Bill Salus has written what is technically a work of fiction, but is overlayed with the contents of the book of Revelations from the Bible. The story revolves around a family of Jews / Christians and what happens to them in the days before the rapture, and subsequent events prior to the tribulation beginning.

By publication date, this book is the 6th or 7th in a series of 11 books. However, if you read it as the 2nd book you might get a leg up on the story line.

Overall, an interesting way to bring out the earlier parts of the book of Revelations, and quite enjoyable.
