Hello,

So this is the part were I'm supposed to talk about myself. I write so many stories but I often I have a hard time telling my own. Funny how that works.

My name is Cristina Grenier and I have been writing stories for as long as I could remember . I'm a sucker for romance. I draw from past experiences and from others around me when I write. I enjoy creating characters that everyone can relate to.

Besides writing, I also enjoy painting and figure drawing. I'm a bit of a homebody, my ideal night consists of a chilled bottle of wine, some pasta and Netflix. I really hope you enjoy the stories I create. If you want to keep updated on my new releases and frequent FREE book giveaways, please subscribe to my email group at www.cristinagrenier.com

Fear of the past can be crippling!

This was an obstacle that both characters had to overcome. Aisha had issues from her previous marriage that left her heart broken by her ex when he married his girlfriend and had a baby, something she reenter and desperately wanted but her bio clock was ticking louder and louder. She was not going to risk her heart again. Max had trepidation about his childhood that kept him from a real commitment to love. He initially only wanted Aisha as a sexual conquest, but she resisted, being angry how she was forced to leave her company and work for Max.

Resistance was futile for the both of them and they found themselves needing the other.

This was an enjoyable story about a mature couple who still had issues in their personal lives to work through, by they were able to see that they were each other's future despite an unexpected surprise that forced them both to realize this and grab their HEA.

40 and in love

First book I've read by this author. I really enjoyed this story of older characters who fall in love. I can relate to the ages of the main characters, Max and Aisha.
He was something else. I knew he would eventually win her over. I liked her sassiness. She was perfect for him. I liked the maternal surprise for them in the end. Overall good story, good plot, well developed characters. I liked Carla too. She needs a man. How about her and his best friend Mark???? 😉❤️

No, just......

I used to really like this author's work but this story just didn't do it for me. It was filled with a bunch of filler that didn't contribute to the story in a helpful manner and there were a few grammatical errors. The chemistry with Max and Aisha was OK. Also, there seriously needed to have been an epilogue, even though it was the end, it needed something to tie/end the story on a better note.

I really liked it

It's great to read romantic stories about older individuals and this one was quite good. Nothing over the top; just two unique individuals finding their way to one another and not letting their pasts get in their way. I wish I could find more stories like this one.

Over 40 loving

It's refreshing to read about characters over the age 25. Max and Aisha were made for each other and learned this over time. Loved that they didn't fall into bed right away. Alisha was strong and smart. She had her own money and never once had designs on getting any of Max's. Max finally found a woman who didn't see him as a bank. He was alpha without being over the top. The sex was hot. Would recommend this story. Plan on reading it again. Please write more romance featuring older couples.

Great read!

I loved this story! The characters were well defined and believable. The romance was sizzling and intense. The best friends were spot on. The only thing missing is an epilogue, but that is what my imagination is for.

I liked this sweet, slightly naughty romance. I liked that Aisha was 40, super-competent in her career, and loyal to her friend and to the business the two women had built over 20 years. I could understand her reluctance to date and her antipathy towards Max. I could also understand her sadness at missing out on a husband and children. Max seemed a little too boyish, a little too "Peter Pan." I had trouble understanding Aisha's continued attraction and deepening involvement with someone who seemed so shallow compared to her. Without spoiling the story, I will say that I liked Max better at the end. He redeemed himself in Aisha's eyes and in mine.

This was my first book by Cristina Greiner and I was very pleased with the story. Max and Aisha were an exciting couple. I really enjoyed them never expecting the ever after of their story. Will definitely read more of her books.
