Read along with Disney! Anna and Elsa are planning a secret birthday party for Olaf. But they need to keep Olaf busy while their friends set up. Anna, Elsa, and Olaf set off for a day of fun, but will Olaf suspect the surprise party? Follow along with the word-for-word narration to find out!
My 2 year old has had a very Frozen filled Christmas, with PJs, dresses, shoes, lollies and even a Frozen karaoke machine from her father. She also loves birthdays so between those 2 things, this book was gonna be a winner.
Summary- It's Olaf's birthday and his friends are planning a surprise party to celebrate. To distract him, Anna and Elsa take Olaf on a fun summer day. When they get back home, the surprise is shown, and they have a fun party.
Review- Though it has nothing wrong plot wise, I personally don't like the fact that it disconnected from the source material a bit by not continuing any story lines. The artwork is great! It isn't as photo realistic as the movie, but not dumber down too much. The story isn't half bad, and would entertain anyone in the level one reader age group.
This easy reader is simple and cute, with colorful illustrations and delightful details. I love the characters' facial expressions, and enjoyed seeing Olaf live the life he imagined during a trip to the beach.
