Sleeping With A Hacker

Rate this book
It all begins with a 14 year old boy named Griffith who wants to prove to his friends that he can hack with the best of them. He stumbles upon his father's secret, and is forced to go on the run.

Duncan is a junkie who left a promising life, and hates himself for what he's become. Can he escape the abyss? When he prays for a miracle, a young kid runs into his alley and dives into a dumpster, followed by two dangerous men.

Tony is Griffith's dad's boyfriend, and is on his way to deliver a surprise when he sees Griffith run away, and realizes there's a lot about his boyfriend that he doesn't know. Following Griffith, he comes across Duncan, and wonders if he can trust this junkie.

The three of them are forced to go on the run, each of them faced with questions about their future. But for Tony and Duncan there are other things at play, like the sexual tension simmering between them.

This was atrocious on so many levels. I honestly don't even think the author cared.

From the complete lack of editing, to the non-existent formatting that had every line left-justified so the words looked like they were falling off the page, to the spelling issues and use of incorrect pronouns. Ok. I can put up with that.

But don't get me started on the one-dimensional story. The unrealistic plot. The obvious lack of research. Or the three uninspiring main characters who each contradicted every single thing they said and every single move they made, from paragraph to paragraph.

I'm not even going to mention the sex.

This story finished at 15%. That really tells you everything you need to know. Thankfully this was free.
