The author is Lindsay Rossum, HowExpert is the publisher. Concise book about the Myers-Briggs INFJ personality, one of the 16 MBTI personality types. The text systematically provides added insight to each of the four characteristic noted by the short cut letters. Sometimes the abbreviations cause a misunderstanding of what the actual traits are. There are other factors going down to four levels of a person's instinctual tendencies and there is some clarification done. Also, when a person is aware, they can make adjustments knowing themselves and their situation. I have been trying to clarify my own results I usually test out as an INTJ but feel that I really have the traits and behavior of an INFJ and this book tends to support my assessment.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The author is spot-on in her description of the INFJ personality type. It felt good to finally have someone understand and accept me as I am rather than expecting me to change.
I was surprised by how short this read was, but when I finished, I appreciated the brevity because they hit on the most important things and didn't prolong the book just to hit a certain page count.
I find it fascinating that this personality type describes me so perfectly. It's not that it is so ambiguous that it could fit anyone. I read up on all the types and no other type was anywhere close to this one.
I took the personality test online multiple times and each time I got INFJ. I read this book to give me some insight into my complex and rare personality.
A valuable insight. I never knew this was really me. After many years of being told by others I was extroverted, it was interesting when several support people asked me to consider that actually I might be introverted. Meet INFJ - the ambivert. I desire deep connection, but not noise!
