When our illicit relationship is found out, I had to walk away—or risk my career.
But seeing her with another man strikes a fire in me I'd never felt before. How long will I be able to refrain from taking what's mine?

When Anna asks John for a committed relationship his fear of commitment kicks in & he walks away. As Anna slowly gets her life back on track & finds friendship with another hospital co-worker, John jealousy gets the better of him. He has to decide what he wants & how he is going to go about getting it. Will John admit he still loves Anna? Will John fight to get her back? Will Anna want John back in her life?
The fun & sexy short story by Tia Lewis & Penelope Marshall is another win by the co-authors. These two have a way of writing together that keeps the reader wanting to know what will happen next. It was entertaining to read how Anna over came her fear of the unknown to fall in love with man who would eventually learn to face his own fears as well. What I absolutely loved about this story was the epilogue, it is a note John writes to his wife Anna on their tenth wedding anniversary & it is amazingly beautiful. This book is meant for mature readers.

oh boy.... This story had potential to be cute. Older, successful doctor "meets" young nurse at his hospital via an online dating app not realizing they work together. A relationship develops, they get caught, and eventually get back together. The cute idea died on the operating table and was killed by poor execution. The dialogue is incredibly stiff and stilted and the characters are underdeveloped and hard to connect too. Even if the conflict and eventual resolution are semi realistic, that is blown out of the water by the "twist" in Anna's background revealed at the very end. This just wasn't a good read for me.
Another fantastic read by Tia Lewis and Penelope Marshall!! Loved the insta love story revolving around our 21st century world!! On line dating is the way of the future!! John and Anna meet on an online dating app and sparks fly!! The attraction is instantaneous!! They form a bond through communication and get to know each other by messages!! Once these two meet face to face they come to realize they must hide their relationship. John is a doctor and Anna is a nurse and they work together at the same hospital. The couple is spotted together and John has to make a decision. His job or love!! He's always been a workaholic with big time commitment issues. John makes a decision, but is it the right one? Wonderful love story with a Techy twist!!
It was enjoyable romance, but for me it lacked job situations - like more work of John and Anna. Anna is a girl with no romance experience after college. And thanks to her BF she get an account on dating up - first one is a disaster. Than she "met" John on-line, and after sometime he discover that they work in the same hospital. And story follows their releationship. It was decent.
This book was so good! What starts out as a Tinder meet, Anna quickly realizes he is a surgeon at the hospital where she is a nurse. She doesn't say anything for awhile but once he realizes it's go time. She is sweet virgin and he is jaded. He pushes her away for his career but realizes he made the biggest mistake of his life. She gets him back and the epilogue is just the sweetest!
Oh my goodness this poor girl's first experience with online dating was AWFUL! Then her next guy is the doc at her new job. Crazy, almost like fate. These two are actually really sweet with each other. I do wish the dialogue flowed a little better but I enjoyed the book. I received an arc.
What to say about this book? For one, HEA indeed. Cute? No Bad? No It was okay nothing more. It wasn't a book for me and I can't put this one in the novella, meh book. The characters were just fit to be together, all wrap up to make an end. Let's just say not my fit.

I enjoyed reading Tia and Penelope's combined story, I felt as if I was right there living their lives along with the characters. Due to explicit sexual content and adult language this novel is recommended for readers 18 and older. Favorite Passages • "Love is the most beautiful thing in the world, Anna. Anna, a 22 year old virgin moves to California with her friend do start a new life, takes up a job as a nurse and starts using Tinder. She makes a connection with a man on there and chats with him briefly but having experienced one bad tinder date prior she’s in no rush to meet said man... until she realises they work for the same hospital, John Michaels a doctor there and she’s a nurse.
Despite hospital policy they decide to give their attraction a go and start seeing each other spending a lot of time together. But when the hospital finds out thanks to someone showing them kissing it puts their jobs on the line and they split, there’s heart break and tears but when another man is seen with Anna, it sparks John into jealousy.
This book was average, it wasn’t great, nor was it terrible, it just left me going is that it?! No real dramas, just a girl who’s never been in love and an older man who’s got commitment issues.
A few minor errors stuck in my head too... the story starts out with tinder app on a smart phone yet by the end the video of them is on physical video tapes?! What? 🤷🏽♀️ and one minute he’s in sweat pants the next he’s taking off his belt and trousers? 🤷🏽♀️
This was an OK read. It wasn't perfect. It felt stale in some parts. It also came off as really cheesy with the dialogue spoken. It made me cringe or roll my eyes at it. Anna has moved to California to start over. She's never had a relationship or even been kissed. There's a twist at the end with her and I have to say it was unexpected but to be honest, it seemed false. If she had that type of degree, I expected her to be a bit more mature for her age. Some if it seemed far fetched. Like a no dating policy between colleagues. Could lose their jobs over it. Seriously? C'mon! I liked John and Anna. They were a great fit together. John had some issues of his own to overcome but they done it together. The epilogue was nice and sweet.
An enjoyable read but I can't say I loved it or disliked it. Thought John was a bit self obsessed and he hurt Anna after telling her he would be there for her. Him getting jealous was too funny. Not sure about John going out to beat up Lucas no matter how much he deserved it. Anna was nice, a bit naive. Thought her little bomb shell about her qualifications was not really needed, there was nothing wrong with her being a nurse. She did not need to be raised to Johns level. All a bit too sacharine sweet for me at the end though the epilogue was nice if overdone.
Anna moved across country to start fresh. She's young, beautiful, sassy and untouched. John is an older surgeon who she meets on a dating site. They are both taken by each other and start dating after only a few weeks. John is her dream man until he's not! Anna tries to move on, but it doesn't work. One night changes Anna's and John's decision about finding there way back. Can these two people find there way? One inexperienced and one afraid of commitment! Read now and find out!!
This felt like a book that was written for teenagers but with a couple sex scenes that weren't even steamy. There wasn't much of a story line, the characters were boring and unrealistic with the amount of talking about their feelings. Poorly written and edited in my opinion. I would not read this again, and it makes me hesitant to even give any of the other books from these authors a try.
This book had potential, but it has far to much going on that the story was spread out to thin, it needed more depth to it. I also felt as if the characters didn't have the zest or spark they should have. Its not a bad book its just O.K hence 2 stars. It needs more time put in to the story.
I tried to read this book but there was nothing to read. The story is half baked and the writing is terrible. The main character Anna is annoying with no redeeming qualities. Its not worth your time.
There were some editing issues that could be overlooked, but it didn't grab onto me and keep me enthralled. It was an okay read for the most part, but there were parts that were not believable.
Can a nurse and doctor grab their happy ever after, after so many obstacles stand in their way? Can Anna and John accept each other despite all their insecurities? Read this book and find out!
What an adventure! A shy book smart girl who wants change in her life, tries his online dating. A hero in my book. I'd never be brave enough but she was and how. An amazing read.
Well written, Anna and John's story is very sweet. Both are driven professionals who question their lives, and they have many ups and downs and insecurities to go with it. A relatable read,
I This is a great satiety with twists and tribulations of life.keeps you intrigued about what will happen next... Would highly recommend for the true romantic......
I think the book was great, it could've included more details in certain areas. But the conclusion was great and the P.S was a beautiful touch and sentiment!
Dating app gone right for once. Anna and John meet on a dating app only to find out they work at the same hospital. What follows is cute and romantic with a little sad, but finishes so sweet. Great read. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
I enjoyed Anna & John's story. They meet on a dating app but when they realize they work at the same place, it might end before it begins. You can't deny the connection they both have but one mistake could, have a John lose the love of his life. Another great book from two amazing authors.

I loved the modern take on this insta-love romance. Online dating has a lot less stigma attached to it nowadays as we are living in such a digital world, it makes sense to want to connect to others online. Anna and John meet via a dating app called Tinder and form an instant attraction. They get to know eachother online, however when they meet in person, they realise that they must keep their relationship a secret as they work together. Once they are spotted together, things take a horrible turn and John must make the ultimate choice of love or his job. He is already a workoholic with commitment issues and values his job above all else. Will he lose the woman of his dreams over his career? This whole story, while romantic also felt very real and organic. The epilogue from John's perspective made me shed a tear and was absolutely beautiful. Another great writing combination. I recieved a copy of this ARC for my honest review, all opinions expressed are my own.
Sexy taboo romance! How do you know someone is a good match for you when you've only met them online? Sometimes it just takes a leap of faith. When Anna and John first met and started chatting, it was so cute. Wanting to take things further but a little afraid to, just when things start to progress, Anna finds out they work together. They certainly had a bumpy road in their budding relationship, but it was so worth it! Love that it's also about believing - in yourself, and in your soul mate. So smexy and steamy, and I loved this book! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy.
Yet another great collaboration with these two awesome authors. Lol. I met my husband online and I myself am a nurse so I can totally relate. This book was steamy, beautiful, well written and engaging. I loved it and finished it in one sitting. I would read anything these two women write about.
