Theo is trapped in Atlantis and Kyra must do everything that she can to get to him. But when she is pulled from the wreckage, one of the healers gives her something that paralyzes her; she can’t move, can’t talk, can’t fight back. And when both Helena and Faro come searching for answers, she is almost glad that she can’t wake up to tell them the truth.

When Kyra is sent home to find the will to live again, she decides to use the time to search for answers. And when she starts to search through her father’s old notebooks, she finds that his plans to protect the innocent citizens of Atlantis might lead to the beginning of a new world.
