read.
Logan a man you wish you could actually meet. Drew a woman with way to much money and time on her hands. Clarity definitely kept me guessing what was going to happen.Which I must say I really enjoyed. I love when you can read a story and not guess it right away. You find yourself rooting for Logan and Drew which at first your like no way does Logan deserve a snobby rich girl like Drew. But then you learn to understand Drew better throughout the story and realize she needs a man like Logan. Who would have thought Logan could be such a good guy and a football player. In this world when you hear about sports guys you think of Logan's friend Tim that you meet in the book. Anyways I am glad I read Clarity it is a nice change to have a bad girl instead of always the bad boys.
This was a great and enjoyable read. The characters are well developed and relatable. The plot grabs your attention from the first page and doesn't let you go, it's fast paced and entertaining. A great standalone book that is part of a larger series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Another great adventure at the Diamond Club. This one has a slightly different angle from the previous books in this series. Drew has been a jewel thief for years, loving her escapades at the Diamond Club, but lately she has begun feeling a bit lonely and bored. Logan is a wide receiver for the Knights football team. As a new member of the Diamond Club, he happens to see the most beautiful, intriguing woman he has ever laid eyes on. One thing leads to another, a few sparks fly and Logan & Drew begin a relationship that swamps Drew with strange, puzzling emotions. While the football player and the jewel thief try to sort their feelings, trouble brews with her last heist and life becomes scary. Lots of thrilling action as a tangled, dangerous mess is resolved. Exciting and well worth the read. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Five stars.
I voluntarily received an Advanced readers copy of this book and must say it was just great. This is the first book I read by this author and well, it most certainly will not be the last. Almost from the beginning I was just captivated. The story line is just something that I clearly like very much, the good, the bad, the fame, the flame, the heat in the relationship, the tests etc. etc. ... What always irritates me in the Kindle for computers at least is the page break thing, that so often half of the page you were just reading is on the next page again, I don´t know why it is like this but so annoying. But the book was just great and for my taste, I think the best so far in the Diamond Club series :-)
Her parents were millionairs, and she lived her life of wealth and privilege. As the new running back for the Knights, he's worked hard for everything he has. She spends evenings at the Diamond Club, looking for adventure. He goes there for a great meal. Their eyes meet, will magic happen? Tasking chances has its costs. Getting in too deep may cost her everything, even her life. The author grabs you from page one. You want to see where Drew and Logan will go. I highly recommend this book
Football player meets thief! I didn't know if it was going to work because of how they were raised so different from each other. The writer worked it out lovely. The characters have depth and are easy to like. There is a problem that they have to figure out and with the help of a few friends, and finding each other, they just might have the chance. I really loved the book, it is a must read....
If you like your romance stories fast paced and filled with mystery, suspense, danger, twists, romance, drama, excitement, and hot steamy sex scenes, then check out Clarity (The Diamond Club) by Sharon Coady. It's well written with great characters and an intriguing storyline.
I volunteered to review an advanced readers copy of this book.
This is a sweet romantic suspense. Drew is a born socialite who is stealing jewels for a thrill. Logan is a self-made athlete who is not pretentious and new to money. They are both likable characters. I also enjoyed the story. I do wish the end had been a little more flushed out. I will be looking forward to more books from Ms. Coady.
Once you get started you can't put it down. You can never guess what is coming next but you didn't expect it. The writer pulls you in and you just want more. Excellent story line. Amazing cover. You won't be sorry you bought it. Can't wait to read more by this author.
I really enjoyed this instalment in The Diamond Club Series. Drew is a super rich, bored young woman, who also happens to be a jewel thief! Logan has had a hard upbringing and now as a successful NFL player, has money. With twists, mystery, drama, and passion, this is a great read!!
Drew and Logan- what an interesting couple. This fast paced romantic suspense Includes interactions, suspense, intrigue, deceit, emotions, chemistry, and twists. One I found to grab my interest from beginning to end
The author really grabbed me from the start of this amazing book. These characters are so well developed and likable. When you enter the world of the Diamond Club and peek into the lives of the rich there are things going on that you would never believe. I love how strong the female character is in this book. And why are there not more men in the world like Logan? Sexy, romantic and honest all rolled into one. This book will grab you and you won't want to put it down.
I obviously read a different book to everyone else.
I found Drew a very distant character and just never connected to her. I think she was meant to come off as aloof but she was just cold and weird. I didn't care that her mark seemed to be making threats - she HAD stolen from him and as a rich woman had no reason for having done so.
Logan was a lovely guy but far too weak and wimpy -a nice guy but a bit too much of a doormat. I could get that his poor background made him humble but he was now a big shot football star with the mindset of a middle-aged, boring, couch potato.
I felt the chemistry from Logan's side, he was the much better written character, but from Drew it just felt fake. Perhaps the story picked up but I gave up just over half way through as I STILL didn't really know what the story line of the book was. And I only got that far because I skimmed pages but when it starts taking effort to read a book I know it isn't for me.
The pace was just too slow and meandering, the characters felt flat and the half of the book I read was repetitive and went round in circles without really building anything into the plot.
Clarity was a good read. The story entertaining and a page turner with great characters. I will say I was not expecting the surprise Scott had for Drew. Loved Logan's character and that he didn't let money change him. I enjoyed reading this story and this was my first book by Sharon Coady.
Very interesting and sweet book between a rich woman who gets her kicks stealing jewels and an honest-to-goodness wholesome and innocent football player. Drew gets in over her head when a heist goes sort of wrong--not the heist itself, but the mark. Even though she portrays herself as a tough and cold woman, she has a soft spot inside and Logan is the man who gets that side of her to come out. He's almost too good to be true though, a real sweetheart who wants a genuine relationship, is considerate and honorable, friendly and compassionate.
Most of the time, I felt Logan was too good for Drew. Despite all her wealth and the trappings of her wealth, she was empty inside and not exactly appealing in the way she dealt with people. But because of Logan, she was slowly coming out of her shell. What annoyed me was the amount of giggling she did, which made me feel she wasn't as composed as she made herself appear to be.
