Interesting ideas in this short story, but the execution is severely lacking. This is poorly written. The plot moves along at an abrupt pace. The dialogue is unnatural and rather blunt. For instance, I love the idea of a female vampire using glamour on an unsuspecting nurse, but there's no real seduction. It goes like this:

'Suddenly, Kristen was face to face with the patient, who then grabbed her and kissed her passionately. Kristen was caught off guard and began to kiss her back. As Violet pulled back and stared into Kristen's eyes she said, "Kristen, please call me Violet. I can see that you are tired. Get plenty of sleep tonight. I will call you in the morning. You will do whatever I tell you just to keep me happy. Understand?"

That's the glamour.

Later the way Violet gets down is this:

"Turn around so I can see all of you"

"Now lay on the bed," Violet commanded

"Lay still and enjoy it," Violet requested.

Kristen's state of arousal was such that it was burning hot. Kristen was aware of Violet's lick, suck and bite as Kristen passed out once more.

Yikes.

Then basically they start a relationship based on this glamour, and Kristen doesn't remember anything because she's been in a glamour haze. Violet comes across as an abusive jerk. Also lame, because vampires shouldn't have to rely so heavily on glamour to get laid or have a relationship.

This short story shouldn't be up for sale on Amazon right now imo. I think the writers have good ideas, and that they should practice their craft on websites where they can get feedback, such as Wattpad, Fictionpress, or Archive of Our Own.

This story was a good start but I felt it needed to be expanded a lot more. The idea was there but I felt it wasn't executed as well as it could be. It was a short read but it was bam bam bam and I had to keep re-reading to make sure I didn't miss something as it didn't seem to flow right.

Ok

I really enjoyed the first story. The rest although good wasn't in the genre I picked this up in. So yeah kinda disappointed. But well written.
