Her fated mate can’t claim her. But she’ll show him what they could have.
Mitchell already watched one mate die. He won’t do it again, so he refuses the bond.
Only fate has other plans, and he can’t help but fall for Dawn and watch her thrive in this new world.
Dawn grew up in shadow but that only made her stronger. She will fight for her mate because she knows though he’s the dominant wolf, she’s strong enough for them both.
There is a new enemy coming for them, one that wants the power the Talon Pack has amassed. They will stop at nothing to destroy them.
But Mitchell and Dawn will fight for their people.

Wow. Equal parts sexy, heartwarming, heartbreaking and eerie creepy crawly darkness. Carrie ann ryan has definitely hit it out of the ballpark with the story of Mitchell and Dawn.
Mitchell you will really feel so much for. He has gone through alot and his devotion to the love he once had is heartbreaking. He takes it to a stubborn level. But he is also kind and caring, loyal and fierce. He comes off as a baddy and he is to an extent. But he is also a teddy bear. He protects his pack with all that he is and respects other packs as well. I love how he helps Dawn’s pack to start to become one that is accepted. His attraction to Dawn is felt in every page and so is his struggle within with that attraction.
Dawn is adorable and strong. Very independent and loving. She gives to others before thinking of herself. You see her struggle with finding a place within her pack because of who her wolf is but you also see that nurturing side shine through. She in the beginning also fight her attraction to Mitchell but not as much as he does. She is so understanding when she finds out what is holding him back and supports his healing process. In fact I think she helps him heal and move on. Especially when the eerie darkness takes hold.
The darkness and creepiness that is in the air just puts your hair on end. Mitchell senses something is amiss and it worries him. Suddenly danger is seen and it is odd because they are supposed to be in a time of peace. but now people are being attacked by rogues that seem to be working together something you don’t normally see. Or not working together but seem to be controlled by something. Very eerie. No one knows what is going on or why?
The romance starts out as a needing to work through the attraction and becomes more. Even though neither wants this. Dawn is trying to find her way and Mitchell has guilt and sadness. He is healing and forgiving himself with Dawn’s help. When danger comes right to Dawn is when you see the love of Mitchell’s come through and Dawn gain what her wolf needs. Love and acceptance. She finds her home and her mate. And so does Mitchell.
Ms. Ryan tantalizes us with hints throughout out the story that have you on the edge but still not truly knowing what is going on. the whole picture is never really known. Even at the end we truly don’t know all the plan of the evil that is to come. We know that these packs are in for some hard rough sails and that they will be tested. We see that there is more than meets the eye out there and learn some jaw dropping secrets. She does a good job of creating a scintillating tale that keeps you on your toes.
I struggled to find a book to end the year on a good note - so I'm glad I found this one. I've read one other book of this author's a while back but I didn't like it. But this one, I really liked :) Will have to read some more from this series in the new year :)
I have been anxiously waiting to read “Destiny Disgraced” and it didn’t disappoint. I loved getting to know more about Mitchell’s back story and it was heart breaking. And I loved how Dawn and he finally gave in to what their hearts had already decided for them. I did see the “twist” coming and I can’t wait to see what happens next. I am definitely looking forward to Walker and Aimee’s story next and what is coming for the shifters. I was hoping the next book would be Max’s but maybe his will be after Walker’s, he definitely needs a book. If you are looking for action, intrigue and steam, “Destiny Disgraced” is the book for you, it can be read as a stand alone (you won’t be lost) but to get a better feeling of the shifter world Ms Ryan has created, the others should be read before hand.
I voluntarily received an ARC of this book from the author for an honest review.
The only reason I only gave this one 3 stars was because I was sick of Mitchell bringing up Heather his first mate who never really excepted his wolf or wanted nothing to do with that part of his life. To me that was a slap in the face for who he was and something she was ashamed of, can't see why he would mourn her like he did.😏 Dawn I really liked who seemed very caring but lost without a true purpose, she did kick ass when it came to it and was a good match for Mitchell.😉
Mitchell, the Talon Pack's Beta, knows how people see him, and it's exactly what he wants them to. He loves his family, but he prefers to keep part of himself back, the part that doesn't want to get hurt again. He's lived through loss once, albeit decades ago, and doesn't want to experience it ever again. Even with Dawn, the woman he can't stop thinking about, craving, kissing...
Dawn, a maternal dominant, though born after the war responsible for destroying her people, has resigned herself to paying for their sins, nonetheless. Now, as she's adapting to a world where humans and wolves co-exist, she must overcome the obstacle, Mitchell, preventing her from forging her own way.
Though they've never actually talked before today, due to Mitchell's avoidance of her, he has helped her brother, Cole, bound to become Alpha when their pack is official, before. He annoys her, and she doesn't know why, but she does know how attractive she finds him, in spite of it. A little each day though, as Dawn's true calling of caring for children goes unneeded, her sadness grows.
When Mitchell finally speaks to her, though it was only one word, her name, the change it brings out in him is a shock. No longer does he picture Heather, the woman he lost, during his self-exploration, he suddenly fantasizes about Dawn, the woman he's avoided for a year, and feels guilty immediately afterward.
As the two begin spending more time together, neither expected the chemistry that burns brightly between them, nor the inability to resist it. But Mitchell believes he had his one chance at a future, only to lose her, and the glimpse he'd been given of happiness, tragically, and his wolf still feels that bond, even though it was severed when she died. Which means his attraction to Dawn feels as if he's betraying Heather. As for Dawn, though the moon goddess doesn't yet recognize her pack, nor does many others, they are rebuilding, eager to eradicate the taint associated with their history.
But as the attraction between them grows with each encounter, Mitchell accepts what his wolf has been trying to tell him...Dawn could be his mate, yet he refuses to do anything about it.
Will Mitchell let go of his past long enough to realize Dawn is his future? Who is behind the attacks? Why do they seem so focused on Dawn as the target? Can Mitchell keep her safe? If not, will he lose his chance at a HEA just as he's discovering his feelings for Dawn?
One-click now and follow along as two people finally take a chance on what could be. Psst...for those, like me, that are safety conscious, Mitchell has been celibate for a long time.
**I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.**
Destiny Disgraced (Talon Pack, #6) by Carrie Ann Ryan Carrie Ann Ryan’s DESTINY DISGRACED is an exalted addition to the Talon Pack series. Beta of the Talon Pack, Mitchell Brentwood and Central Pack maternal dominant, Dawn Levin, have different reason for trying to fight their attraction to one another. However, unexpected circumstances keep throwing them together. This contemporary PNR is suitable for adult audiences.Carrie Ann Ryan continues to do an admiral job with her character development. I really like Mitchell. My heart broke for what he went through. He kept a major burden to himself for a long time. It is understandable why he kept Dawn at arm’s length. Dawn is a sweet character you cannot help to adore. She is strong and nurturing. She is young and hard working. She has some great friends. They are good for each other, making each other stronger. I love the dynamics between the individuals and their wolves. The plot was exciting and skillfully executed. There are some interesting things going on with the Aspen Pack. DESTINY DISGRACED was thought-provoking and thrilling throughout. I’m looking forward to Walker’s and Aimee’s story. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
WOW! This series just keeps getting better. New surprises on almost every page give hope for future great reads as well. This story features a couple that will pull at your heart strings in the very best way. Love, action and intrigue at its very best.
Mitchell is the Beta of the Talon pack and Dawn a she wolf from Central pack. Life is about to get rocky now and a new pack formed as Dawn and Mitchell find there place and maybe a mating.
Carrie Ann Ryan is one of those authors that i absolutely love to follow her releases because no matter what she prints, you know you're in for a treat, and that's exactly what i got when i picked up Destiny Disgraced. Mind you, i haven't read all of the instalments in the Talon Pack series, but what i like about this author is that you can start at any point of the series and still get so immersed in the story that you forget that you missed some parts.
4.5 sexy dreams
One of the things that i love about Carrie Ann Ryan's books is that no matter what kind of genre she writes, there's always something that i can relate to in her books. This story had a little bit of everything that kept me hooked from the very beginning, wondering just how two neighboring wolf shifters from warring packs will overcome their differences and the hate they were taught to indulge ever since their childhood. All this while trying to come to terms with their feelings for one another! I love how i fall into this author's books as though it was a second skin and can't wait to fall into her next books.
*Disclaimer: I received an eARC of this book from InkSlinger PR in exchange for an honest review. This does not influence my rating or the content of my review in any way.
It seems that I've been on a roll lately discovering paranormal series that I need to read ASAP and that's making me super happy. I've only read Carrie Ann Ryan's contemporary books, and I am happy that I decided to try out more of her work.
As I said before, I love to see how each author describes the myth of the shifters, and while I don't know the full explanation included in the Redwood Pack/Talon Pack series, I liked what little I got to read about in Destiny Disgraced. The idea that there's an outside force, called the moon goddess, that blesses shifters with the mating and pack bonds was really interesting and new. I liked the fact that just because they received the blessing of the moon goddess didn't mean that they couldn't lose it, although some stuff revealed during the book makes me wonder about the motivation of this moon goddess. I am hoping she'll reveal herself during the next few books.
I also liked the whole mating concept. It wasn't the usual approach I've read time and again, which was really nice, and I loved the idea that Ryan introduced in her book. I'm very curious about how triads work, so I'm really keeping my fingers crossed that I'll read about that once I get to read the earlier books.
Mitchell was an interesting hero. His full story and his reasons for staying away from Dawn are revealed little by little during the story, but once you learn the full story, you can completely understand his struggle with this mating bond. It was tragic to read about, and you can tell that he has the potential of being a much stronger male, but because of his past, because of what he went through, he's truly scarred and hurt. And I found it truly amazing and it made my nerdy side really happy to see that some details from the cover of the book not only are they found in the story itself, but you also learn the why of it. Can't say more than that because of spoilers, but I had to say just that.
Dawn was also a very great heroine. I found that she was a truly strong female, one that had the potential to be something more but because of her Pack's story, she was lacking the opportunities for them. I ached for her because of that, because her true potential wasn't being fully explored due to something her ancestors did. I liked her spirit. I liked that she could be a badass and defend herself and her friends when they needed protection, and at the same time allow herself moments of vulnerability. She and Mitchell are a perfect match, really, and I was truly happy that they found themselves.
The interesting thing about this book, and I can only hope this is something that happens with all books, is that every now and then, you get a chapter told in some different character's POV. I found that intriguing, not just because it teases about the next book's main characters, but it also shows you just a tiny piece of the puzzle, just enough to get my interest piqued.
The story is truly well paced, and I managed to read it in one sitting. I found that although I knew nothing about this world, I was able to read without feeling lost. I felt the need to know more, but not in the sense that I couldn't understand what was happening or that I was confused by the lack of knowledge.
As I said in the beginning, I'm truly happy that I got to read this book and that I've found yet another great paranormal series. I plan on working my way through the Redwood and Talon series, while I'm waiting desperately for the next book in the series.
Carrie Ann has kept both the Redwood and Talon pack series fresh and new by adding new twists and changes to the plot and characters periodically. Destiny Disgraced is another one of those points in that series. Mitchell Brentwood has a secret, one he hasn’t shared with anyone, one that’s affecting the rest of his life. One that is directly challenged when he meets Dawn Levin and his wolf responds in a way that he feels betrays him and his past love. Not only does he fight the mating that he believes should not be happening but he fights his feelings of betrayal to his long-lost love.
Dawn, on the other hand, is a young wolf, one of the youngest in a traitorous pack that is struggling to regain their full packhood. Her brother is on the cusp of being alpha and everything is about to change, and hopefully she’ll change too, having a purpose other than being a barista. When her wolf lunges for Mitch, she insists she’s not ready either, waiting to see what her future entails, loyal to her pack and brother.
Forces outside their control are plotting to destroy them and the other packs and move in the shadows to tear Dawn and Mitchell apart, not to mention the fragile peace that has been created. Can both of them overcome their past, their history, and find peace and forgiveness in the new world?
I loved this story, as I loved all of the series. Mitchell is a total badass, cranky wolf, only getting worse and Dawn is a strong, independent woman who is determined to stand on her own two feet. Their romance was wonderful and fraught with danger and internal conflict, not to mention sadness and disappointment. And externally, the world takes on a new twist, with a new villain and new direction, which I loved.
Carrie Ann keeps the world fresh, maintains ties to the existing characters, yet provides a solid focused love story for the main characters. I loved it and can’t wait for the next one!
Another chapter in Carrie Ann Ryan's paranormal world begins with Destiny Disgraced. After the events of the fifth book, the paranormal world is shaken and the non-human creatures are trying to find their place in the world. A new enemy has emerged and our beloved characters find out secrets that change the way they saw their world. Destiny disgraced might be the sixth book, but it's a new chapter for everyone after the events of the fifth book. The mating bonds have change for one. And now the whole world knows about werewolves and someone deadly doesn't like that. I want to find out what he is preparing to do in order to get what he wants. The next novels will be very interesting in my opinion.
Can I say that I peed myself a little from happiness when I found out how is going to be the next couple in the series? Aimee was a really nice person and I am curious about her illness, I now she will live in the end, but I bet there is something juicy there. Walker is an interesting man and I can't wait to see what will happen to these two on their way to happily ever after. I don't want their story to be focused on politics and the big bad wolf that threatens the members of the Talon pack. Is it possible to get another spin off series about the Centrals? Dawns pack is newly formed and I am sure there mating waiting to happen.
Dawn and Mitchell's romance is building slowly in the book. Their first kiss happens at the end of the first quarter of the book and they didn't spend much time together before, which wasn't something I noticed, to be honest. The flow of the book has smooth and it had a good and steady pace until the story reached it pick. I enjoyed the book a lot and the relationship between Mitchell and Dawn. I don't have a single complaint to make. What are you waiting for? Go and read the book.
DESTINY DISGRACED is book six in the Talon Pack series and though it can standalone, it's better to start with book one to get the full effect of all the bonds and connections between characters. This is an older man, younger woman/second chance paranormal romance (wolf shifters). Let's talk first about the intricate and elaborate world that Carrie Ann Ryan built. WOW, all the little details add so much to the storyline! I love that anyone can just pick a book up and start reading (but why wouldn't you want to read EVERY book in this awesome series??) without getting too confused or lost. There's new twists, intrigue and angst, new connections and friends made...the story will keep you on your toes! The connections between the characters are so important in every book because the pack really represents the strength of family and this is showcased perfectly in Mitchell and Dawn's story. Mitchell is nothing but growly goodness, he's sad and lonely but also loyal and forceful! The pain of his past made my heart break for him but at the same time, I TOTALLY wanted to see him and Dawn find their happiness and Mitchell's second chance at love. Dawn's character seemed soft because of her maternal instincts but she was actually very strong, passionate and kind. For me, these two were the perfect yin yang, her lightness and his darkness! This is another fantastic addition to the Talon Pack series and I'm eager to see what's next! Told from dual POVs with a happy for now ending. I received, read and voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
Action-packed storyline & unforgettable characters who drag you into their tale of fated mates. Each book in this awesome series is linked by an overall background storyline which flows through each one with the finale being revealed in the last book. These stories should be read in order so that the reader can gain the best knowledge of the Talon pack history. Mitchell has always been a strong wolf but memories of his past threaten to pull him down. When the Central Pack are accepted by the Moon Goddess, the new alpha’s sister, Dawn, is devastated that she has not been given a role in the pack. Mitchell is tasked with helping train the new pack and fights against the mating bond with Dawn. Will they be able to overcome their fears or will circumstances keep them apart? Edge of your seat storyline. I love this series.
I really do love this world that Carrie has created both in the Talon Pack series and the Redwood Pack series and how they crossover. I couldn't wait to read Mitchell's story and I just knew that Dawn was perfect for him. Of course theirs isn't an easy path which has been true of each match made. I absolutely adored Dawn. She was so strong with so much to deal with as her past didn't make the present any easier. I love that Carrie not only gives us warriors in the men she creates, but does the same for the women who are their mates. I can't get enough of this series and can't wait to read more.
I have loved every book that I have read by Carrie Ann Ryan. This book sucked me in from the get go. There was a couple times when I got annoyed with Mitchell and his way of thinking, mostly just wanted to yell at him to stop being so stupid and see what was right I front of him! Happy that everything is gonna be able to work out for Dawn. Can’t wait to see what happens next and see how these two grow
Carrie Ann Ryan has a SURPRISE Trailer Reveal of Destiny Disgraced and I have it posted on my blog, you can see it here: https://nadineisobsessedwithbooks.blo...
Wow... We knew there was something going on with Mitchell but seriously I did not see that coming! Love him and Dawn though and thrilled they got their HEA.
Mitchell doesn’t want a mate. He already had one and lost her. He sees Dawn at the central den and his wolf pushes him towards her. He doesn’t like being by her. Dawn works as a barista at a coffee shop in the human world. Her three best friends don’t know she is a wolf. They leave the coffee shop one day and a rogue wolf attacks Dawn and she has to reveal who she is. Mitchell ends up helping her. The two of them get thrown together. Dawn gets badly hurt and her den doesn’t have a healer. The only way is to make her a Talon. Mitchell tries to get her permission, but she is not awake enough. He decides he can’t lose her and makes her a Talon so a walker can save her. Will Dawn be upset when she wakes up? Will they stop fighting their attraction? Can they find out who is behind the attacks? Come on in and find out.
Mitchell has secrets, secrets that he thinks will not allow him to ever mate Dawn. Dawn is young, bur still has an attraction to Mitchell. Yet, she came from the Central Pack, the pack that summoned a demon and tried to take over the other packs. Her family escaped in time to hide themselves and be saved from the evil, that was finally banished. She does not feel worthy of Mitchell. Will they get their HEA or will the new threat win?
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - I LOVE THIS AUTHOR!! Dawn and Mitchell’s love story is full of healing, grit, and undeniable chemistry. Mitchell’s refusal to accept the mate bond is gutting, but it makes the payoff all the more powerful when he begins to open up. Dawn is a fierce heroine who refuses to let fear or fate hold her back, and her determination to love Mitchell is inspiring. Their journey is steeped in action, emotional growth, and some truly swoon-worthy moments.
Heather, Heather, Heather. I felt like I was watching that one Brady Bunch episode. And everything took too long. It just felt like a lot of whining to me. But the story was sweet, if not bittersweet. I hate that there was a big jump between this book and the previous one.
Destiny Disgraced is the sixth book in the Talon Pack series. It could easily be read as a standalone, but like any series, it is always more enjoyable if you know the back stories of the other characters in the books. This is Mitchell, Beta of the Talon Pack and Dawn, sister of the soon-to-be Alpha of the Central Packs story.
There is a lot happening in this book and the author throws a completely unexpected twist into the storyline that will impact the future significantly for all shifters. I can't wait to see where she goes with this in future installments of the series.
I must say that I loved Mitchell and Dawn's story. Their interactions with each other were wonderful and the sex was hot and steamy. Neither of them wants a mate, for their own personal reasons, but they cannot resist the potential mate pull. I'm glad that they at least recognized rather quickly that that is what was going on between them, because that is probably the only twist in the last book in the series that I didn't like where the author was going with it. I love shifter stories when mates instantly recognize each other as such, even if they don't love each other yet. Lots of things are changing in the shifter world, but how they don't instantly recognize their potential mates wasn't one of my favorite twists in that book.
Having said that, watching Mitchell and Dawn work through their attraction was fun to experience. The only complaint I would have about their story was Mitchell's reason for denying his mate. It was very reminiscent of Adam in 'Enforcer's Redemption' Redwood Pack book 3. With Adam my heart was bleeding for the struggle he was going through in accepting his mate, Bay. With Mitchell I was more annoyed than anything.
SPOILER ALERT............
Once Mitchell admitted that his previous mate Heather never accepted his wolf, and had never even seen it because she was afraid of it, I wondered why the heck he was still mourning her 35 years later. Not only did she never accept it, or even want to see it in the entire year they were mated, but she was adamant that she never wanted to be turned as well. So she was fine with her mate having to watch her grow old and die. She just came across to me as very selfish. Then, to make it even worse, the human part of Mitchell was able to fall in love with Dawn, but it was his wolf that felt it was a betrayal and fought the potential mating all the way. Why the wolf felt that way I did not know since Heather never accepted him. She wanted to live in her own little selfish world where she could pretend that Mitchell was completely human.
I was really hoping that when he finally told everyone about Heather that one of them would say exactly what I'd been thinking. But they all seemed to just think it was very sad and that he had a right to feel that way. Maybe if he had a loving mate that accepted his wolf and wasn't a selfish little twit I would agree, but it didn't come across that way to me.
END SPOILER.........
So once Mitchell's wolf finally got his head out of his a** and accepted Dawn completely, they were able to be together as mates. Totally worth the read to see that happen. They may have been fooling themselves over what kind of relationship they could have, so when everything finally came together it was a wonderful ending to another great story in the series.
The author did introduce which characters would be the main love interests in the next book, and I am looking forward to it, but I am also eagerly awaiting Max's story. If there's anyone who needs his own HEA it's him. Hopefully we won't have to wait too long for his story.
Destiny Disgraced Talon Pack Book 6 by Carrie Ann Ryan ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Destiny Disgraced is book 6 in the Talon Pack series. I enjoy that this is a fantastic addition into the series. It's a interesting book that features a new pack, failures, a double-cross, insecurities of a pack, triumphs, and challenges to the pack. Carrie Ann Ryan is a talented and gifted author, who continues to give us Awesome books to read no matter what genre. Her main characters along with the supporting characters are what makes this book so unique, she creates fabulous world for werewolves, it has a depth that you will thoroughly enjoy, this is Mitchell Brentwood and Dawn Levin story. I absolutely enjoyed reading this book, I did have one issue which is that the story had to end. Mitchell is the Beta enforcer he's whose job it is to try keep the pack alive. He is aware that the pack think he’s a harsh taskmaster which he takes full advantage of by never smiling. Dawn Is the younger generation of Central wolf Pack who was born to pack after their parent escape from the old Central pack. She is strong maternal wolf but submissive this means her wolf’s true calling is to be a protector of children. Her wolf needs to nurture and care for the young of the Pack. Yet without any pups within their den walls, a part of her will always feel broken. Even though Dawn refers to herself as a submissive wolf, I think she has an inner dominant streak. While Mitchell and Dawn struggle with their feelings and attraction for each other, there is a evil force that they can’t ignore. their pack and their allies must face the new enemy, one with revenge and the unknown on their minds. An they are closer than they realize. I love and enjoy the way these characters interact and the support that they give one another. I like how loyal Dawn friends are and the fact they understand that she kept secrets from them that's true friendship. I hope that they each get their own story, as they are off on their own adventures. This book and all of the Talon Pack series are so incredibly great at entertaining the readers. This book is action fill with tension that makes it a great page turner. I am a great fan of Carrie Ann Ryan ability. ABSOLUTELY fantastic story and a highly entertaining read! The story pulls you in from the first chapter in till the end. The character development was on point. The heroine was flawed but yet full of strength. The romance is everything you enjoy reading. The suspense is never overdone. Each book in the series can stands on its own, however for optimal reading pleasure, you’ll want to read them all. If you are look for a fabulous read go ahead and start with this book. You will enjoy Carrie’s writing and her wonderful sense of humor. THIS IS A FABULOUS MUST READ! I certainly recommend this book to readers that is looking for a Phenomenal read. I voluntarily reviewed this book, because I love and can't resist reading Carrie Ann Ryan books! I enjoy sharing my thoughts with my fellow readers
The constant stress that the packs have lived under since The Unveiling is finally gone. They have entered a time of peace. However, when you are like the Talon pack, a pack that has lived in stress and unease from within or outside for years, this doesn’t necessarily feel better.
This is tricky for all of them, especially Mitchell, the Beta of the Talon pack. His job is to keep the pack safe, help with the day to day operations of the alpha, but something feels off. When he runs an errand for the pack, he is put face to face with the one wolf he’d been trying to avoid. Seeing her, saying her name, stirs something deep inside of him, something he doesn’t want to even acknowledge. Mitchell carries a secret with him that turned him into a beta that they respected but always kept at arms length. When his destiny is thrust at him, will he face it, deal with it, run from it, or embrace it?
Dawn is a wolf with no pack, as something inside of her craves more. Even though some wolves are out, including her brother, she keeps part of her secret, working and doing the best she can to help her family and the small pack they have. Unfortunately, just like the secret of wolves in general, secrets will never stay hidden forever. As things unravel, Dawn and the Central’s - the pack with no pack - seek guidance from others. This puts her face to face with that same wolf she’d been drawn too, but knew to stay away from. Her name from his lips sparks a path that she’s not ready for and says she doesn’t want, but destiny doesn’t wait. Will she follow or stick to her guns and turn away from it?
They all are having to learn to live in a new time. However, not everyone is happy with progress and moving forward. Secrets live in the packs, HUGE secrets that could have the packs questioning what they know and have known for so long. What will happen with a new twist in these stories?
————
This story is another amazing hit from Carrie Ann Ryan’s wonderful packs. Not only do we get to know Mitchell better and Dawn, we learn more about the Talon packs and those Redwoods are still there too. The connections of the packs enrich the current storyline, and gives the reader a little glimpse into those wolves that they have loved before. However, this story could be read as a stand alone, but it is SO much better with the background of the packs.
As for the current couple - Mitchell and Dawn will have you laughing, screaming, and yes, crying, along with their journey. There is a fire and a connection between these two that sucks you in and has you along for the ride. It will be well worth it and have you coming back for more. I am on the edge of my seat for the next story already.
