Zuri is a beautiful dark skinned young woman. With the world at her feet. Graduating from college at the top of her class nothing but good things were going her way. But with the past still lingering she has a difficult time fighting her demons. And the urge to kill. Being raised in a home of nothing but death she wanted desperately to change the lifestyle that she once thought was normal. Everything was going well until a tall, dark baldheaded man by the name of Izaak came into her life. The type of man that she swore up and down that she would never be involved with. But at her weakest moments, he slipped into her life. She fell head over heals in love with him and will do any and everything to keep him, even if it means killing off her competition. Izaak is a notorious hit man. He didn’t believe in love. Love only slowed you down or got you killed. Until the day that he met Zuri. All his thoughts on what love meant was thrown out of the window when Zuri stumbled into his life. When he looked into her eyes, all he could see was beauty and innocence. But he was terribly mistaken. She was nowhere near innocent. She was meant to be feared. People took her soft-spoken kind hearted as weakness. But they will soon learn that Zuri is someone that they should worry about.
This book is not for the faint of heart or those who have weak stomachs. This is gore at it's best. I don't know who was the goriest between Zuri, Izaak, or Kent. They all take killing to a whole new level. Poor Zuri was doomed to a life of killing from childhood, watching her father. It's such a shame that a very well educated person allowed the demons of her past take over her present. Izaak brought out the worst in her and now that Kent is gone, it's about to get real. #VIPLiteraryReviews
MZkweenie gives you no opportunity to run and hide. The moment you turn the first page the sick and TWISTED game of this book begins. As much as you want to stop you can't put it down. You must know what happens next. IF THIS WERE A MOVIE IT WOULD GET A 98% ON ROTTEN TOMATOES AND 2 RHUMBS UP FROM SISCAL AND EBERT.
