అంకిత్, ఎనిమిదేళ్ల కుర్రాడు. ’ఇలాంటి కొడుకు తమకుంటే బావుండును’ అని ప్రతీ తల్లీ తండ్రి అనుకునేలాంటి అందమైన, చురుకైన కుర్రాడు.

అటువంటి కుర్రాడికి ఒక సమస్య వచ్చింది. మొదట్లో అది చాలా చిన్న సమస్య అనుకున్నాడు అతడి తండ్రి.

కానీ చూస్తుండగానే అది పర్వతంలా పెరిగిపోయింది. ఉప్పెనలా కబళించివేయటానికి ముందుకు దూకింది.

అతడినీ అతడి తండ్రినీ రక్షించగలిగేది ఆ పరిస్థితుల్లో ఒకరే. ....అంకిత్ తల్లికి తాళి కట్టిన భర్త. సెంటిమెంట్, అర్ట్రత, సస్పెన్స్ ల మేళవింపుల సంచలన రచయిత యండమూరి సంతకం ’అంకితం’.

The book starts very well. A young boy is on his death bed because his kidneys have failed.

How does the family get out of this situation become the main plot. After half way the plot goes in haphazard manner. But the finale is atleast good.

A not-so-good thriller novel with bits of philosophy.

It's a normal next door story, filled with lots of life lessons, and learnings. Not as good as the authors other books, but pretty decent.
