Para meu gosto pessoal, posso dizer que começamos bem.



Neste primeiro número (zero), Resident Alien nos apresenta um alienígena que, através de poucos e curtos flashbacks, sabemos que, há três anos, caiu acidentalmente na terra, não tem como se comunicar com seu local de origem e, graças uma capacidade própria, consegue que outros o enxerguem como humano, e não com suas feições reais.



Assumindo a identidade de um médico (até aqui, ainda não sabemos como isso ocorreu) ele reside em uma cabana isolada, nas cercanias de Paciência (Patience), uma pequena e pacata cidade, ideal para um tipo como ele, que quer se isolar ao máximo do convívio humano.



Ser um médico fora do exercício de sua profissão, em uma cidade como Patience, pode parecer uma grande saída, para quem quer se esconder do convívio humano.

Ótimo! Até que um acontecimento force nosso amigo estrangeiro a se expor e se envolver com ninguém menos que o prefeito da cidade.

Interesting Plot

I've never been big into comic books or graphic novels, but the older I get, the more I'm reading them. The storytelling is a unique and beautiful blend of art and words. Now, add in strained alien and a murder mystery... yep, I'm interested! LOL

I'm enjoying the subtle ways the author is working details into the story. It's a very different experience from the television series based on it, which I love, but I'm fascinated by that, as well. The similarities along with the differences are adding layers to the mystery and my interest.

I recommend this read. It's a refreshing plot and not a recycled idea. It has a wide appeal for audience, including sci-fi, alien encounters, mystery, and dark humor.

Außer Asta und Harry scheint niemand aus der Serie in den Comics zu sein. Außerdem endet der Comic in einem Cliffhanger, was automatisch Punktabzug ist. Sorry, ich habe die Regeln gemacht.
