Room For Three

Rate this book
Sparks fly and passions ignite when three very strong, very different personalities are brought together!

Asher Glass, the enigmatic and extremely intelligent CEO of Glass Investments, doesn’t understand emotions or deep connections. He can't fathom why people act on feelings alone. All he knows is that he cares for his male lover, Peyton, yet also wants his female assistant, Charlie, too much to deny for much longer.

Peyton Waits thinks he finally has the relationship he's always wanted with his boss Asher Glass. Asher meets all of his needs, physically anyways. He refuses to allow any doubts he might have bother him, especially thoughts that maybe Asher's feelings aren't completely in tune with his. When Asher’s beautiful assistant Charlie explodes into their lives, he continues to have faith in Asher’s feelings for him, even in the face of growing evidence that Asher’s infatuation for Charlie might not be purely platonic.

Charlie Hall is a southern woman with only one thing on her mind, taking care of her daughter to the best of her ability. She thinks her life is going well, until she meets Asher Glass and he offers her a new job. She isn’t looking for a relationship, but her feelings for her gay boss start to grow, and she realizes maybe his are too. It's a fairytale come true, until Charlie realizes she's not the only one Asher might have feelings for.

Can a relationship between a gay man, a straight woman, and a man who wants it all actually work, or will all three of them get burned?

This novel is intended for MATURE audiences 18 and over, due to sexual situations and strong language. Sexually explicit scenes, including m/f m/f/m m/m/f and m/m, are included.

Definitely new author to me. I loved it. It has all the ingredients that I love in a MMF. The characters are definitely the reasons why this story is so good. It was not over the top. It was the kind of relationship ending as a menage, the way I can see it happening in real life.
This story got my full attention from beginning to end and made me want to see if I could have a repeat with another menage of her. So I am currently reading The executioner.
Room for Three is definitely a great book. You cannot do wrong if you love MMF and menage.

This book was full of emotions and had me on edge throughout the entire story. Written from all three points of view, the reader is vividly thrust into their minds, feeling their jealousy, their need, their angst, their acceptance and love. A really great storyline and developed characters, a must read!

** Reviewed on behalf of 2 Girls Who Love Books **

I am always a big fan of a good menage romance so when I was given the opportunity to read and review this one I jumped at it! Melissa Silvey is a new author to me but I have to say that I may just look up some of her other work as I enjoyed this book a lot.

Be aware that this IS a MMF menage romance so the guys get it on together too! I actually really enjoy the dynamics of a true threesome relationship and I thought that the author really was honest with the feelings of the characters - it's challenging and not always all hearts and flowers. I thought this was brought out well in the book. Not only do they have the usual issues with having a triad relationship, they also have the added pressures of an employee/employer situation, Charlie has an 8 year old daughter AND Asher has issues connecting with emotions and communicating - almost perhaps somewhere on the Autism scale - but he is also clearly brilliant.

It all makes for a VERY interesting story as they try to make a triad relationship out of 2 separate relationships that are completely different. But this is why Asher wants them both - they each bring something totally different to his life that he feels he not only wants but NEEDS. It's a complex story and was totally intrigued to see where the author was going to take them.

If I had a complaint about the book it would be the wording of certain body parts... not sure that I enjoyed words like 'boobs', 'tool' and 'phallus' that much. It kind of jarred me out of the rhythm of the story. This could be just me... but it took away from the story for me and as there was a fair bit of sex in the book (totally NOT a bad thing!) these words were used often.

It does end in a bit of a HFN situation and teases that there may be more for these characters in the future.... I'm eager to read it if there is and will be checking in to see when/if it comes out!

I am really enjoying reading this book, the characters are each fascinating in their own ways and the attraction between them is scorching hot! Great writing and the sentences flow along quite nicely for this reader.
"And he's just so da** magnetic, I want to be around him, and please him, and see the corners of his lips tip up when I do something to make him happy."
"Also, I'll need to get flowers. Just because, I've never been out with a woman doesn't mean I don't know how to do it."
"His eyes are beautiful enough to die for, and the rest of him is even better."
"Her presence soothes me. I know when she is beside me everything will be okay."

I have fallen completely in love with this book! It was absolutely fantastic, it was interesting reading with three points of view but it flowed seamlessly between the three. You really got the full story and all of everyones views shown clearly throughout the whole story. Ive read many books with a similar story line but this one was diffrent i don't think I can explain it properly. Asher and Peyton were a great couple but I really feel like Charlie rounded them out and fit like the last puzzle piece. The emotions of everyone really stood out and you couldn't help but fall in love with them too! I give this five stars and then some lol I was completely enthralled and couldn't put it down. One of the best books i've read in awhile, I really looking forward to more from this author!- By Tiffany

Very hot book. When you find two different people who complete you do you have to chose between love or what society seems correct? Who says that you can't love more than one person?

It starts off espaining the relationship of Asher and Peyton are currently in a relationship, but Asher is extremely attracted to his new employee Charlotte/Charlie. Charlie is attracted to Asher, but has is aware that he is gay, so he's off limits, but still has a strong desire to be with him. Peyton is jealous of how Asher reacts to Charlie, and befriends Charlie, and they end up going out on a date.
Asher runs into a business issue on the other side of the country, and is in need of Charlie's help. Things heat up between Asher & Charlie, but Peyton has a 6th sense what's happening between them, and fly's to see for himself.
Things come to ahead, and Asher let's Peyton & Charlie know that he wants them both. They both have certain things in their personality that complete each other.
Charlie is a single mom, and the press has gotten ahold of what's going on.How do you explain to child that you're with two men that you love or do you do what society deems correct?

I got this book from Heathers Book Tours in exachange for a free review.

Normally I am not into romance novels, but, this book was so full of emotions that it had me all over the place. The way Silvey wrote this book was so enhancing, making each character their own and having each POV stand on its own. I can not wait to see what else Melissa, publishes!

Room For Three is a must read for those who like m/m/f, m/m, m/f. It is definitely for mature adults. I just happened to see a post about author Melissa Silvey. So I stalked her and I found she has some really good books on her shelf. So I read this one.
Charlie Hall is a sweet southern young lady with a child that comes before anything to her. And a accent that will absolutely capture your heart. She works for Glass Investments. She has good pay and really loves her job. She also is attracted to her boss Asher Glass. He has very dark eyes that will melt you. He is a good boss and treats employees very well but one thing Charlie found out when she started working for him is that he is GAY. But each day she works for him she falls a little deeper for someone she can't have or can she?
Asher Glass is the CEO of Glass Investments. Needless to say he is very wealthy. He doesn't understand emotions very well except his feelings for his male lover and his pretty little southern assistant has thrown him off kilter. He hired Charlie from a company he bought out and she was one of the employees he kept. Only she had to uproot her daughter and leave her mother,5 hours away, to take this job. She needed this job to raise her daughter Elise. Asher fell for her the first time he met her. But he doesn't understand the feelings he is having. Since he is gay and hasn't had any other relationships.
Peyton Waits is a very important employee of Glass Investments. But he also is Asher Glass's male lover. Asher is a very attractive man and Peyton is very jealous of anyone that would be a threat to him like Miss Charlie who has come into their lives and totally bombed his love life. But soon he realizes that Charlie is a person that is attracted to him in a different way than he was used too. He's gay and loves Asher deeply. He doesn't like the fact that Asher is constantly commenting about her to him. Jealousy hits him hard and he does things than shows it. He needs to explore Charlie a little more.
This story captured me from the first page. The way the author writes Charlie's southern dialog does an amazing job. Each of the characters are very well developed. Emotions in this book are awesome. As I read this I could feel and see each character very vividly. Its not just a story of m/m/f or m/m or m/f . Its a story of three people who never thought this could happen and they explore their desires with each other in a way that it has them all dumbfounded.
I gave this 5 Stars but I could hit a 10 if there was one. Melissa Silvey has a new reader from me and I cant wait to read another one of her books. I was on the edge of orgasm throughout the story. It will capture your heart and attention. I really like her style and of writing and how she tells you the story, you will feel part of it.

This is not my favorite genre, but I was hooked at the first chapter. I could not put it down.

I was interested to see how this gay guy and his lover would cope with having a straight woman inserted into their loves.

Melissa has woven a story that brings love, jealousy, anger and acceptance into their lives and works through all the emotions that could shatter a strong person into a relationship that works and gives hope to all of them.

This book does have sex between m/m/f and m/m but it is realistic and hot.

A good read and totally recommend it if you like hot books that are not just about the sex.

I liked the story but don't think I could deal with being in a permanent realtionship like they were. I would be too jealous to share like that. They learn to deal with all the emotions and come together to make it work.
I liked the book.

DNF at 30%

You're my boyfriend, Asher. You,re not supposed to share anything with anyone but me!" Peyton argues.
"I never said we were exclusive, Mr. Glass counters. He sounds almost hollow.
"After two and a half years of fucking you almost every night, it is certainly implied," Peyton growls.

DNF 1 Star 💩

UTTER TRASH!

mind you this is just my opinion. Falling with the rule of thumb; it’s not the book, it me.

That being said….

Fuck this shit. Asher is a complete and utter asshole, and he really might have autism but I don’t give a crap because this was trash.

The way he went off on Peyton, what he yelled at him… Fuck that! This was not a fair equal love triad. They had some good points, yes triads are difficult and jealousy happens but this was not it. This was one selfish man bending his partners to satisfy himself.

And I didn’t like it one but. Stopped at the private jet part because I really was gonna attempt to see more after Asher pointed out to Peyton he never told him they were exclusive bullshit. But I was even more mad when he stated so nonchalantly that he did as Charlie but not Peyton.

Ugh, I am furious at this. And oddly I feel this might be a more realistic depiction of a triad forming. But I had a sour taste in my mouth the moment Charlie and Asher had sex. The taste becoming downright rotten when he blatantly implied to Peyton he’d choose her over him and even the yelled “he allows” him to fuck him however Peyton want at him. It was crude and idk it irked me profusely.

And it’s sad that Peyton acknowledges this with content for Asher’s character like, “yeah he really does let me do him however i want even though he’s basically emotionless year round, but it’s okay I’ll take him however I can. Whatever he’ll give me.” It hurt me. 😭

I was fucking livid at the private jet scenes but I kept reading, grasping at straws for redemption for this book and fuck that I wasn’t reading anymore bullshit. So one stars because I dnf’ed this crap!

Can you tell I’m not a fan of the cheating trope? Or anything remotely sounding like cheating, given their lack of exclusivity might indicate there wasn’t cheating?? However it still felt like it, and Asher’s garbage…

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2

"I’m probably going to hell for this, I might be in hell right now, but I don’t care."

This book is full of surprises and not what I was expecting at all. This was my first read by Melissa Silvey and I was eager to see how she would pull of a believable threesome relationship. She did an excellent job, I felt the emotions with each character were honest and realistic. There was desire, angst, pleasure, happiness, confusion, jealousy and love throughout the story.
All of the characters were beautiful, sexy and brought different things to the relationship. I was drawn into the story and it actually made me curious about the dynamics in a relationship like this in real life. If you like a good ménage book this one is for you.

"I want her in my life, and in my bed. And I want Peyton too. Is it wrong? I don’t care. It’s what I want, and I almost always bring my desires to life."

'Room for Three' was a good read with some HOT scenes. I enjoyed the storyline, it was well written and, although they frustrated me enormously, the characters are loveable.

Asher is the CEO of Glass Industries, he has been in a relationship with his male lover Peyton for 2.5 years and now he wants his assistant, the gorgeous Charlie. He wants both Peyton and Charlie, and he always gets what he wants.

This type of story isn't normally my cup of tea, however I was gifted a copy from a friend so I put it on my 2017 TBR. This was full of so many emotions and was able to keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the entire story. Room For Theee was in fact written from all three points of view, the reader is thrust into their minds, feeling their jealousy, their need, their angst, their acceptance and love. I love how Melissa Silvey was able to take something done so often that it's on the verge of being overrated, and make it fresh and exciting for all types of readers.

I really liked this book as the premise was different than other threesome books that I have read.

But with that said, there were several writing issues that bothered me. For instance, she is from the south but she says “ya” instead of “ya’ll” or other terminology (I checked with a friend from the area Charlie is from).

There were also the abbreviated words such as “leavin’ “ instead of “leaving” in the narrative.

Sweet story

Happy to discover another menage author and hope to read more from her. It is not all cozy comfort between our 3. Jealousy and insecurities around and between them roughs up their path but love prevails.

Get ready to start you summer of with a "bang" with "Room for Three"! You will experience more bang for your buck with this hot menage read! Explosive attraction, explosive fights, even more explosive make-up sex! You will want to read this over and over again!

How can the attraction be explosive if it's a gay couple and a female? I'm so happy you asked! Well, first Charlie gets the hots for her dark, sexy, eccentric boss. Then, said boss brags about his "sexy, southern assistant. Peyton, the long time boyfriend of aforementioned boss, gets super alpha possessive (yet another big bang for this book!). When Asher goes out of town for business, Peyton takes it upon himself to get more acquainted with the sexy assistant, just to end up falling as well! None of the three are willing to accept their attraction for each other, yet alone for everyone involved!

Secrets get revealed, people feel betrayed, and there are surprises around EVERY corner! Yet, they somehow all manage to make it work. And boy do they make it work... They make it work in every combination and position possible!!

If you are in need of a hot, sexy read to take with you, definitely pick up "Room for Three"!
