Nothing keeps a child from getting into trouble then a good book. But of course, I got into trouble. Big trouble.
I happened upon the romance novels, all lined up neatly with their colorful squat spines and titles scrawled in cursive. I would slink around that forbidden section, making sure no one was looking before sneaking away with one of those tasty taboo books. This was before 50 shades so it was mainly Harlequin tunics and corsets. Still, this was the start of my addiction, a guilty pleasure that would last for the rest of my life. I would hide in the bathroom of the store or the nonfiction section where no one would go with another book disguising the sultry half naked man that would give me away. Yes, I was a hypersexualized kid lol. Go figure.
Now, I’m a full-time registered nurse and whenever I get the chance I’m still devouring romance after romance. Especially when I get my hands on a real good book, things can get incredibly dangerous at the hospital! (That’s a joke. I love my patients!)
But recently, I've had these fantasies, these macho men parading around in my head, all sexy and dominant. I couldn't get them and their muscular bodies out of my mind! I knew I had to write them down or else.
So what started as a hobby writing short stories soon became a 70k full length novel and I realized I needed to share these incredibly hot alpha males with everyone. So I took the plunge and started working on getting it published. And now, after months of work, I finally released my first novel: Backseat With The Billionaire!
I couldn't believe it. This was my dream come true! That little girl in the bookstore never even thought this would've been possible. Yet, my book is out there and there are actual, real life people reading it! Now I can die happy! Just kidding.
Now, I hope I can keep writing and satisfying everyone’s fantasies, not just mine.
Side note: I like my cookies chewy and I've learned way too late in my life that I can microwave them for ten seconds to make them chewy again. I don't hate on crunchy, though. Cookies are cookies lol.

Backseat With The Billionaire is the debut book by Lilah May.
Lisa Howard thought she was in love when she first married her husband. But he was controlling and self centered. She lasted fifteen years, none of them happy, before she realized he was having an affair with a sorority girl. Lisa used a baseball bat to show her husband how she felt about his cheating. But now what does she do? She finds herself on her own for the first time and isn’t sure what to do with herself.
Lisa has lived next door her entire married life to another couple and their young son, Bobby. Lisa quickly befriended little Bobby and he spent as much time at her house as his own. She thought of herself as a second mom to little Bobby.
Bobby Carter was four when the Howards moved in next door. It didn’t take long to form a strong dislike for her husband. By the time Bobby was seven, he was in love with Lisa Howard. He spent his entire life planning for the day when he would make her his. Now, Bobby is twenty one years old and he is almost ready. He was one more thing to take care of and he’ll be ready to offer Lisa everything. Now that her husband is gone, he can start convincing Lisa that he isn’t a little boy anymore but a man, fully grown and more than able to provide for her, in every way possible.
“I was four when they first moved in. Lisa and Donald Howard. The angel and the devil. She had such a free spirit, a soaring optimism that couldn’t be extinguished by her pessimistic, cynical husband, even after 15 years.”
Bobby and his partner have made a fortune developing apps. He’s crazy rich. I don’t want to tell you all of the things he has accomplished because that would spoil the story but he is definitely successful. Bobby also has a darker side, both anger wise and sexually.
Lisa hasn’t seen Bobby in several years so she didn’t even recognize him at first when she saw him. The attraction between them was immediate and strong. Bobby seems to awaken something in her that she didn’t even know was there.
“A few hours ago, I was drowning in that deep pool of misery and doubt, and he appeared out of nowhere, pulling me free from the black tar of fear, saving me from myself.”
Okay, I have quite a few things to say here. First, I love a good older woman, younger man story. These two are seventeen years apart. Sounds like a good deal to me! But Lisa is constantly wavering back and forth. He was like a son to me, I can’t want him. I’m too old for him. Then she would blatantly tease him and lead him on. She was constantly back and forth. And there are a couple of things that happened when Bobby was still a kid, nothing that crossed any line mind you, but still, things that were inappropriate.
Then there is Bobby. This guy is definitely hot. But…I didn’t like his darker side. Plus, as much as I don’t like it when other people talk about a book being unrealistic, I found it hard to accept that he had done all these things by his young age of twenty one.
Lisa also has a thirteen year old daughter, Ava. We actually see very little of her and there were times when I wondered, where is Ava when all this stuff is going on?
All in all, I have to say that this book didn’t work for me. But, that is just my own personal opinion. I never could really connect with the characters and just didn’t really feel the romance the way I wanted to. Although I did love the way that Bobby had been planning for Lisa his entire life, step by step, patiently waiting until it was time to make her his.

I really tried so hard to like it. I had high expectations, because I normally like the older woman-younger man relationships in my books. I tried not to DNF it for days and days. And I managed to read it!
I had several problems with the book, but I think its main problem is its inconsistency.
I felt like there was no story. Just random scenes glued together. Some of them are quite interesting. Others are not my cup of tea. Others don't sound very realistic. Others don't connect with the rest of the story.
The characters are not really likable. Especially the secondary ones. They try to be funny, but they just sound weird. Especially Bobby's parents.
Bobby: I couldn't understand Bobby. Once he is behaving like a student, then like a businessman, then like a sophisticated 40 years old guy, then like a fighter, then like a spoiled brat.
Lisa: I couldn't understand Lisa. Once she is a mother hen, then a housewife who is sedused at the Supermarket behind the cheese counter or something like that, then she is a cougar, then she is shy, then she is a femme fatale, then she is hysterical etc.
The smut: Nope, just nope. I couldn’t connect at all.
I am really sorry. Maybe this book was just not for me.

He is a billionaire, has made a fortune for himself, and is looking for one thing only. The woman who stole his heart and never gave it back to him. Of course, this does not stop Bobby as he challenges himself to find Lisa, the woman of his dreams ever since he was a little boy. Once he has her on the palms of his hand, everything changes. She has become enamored to him and finds ways to let herself in to his dark secrets. Her heart became broke after her first marriage in which she thought she was so madly in love with, but ended up finding out that it was all just pure lies.
Explicit scenes described in this story are always welcomed. However, when they are scenes that need to be read over and over again to understand and see if the truth of them are actually real, thats a struggle for me. In total honesty, I wanted to through my kindle to the wall and not read one single word of this book any longer. But I stood tall and finished it all the way to the end. Scenes of violence were included in this book and unfortunately that is NOT my cup of tea. In total honesty, I wanted to through my kindle to the wall and not read one single word of this book any longer. But I stood tall and finished it all the way to the end. Ill give Lilah some credit because the ending was indeed sweet and romantic as it should be, but the story plot needed some work on.

She can’t stop thinking about the mysterious man from the store & enjoys the memories of what they did. When she finds out the mystery man is Bobby, the boy from next door she use to babysit she is shocked. But he is no longer a boy but a full grown man who takes what he wants & he has wanted Lisa Howard for as far back as he can remember. It was Bobby Carter who set the whole thing in motion knowing that she would be his when everything settled down. Lisa is insanely attracted to Bobby but keeps telling herself it is wrong to be with him. He deserved to find someone his own age & be happy. Bobby has his mind made up & she will be his because everything he has done so far in his life is for her.

The one liners in this book just made me laugh over and over again. For a debut novel this was pretty good.
Lisa is divorcing her no good cheating husband when Bobby re enters her life after she's high on pot brownies lol. Bobby is the young boy who lived next door to her who she helped raise and even taught him how masterbate, lol. He's been in love with her his entire life and thinks he has his chance now.
Bobby awakens something in her that's been dormant for so long she doesn't even realize what it is at first.

A debut novel by Lilah May, I had absolutely no idea what I was going to get reading this novel, and I was excited to dig in.
What I did get was a hot, raunchy, heartwarming, fun loving read that I couldn't put down.
We meet Lisa.
Married with a teenage daughter.
Life is good with Lisa, or so she thought.
Until she discovers that her husband is cheating on her.
Not just cheating on her, but cheating on her with a younger woman, a MUCH younger woman.
And she has the pictures to prove it.
So Lisa does what any woman would do.
Kicks his butt to the kerb. (But how she does it is absolutely hilarious)
We meet Bobby.
Young, dark and dangerous, all things sinful.
A college student who is not only a MMA fighter, but a billionaire in his own right.
He has worked hard for his success.
But there was a reason behind it.
Bobby made sure he could go to her and give her everything.
Booby made sure he could go to her and provide her with everything her heart desired.
Because Bobby has been in love with her all of his short life.
Yes that's right folks, Bobby is in love with Lisa, she just doesn't know it yet.
But she will.
And when she does, questions will be asked.
What will Bobby's parents think?
What will Lisa's daughter think?
Can they overcome the age difference?

Again I have to say guys I thoroughly enjoyed this novel. From the very first chapter I was hooked. It was all things naughty and delicious with a touch of humour that had me laughing my butt off. I loved both Bobby and Lisa's character, the banter between them was playful, the chemistry between them was explosive. A great read from Lilah May.

Backseat Billionaire by Lilah May a fulfilling five-star read. This was the first book by this author I have read, and gave it a try after a friend recommended it. Something I am unsure of as I have been burned a few times by friends saying its hot, heavy must read, and I have thought it was drivel. This time I am glad I took the chance, Lilah May was great, there were a few times that it was fanciful but I still enjoyed it.
Lisa Howard is a housewife who has been downtrodden by life and a husband that doesn’t deserve her. When she receives an envelope that contains photos of her husband with another woman, she knows she can’t go on any longer and tells him she wants a divorce. But not before she goes to town with a bat, and his body. It settles her need for a short time, but she still has an itch that needs scratching and only one person can scratch it, even if she feels she can’t allow it to happen as its wrong.
Bobby Carter is someone who knows what he wants, and how to go about getting it. He has wanted his MILF neighbour since he used to watch her sunbath over the fence. He has done everything in his life to get himself ready for this day, once she gets the envelope he knows their lives will change. He just needs to convince her that he isn’t that little boy anymore, hopefully the billions he is secretly worth or his hot MMA fighters body will help to convince her, if they don’t then I would happily be convinced.

Love this book
Love the way Lilah May kept the action moving in this story, there was no dragging out scenes to where boredom could set in. Fast moving, great storyline and believable characters, all the best things in creating a great book. Keep them coming Lilah May!!

Ok first of all, I love how this story starts- totally attention grabbing! Oh and this book has humor! Especially near the beginning. I think this is Lilah May's first book and it is a job very well done.
It's an interesting younger man/older woman story where the young man is alpha and strong and has his stuff together, This is dirty and taboo, and the sex scenes are very naughty! Though there were a couple points it could have flowed better, I can see myself reading more from this author in the future. I received an arc of this.

**I received this ARC in exchange for an honest voluntary review** DNF. Could not for the life of me get through this story :( Really lost me when Lisa's friend & neighbor is straight up pimping out her son to her. Like wtf? Not to mention she knows way too much about his sexual exploits. Understandable how Lisa is so vulnerable with her husband cheating on her but the way she starts acting out like a teenager is just dumb. Bobby was more mature than her. Really wish I could've finished this story but it just wasn't for me. Sorry :(

This is my first book by Lilah May and I can honestly say it won't be my last. With a different take on the older man/younger woman romance story, Backseat with the Billionaire is about an older woman/younger man who have an instant attraction to each other. Thrown in some naughty sex scenes, and you have a very exciting read.

A couple, a cheating, controlling, husband and a generous, sexy, smart, wife. The neighbors, a couple that is open and swingers who have a young son. All the makings for an interesting story. The story revolves around Lisa and Bobby. Lisa leaves her husband. Bobby is away at college, all grown up now, but he’s been pining for Lisa for the past 15yrs, ever since she and her now ex-husband moved next door. He now sees the opportunity to make his play for Lisa now that she’s no longer with her asshole husband.
The sex is hot and steamy. There are lots of references to pop culture and funny situations – she runs into Bobby for the first time in six years while high from pot and she doesn’t recognize him. These things work to bring you into the book and into the story.
Bobby doesn’t waste any time making sure Lisa knows just how much of a man. As many women do, when they’ve been in a long time marriage and have felt oppressed, stagnate, repressed, once they are free, they let loose. Bobby finds her at a bar; a slimy, sweaty, drunk guy hitting on her. He drags her out, scolds her for looking like a ‘loose’ woman, and then puts her hand down his pants since she ‘just wants the D’. He’s all alpha right there and she loves it, craves it.
But she doesn’t. there are 17yrs between them. She keeps thinking she’s like a mother figure to him. Lisa is just trying to get her life back on track, figuring out who she is now that she’s no longer under the mind control of a sick psycho husband, and caring for her 13yr old daughter Ava.
And Bobby isn’t just a college aged kid with a thing for his older neighbor. He’s a billionaire who’s made is fortune building apps with his partners and selling them. He grew up in an open environment. His parents, Patty (and I can’t remember her husband’s name) are swingers. In fact, it was Patty that suggests Lisa pursue Bobby right after the two of them kick old, Donald the Douche (her ex) out of the house.
This is definitely a hot ride. There are bumps in the road. There might be a few moments where it’s a struggle to get through the unrealistic bits but for a debut novel, it has a lot going for it.

This is an amazing debut novel by Lilah May and is certainly a steamy younger male, older female romance story. Lisa is a MILF for Bobby, the boy next door who grew up knowing she was the one and when he was able to, ensure she fell right into his too hot to handle lap! Lisa is a downtrodden long-suffering housewife who begins her journey of self discovery and sexual reawakening after being given evidence her husband had cheated. Combine that with a cheeky teenage daughter, some very comedic and open neighbour/friends and a very sexy, hard to resist boy (ummmm man!) next door this combines for a sinfully delicious read!
There are certainly scenes that are farfetched but you know what, that's what fiction is all about and this one certainly gives you that warm and tingly feeling while reading! Lilah May has done a great job at building the sexual tension between these two and also the POV of both characters so you are able to see their emotional turmoil they face as you take a journey on their will they, wont they romance. It is nicely paced and has steam in all the right places. Bobby is dominant and sexy. Lisa is nervous but interesting and the comedic elements in the book were brilliant. I loved the supermarket scene - well both of them really!

The things is will what he has done make her never want to see him again or will he finally get the girl of his dreams?
Lisa has been in a loveless marriage for years now. So when she gets proof of him cheating on her it is both a relief and a devastation. Lisa isn’t sure how to feel about what Donald not only did to her but their marriage that will affect their 13 year old daughter. Then there is the fact that she meets a mystery man that shows her there is more to life than what she has been living. Will she be willing to open up to Bobby the man she still thinks of as the boy she was always there for? Or will she finally see him for the man he is and what he can open her world to?

I read this book while I've been on vacation for the past week and it was definitely a perfect beach read. I was a little unsure about the whole MILF scenario, so I'm not always convinced of these type of romances, but I'm also not sure that anyone would have been able to resist Bobby Carter either.
The whole story was very romantic, it was passionate, it was exciting and exhilarating and I laughed out loud numerous times (especially on the ride to the campground, that was hilarious!).
One of the few things I didn't necessarily feel went with the flow of the book was probably the ending. The very ending was a little rushed feeling and it went to super quick and didn't necessarily feel flowy as much anymore (like the rest of the book did). That would probably be my only critique.
There are elements of BDSM in this book, since if that's not your kind of thing to read, you might not enjoy it as much. I enjoy reading it, to a point, sometimes I feel it can be overdone and at that point, I lose the love story and it just gets impersonal to me. I think Lilah May rode that line pretty fairly and I didn't feel, for the most part, that I lost the love story since I enjoyed about 94% of this book!!!
Definitely a good story, definitely a recommendable story. I would most certainly read more books by this author, good debut!!! :)

Lisa- has been the quiet housewife for years, living with her horrid husband, until the day she finds out the truth, now almost 40 years old she finds herself looking at the prospect of having to start over.
Bobby is there to help her in her times of need, saves her from herself! But he's the boy next store, a family friend, she practically helped raise him. The feelings he is bringing out in her are not family or friendly in the least- this is not right she cannot be having these feelings for someone so young, especially him.
Too bad Bobby has other ideas. She is the women he has loved for all these years, the one he has saved his heart for. How can this possibly end well?

Things I did not enjoy:
While I know this is a story, imaginative and creative, there were too many unrealistic or over the top moments/events for me;
Though very descriptive, it was too repetitive;
While some parts were very elaborately detailed, there were lots of pertinent details that were left hanging (mostly, where was Ava during the recovery; I know how big/small a Rav 4 is...seriously, that's the Backseat that a giant of a man, a grown woman, a raft and 13 year old AND the conversation and "events" happens in? All with 2 adults in the front seat- who don't say anything while said convo and "events" happen?
This an older woman/younger man love story, which I love. Others things I enjoyed about this book:
His dedication, passion and love for her;
The character descriptions of the mains and minor characters;
The descriptive ways the author paints the scenes, they flourish with her words;
The sweet HEA.
I think this is a great debut and am looking forward to reading more of her work and evolvement.

This is the first book I have read from this author and it was a great debut and read. The story about an older woman, Lisa, who finally kicks her cheating husband out and the boy who is now a man, Booby, that lived next door. She hasn't seen him in years and doesn't realize that he has turned into a hot, tall, muscular, alpha man. Bobby has always had a crush on Lisa which as he grew older turns into love. When she has a hot encounter with him in a store she doesn't know who he is but when she does realize who he is later, she tries to deny her feelings and worries what others will think. But Bobby doesn't give up he keeps showing and expressing what she means to him.
I enjoyed the book with many many steamy hot scenes and the reversal, older woman and younger man and the man chasing her showing her with action what she means to him and getting her to let go of her worries and realize that she does love him. There was a part I didn't like so much when her daughter called Bobby in the beginning, she is only 13 and I would have liked an epilogue further into the future.

This is the debut novel of this author, the blurb and the cover was eve that I love, a billionaire, a MMA fighter, a bad boy I just love it.but this book wasn't only that.

I liked the book and I saw a very good blurb but at some point I lost interest in the story. I felt confused when Ava started to say she wanted to get married with Bobby, or when Bobby was telling his fantasies when he was only a little boy or when she was imagining him being a boy and feeling desired for her.
Anyway this author made me stick with the story, I wanted to know how Lisa would deal with a cheating ex husband, a new lover that it was son of her best friends, and a daughter lusting over her bad boy.

This is the debut novel by Lilah May. Overall, I thought it was a good story. It kept my interest and I was able to read it in a little over a day. It is an older woman/younger man storyline with a hint of taboo thrown in. Lisa's marriage was crumbling with the discovery that her husband was cheating on her. Stepping in to provide comfort was Bobby, a man young enough to be her son, a man she practically helped raise being that they were neighbors. Was Bobby able to convince her he really did love her? Did she give into her desires? What would her thirteen year old daughter and her best friends (Bobby's parents) say about their relationship? There were a few moments that were a tad unrealistic but there were some really sexy scenes to make up for it. I liked the story and will be reading more by this author.

I have the pleasure of reading Lilah May's debut novel.
It has some twist in it that I wasn't expecting.
It has the typical HEA ending but the way in which they reach it is def different.
After 15 years of marriage Lisa has to start over. Having a teenage daughter and a jerk of a cheating ex husband Lisa has alot to overcome.
Bobby has known all along he wants Lisa. Everything he does, he does to reach that end.
I loved the fact that the woman is older than the man. He was still the alpha the stronger one of the couple, she still needed saving but the way the story came together was very enjoyable.
It was a little hard to follow at times, due to the way it jumped time. Some of the scenes were a little to unbelievable but it is after all a story :) . But all in all I enjoyed reading it. For a first novel I think it was a good start. I look forward to seeing/reading her future stories and watch her grow as an author.

This is a great debut novel by Lilah May. It is definitely a little taboo but that's what made it good. Not your typical boy next door book. As Bobby was the boy next door to Lisa but he is not a boy anymore, in fact he is all man 100%. I liked Bobby from the first chapter, he's got it all for sure. Sexy, strong. smart as in he's an APP developer so ya he's rich too and super obsessed with Lisa, but he owns it, he knows he is and doesn't care and I like that. We finally get an older woman with a younger guy. add in some twists and turns, some excitement and hot sex, plus great side characters with Bobby's parents and the jerk ex husband. Lisa was a bit too undecided and repetitive but I liked her in the end.

Lisa is reeling from the betrayal by her husband after fifteen years of marriage. He has an on-going affair with a college student, many years his junior. Divorce causes Lisa to reflect on her life and to confront her insecurities about growing older. Bobby returns to her life in a big way that stuns her sensibilities. He is twenty years younger than Lisa and proclaims his heart is hers. She is greatly troubled by his declaration and continually vacillates between being attracted to him and being too old for him. It is entertaining to see how they resolve their issues. Surprising twists along with a sense of humor......there is an incident involving a bat that had me giggling ....will charm. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book. Four stars.

This is a debut novel from this author, and if I did not now that before I read this book, I would never have known. This is the story of Bobby and Lisa, i.e., the younger man / older women. Booby has loved Lisa for years, and when she finds out that her husband has been cheating on her, she takes matters into her own hands. Now is the time for Bobby to stake his claim on her. These two have amazing chemistry between them. No spoilers, please give this author a chance for yourself, you will not regret it!!
This is a fantastic read, with a great plot. I was intrigued and hooked from the word go, and this story has it all. Awesome work Lilah! Cannot wait to read more from this author, and I recommend for all readers.

I received this ARC in exchange for an honest review. This is a brilliant debut novel by Lilah May with the older woman, younger man theme. The story of Bobby and Lisa is one of an all encompassing love on Bobby's part since he was very young. However, Lisa feels she has to fight the oppression of society that would not accept the age difference. This book will take you on a journey of emotional and social turmoil with red hot chemistry thrown in an abundance. This book will definitely hit all the right spots if you want an all encompassing read. Five star worthy for original plot and believable characters.

An excellent debut from new author Lilah May! I loved the reverse trope here, with an older woman and a younger man, and the younger man is pursuing her. Bobby was a self-made success story who knows in his heart that Lisa is the one for him. Lisa has recently shed her cheating husband, and Bobby is ready to step in and show her how a woman should be treated. I really enjoyed the story, I just wished she wasn't quite so much older, than Bobby, but it was still a great first book, with steam, plots, and machinations! Kudos! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

For the first time at writing this book was good.
The story line was good and read quite well.
Bobby is quite a bit younger than Lisa he has known
her most of his life and has has fillings for her.
Lisa has found out her husband has been cheating on
her and she decided to leave him.
This is the beginning of the book to find out how things go
You will have to read it for yourself. You want be sorry you did.
