This book is filled with non-stop action, and a forbidden romance.
I could not put this book down, between the action, vampires and romance there was no stopping.
Vampires are causing problems and so Claudia is doing something about it, in the process she finds out that not all vampires are bad. Claudia also finds out there there are things about herself that she never knew. Claudia has more strength than a normal human, and she never thought anything of it until one night she gets so angry that she finds out that she is not normal at all, but she is something more lethal to the vampires than she ever knew possible.
I finished this book in a couple of hours, and this book had me right from the start. The characters were very easy to fall in love with and the world came together in my mind right away to the point that nothing else mattered except finishing the book. To think I actually planned to go to bed early before; obviously that didn't happen but the book was well worth my time. This book was not extremely long but it was very fulfilling with no cliffhanger.
I would not recommend this book to young readers. This book has a lot of violence and also has some explicit sexual scenes and language.
If you are looking for a fast paced book that has vampires and fight and romance scenes then this book is for you.

Forbidden Affections is about Claudia who spends her life tracking and killing all the vampires she can find while she tracks down the King of the Vampires. And about Jake, Prince of the Vampires, who has been tasked with killing the vampire hunter.
With secrets at play and love blossoming what will happen with the pair?
I really enjoyed this book and I loved the twist on how you can kill a vampire (want to know it? go read it!) there are sex scenes in the book but not the type that make you cringe and shudder (which I must say makes a change from some books I've read.)
I would highly recommend this to anyone that loves vampires and paranormal romance. Fans of Jennifer L Armentrout's "Wicked" series are sure to love this.

I quite enjoyed this tale.
It's all about Claudia, vampire hunter extraordinaire, and Nick, Prince of the Vampires, who hides his identity when he discovers Claudia is actually hunting down his father! Nick is charged with hunting the hunter down...
Easy reading. Fast paced, smoothly written. And hot. Very enjoyable.

I definitely recommend this one to PNR readers who enjoy HEA endings, no cliffhangers, and steamy chemistry. There were a few odd phrases (which added to my overall enjoyment), and some areas where I would have liked more detail, but at the same time, I enjoyed the quick and action packed plot line. It kept me engaged, and I finished it in a day. Definitely adding this author to my watch list. I want more!!

I love a good book about forbidden love. This book went beyond forbidden to lethal. Claudia is strong and determined but chemistry with Jake makes her determination waiver a bit.
Seeing how things progress was an amazing journey that has me wanting more.
I recommend this book to Vampire lovers who like kickbutt females and sinfully sexy vampires.

I really liked the build-up of the forbidden love. It really worked well for me. If you like a good romance, I highly recommend this book!!

If you like paranormal, and vampires then this book is for you. It had lots of action, a great them of vampire falls for a vampire killer and a kick butt heroine who does things her own way. I loved Claudia, her personality and the bomb that was dropped a little way in..... y’all about twist. You could feel the connection that she had with Jake and even the hate see feels for his kind.
I love that Claudia opened her mind to the fact that just because some are bad, that not all are. I loved Tyrone. He had me laughing right from the start of the book when we first meet him, to having me love him hard at the end. There was mild steam, action and some witty banter that I really enjoyed. I may not be a fan of vampire books but Jake...... he’s going to be added to my list of exceptions. I won’t give spoilers but would totally read more. 4 star #2OCCJD

I like the intensity and suspense of Claudia and Jake's relationship. Once all is in the open I love the changes to their world that that their union brings about. I'd like to read more about their lives.

Forbidden Affections is definitely a hot enemies to lovers story! Claudia hates vampires and needs to destroy any she comes across. Jake is tasked with finding and destroying the one who is killing off vampires. A chance encounter, and their worlds collide. Grab this book to see how it all unfolds! I loved it!

Claudia hates vampires and her goal is kill all the vampires she can as she searches for the King of vampires. Jake is tasked with finding and getting rid of whoever is responsible for killing off the vampires. I really enjoyed this one and couldn’t put it down. This forbidden love romance is action packed, and filled with violence, drama, spicy scenes, and romance. Highly recommend.

After reading the Fey Trilogy series I knew Storm could write a bad ass para, but she knocked it out of the park with this one. Claudia was a bad ass heroine who's only goal in life was kill the vampires. My heart was thumping throughout waiting for the oh shit moment when Claudia realised who Jake actually was.
Fast paced action packed para highly recommend.
