When you come from a privileged family, you’re expected to follow a particular path in life. Unless you’re Emily Bradshaw. Defying her father, Emily turned down a full scholarship to Dalhousie University. Instead, she followed her dream and opened her own salon in the small town of Hopedale with her friend. She’s happy. Then her mother vanishes. Her father receives threatening messages and hires Newfoundland Security Services to protect his children. Emily doesn’t like the idea, especially when the man that walks into her salon dressed in a black leather jacket makes her weak in the knees. Emily knows she’s in danger but not the kind her father is worried about.
Keith O’Connor isn’t expecting his newest security job to be anything out of the ordinary. Then he walks into Snippy Gals, a beauty salon in Hopedale. Keith gets the shock of his life when an auburn haired beauty turns to face him. Emily is defiant, sassy, and her sexy curves have him in a complete spin. Fighting his feelings for her becomes almost impossible, but when Emily’s mother is found, a family secret is revealed turning Emily’s life upside down. Can Keith help her cope and keep her out of the clutches of a vengeful stranger?
What does someone say to describe themselves? You could start with giving what others say about you. Scratch that. It doesn't really matter what others think about you. It matters what you think of yourself. So here we go.
First of all, I'm a wife and mother. I'm also a new grandmother. That alone would fulfil any woman's life. To be honest it does. But.....
I'm also a writer. Someone who loves to tell stories of love, suspense, heartache and of course happily ever after. For most of my life, I've written those stories for myself. A type of therapy, I suppose. I love the characters I create. They become part of who I am because there's part of me in them.
So.... Now that you know this about me. I hope when you read my books, you fall in love with them.
You should also know that I'm a Newfoundlander. What is that you ask? Well we're a proud people who live on an island, off the east coast of Canada. Some people believe Canada ends with Nova Scotia. It doesn't. If you keep going east, there is a beautiful island full of amazing people and magnificent scenery. That is where my stories are set because let’s face it. The best stories always come from the places you know and love.
If there is anything else you would like to know about me. Ask me!
Dangerous Beauty is book four in the O'Connor Brothers series. I have been waiting for this book since I finished his brother Ian's book. This book did not disappoint! I so loved Emily or Princess that Keith so affectionately called her. She was so full of sass, sarcasm and heart. Keith obviously being an O'Connor brought all his brawn and character to the table as well. My heart was in my throat a few times during this book for not only suspense but sadness as well. There are plenty of laugh out loud moments, and sigh worthy ones. I can't wait to see which of the O'Connor men will be our hero for the next installment in the series. 5/5 Cross posting to My Reading Reality and Amazon.
So this series is hands-down amazing! I picked up the first book a few days ago and I cannot stop reading. I love this awesome crazy family so much! Each story is completely unique and different .
Yummy Keith was hot and plus he loves Emily. This family is amazing and how they love each other and got each other back. Can't wait to read the 5th book in this series.
This is 7 stars! Off the charts humor, suspense, mystery, sexy and romantic - whats not to love!
Keith big tough looks like a biker, built security company. His mission protect a "spoiled princess" but he discovers an independent scrappy, sassy woman that going to be the death of him. Loud out loud humor, sexy scenes and twist and turn plots. I read three prior books from this author and this one rocks I can't believe it is off the charts that great. Emily you got to love her after all the events would crush most but she is a warrior. Violence 2 sex 2. No cliff hangers and you could read these independently but awesome series!

I enjoy an independent h, but there is a fine line between independence and stupidity masquerading as "stubbornness". This h definitely crossed the line into stupidity far too many times. She seemed rather juvenile to me during the early parts of the book. I like the H, but again, if I were a character in these books, I'd never hire this guy's company! Yikes! The grammar errors are still prevalent in this installment of the series. But it was a fun, easy read and I will move on to the next brother.
I love it when a story comes together so that you have no idea what is going to happen next.. Dangerous Beauty had me hooked from the first word to the last. I couldn't have guessed the outcome if I tried, but it took me from laughter to tears and kept me guessing throughout the whole book. Keith was not my favorite of the O'Connor brothers, but now I think I love him. Keith and Emily's story is a great read, quick, go hit that One-click.
O'Connor brothers book four is another great read. This is Keith and Emily's story! It is filled with suspense, mystery and romance. I loved trying to figure out who was after Emily. As it turned out I was wrong and it was a complete surprise. I can't wait for the next book in this series! I highly recommend this series!
I read this series today and absolutely loved it!! I had read the first one several months ago, and got the 3rd one last week, so I read them all today. I think this one is my favorite so far. I really hope that Bull's story is coming soon!
3.5 stars This is a new author for me. I liked the story but had a hot/cold love for the main characters. They were either annoying or awesome. I'm not turned off from trying the next book though.
I've been waiting for Keith's story and it was worth the wait I can't get enough of this family love them I want them to be mine. Everyone has to read this series !!
This is another enjoyable book with the O'Connors. The book has lovable characters and great suspense with a good romance. Very well told and very entertaining!
