They call me the Devil from Detroit. It’s a title I truly embrace. There is nothing like a healthy dose of fear to keep the underlings in-check. When I see something I want, I go out and take it. Like this once great American city that had fallen into a death spiral. A million lost souls were looking for a leader and now they’ve got one who rules with an iron fist. Everything was running like a well-oiled machine until the day Victoria Lynn walked into my club. From the moment I saw her, I knew she didn't belong. Her light brown hair accented with blonde highlights, seductive amber eyes and full red lips were just the tip of the iceberg. I scanned the length of her, taking in the most voluptuous body I had witnessed in recent memory, all wrapped up in a stunning black dress. If there was ever a body that was made for sin, it was hers. She had curves that only a real man could maneuver and it was obvious that she could stand up to a good hard ride. From a hundred feet away I could tell that she was either looking for trouble or was sent as some sort of irresistible bait. Either way, I knew that I was her mark as she sauntered the full length of the bar before glancing in my direction. If she was looking for trouble, I was interested. If she was some kind of bait… still interested. No one can f*ck with me. I’m bulletproof and this is my domain. At least that's what I thought, before she rocked my world and turned it completely upside down. Dirty Deeds is an approximately 60,000-word full-length novel that is the first book in the new Ultimate Bad Boys series. If you enjoy bad boys who have met their match, steamy scenes and a healthy dose of intrigue, you will love this story. There is no cheating, no rape and a definite mafia HEA.
DIRTY DEEDS....M.T.STONE...'NUFF SAID This review is from: Dirty Deeds (Ultimate Bad Boys Book 1) (Kindle Edition) Even though I've always said, "If it has MT Stone on it, I buy it", I didn't realize until I purchased her newest book, CE"O" that I may have bought them all, but I haven't read them all...I had bought DIRTY DEEDS back in April, and, I can only assume, I was in the middle of a series, forgot all about it, and I didn't discover I had it, again, until now, and I am so glad I found it!!!! 🔥🔥🔥 First of all, I have to say, this is a different book, and I don't want to tell you the whole story, although I am excited enough to do just that, because I loved the book, and I really hope there is a Book 2.....SOON.🔥🔥🔥 M.T. Stone always writes lots of steam in her books🔥, and she's good at it, 🔥and this one is no different in that aspect, 🔥but, again, to me, Dirty Deeds, is just a different type of book..Plus have you seen the book cover?? 🔥 It's worth the "price of admission!"🔥🔥🔥 We have Devon, a strong, gorgeous sexy all alpha male, who is secure enough in his manhood to handle Victoria, a beautiful, smart, savvy, sexy all alpha female, who even we know will never be "the little woman," and M.T. has written these characters perfectly, there's no power struggle between the characters....They are both strong, and they both respect each other's strengths and help strengthen each other's weaknesses...They both have grown up in "families" (mafia type families), and, it appears, without even the idea of love or a relationship in mind, Victoria searches Devon out, because she knows he is the answer to completing her future plans, and they are BIG plans...Their first meeting is no accident, but since there is an instant connection, they both soon realize they are 2 halves of a whole, and they are 100% equals...See? Different!!! Read DIRTY DEEDS (ULTIMATE BAD BOYS, BOOK 1)... Right now, it's only 99 cents!!! 🔥🔥🔥 AND as a bonus, for those of you who have not read her Power Trilogy (Power Trip, Power Play & Power Shift), first, why not??? But, second, you are in luck, because it is included in this book too....You are actually getting 4 really good books for 99cents!!!! 🔥🔥🔥 Why no voting buttons? Devon comes from Detroit. His family has their hands in many businesses. His Granpda Joe was head of their family in Detroit while his uncle and dad went in other directions. Devon decided that Detroit was no longer a place he wanted to be so he decided to find his own city to run. Victoria comes to "Devon City" on purpose to seek out Devon. She is actually the daughter of The Syndicate that runs the East Coast. She needs his help but he has no clue yet as to why or what she will do to get it. This book is suspenseful, full of dangerous situations, family issues, sex but no romance. It's written well and fairly a quick read. I voluntarily read an Advanced Reader's Copy of this book.
This was a pretty good story. Not my normal choice. Devon is the leader in a new town he built up with different mob families and backgrounds. He meets Victoria who is the big boss's daughter and is trying to have them all killed. Lots of ups and downs and who is doing what. You really have to pay attention to keep up. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
I really liked this read. Victoria is a great character. The story is fast paced with lots of suspense and drama. The chemistry between Victoria and Devon is steamy. An entertaining read.
I am not crazy about Mafia-type stories, but I enjoyed the relationship between the two main characters very much, an alpha male, and a really strong, feisty female.(I voluntarily reviewed this free ebook).
Devon was from a mafia family in Detroit. The rest of his family has gone legit but in spite of his MBA, Devon wants to be part of the mafia. He takes his money, a couple of mafia family members and goes to a failing city. He revitalizes part of downtown and attracts new business. The business owners pay him protection money. He has organized the police, politicians and gang members to listen to him. Things are going great until she walks into his club. Victoria is beautiful, brave and looking for him. She knows more than she should and she is loves sparring with Devon in words. Then she gets taken out of the bar buy a rival Irish gang member and Devon goes to hunt him down. He saves Victoria but ends up killing the Irishman so now he is going to war. Victoria warns him he has more problems than the Irish. She is the only daughter of the biggest East Coast mob boss and her dad is watching Devon. Her dad is unhappy with how Devon came in and took over without checking in. Now Devon has to decide to fall into Victoria's plan or go it on his own. This is a good mafia story but I was uncomfortable with the drug use by the main characters and their lack of morals in business. They would do almost anything to get ahead. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.
M.T. Stone did it again. This book took you through the mob life. You had Devon who thought he was the king of making things better. He grew up from very independent and smart line of men. A grandfather "papa joe" who was the head honcho in his day and his dad who was the best in his business. So, Devon got the best of both worlds. Then you have the fiesty, sassy, and beautiful Victoria who had lead a very eventful but tough life. She had to prove herself not only to her father but also herself. That she could do the job that her dad did. The way Stone works the different gangs, police officers, and how the drugs can be run was fantastic. There are twists, turns, lies, spies, murder and family who you cant trust. This book will keep you on your toes and guessing on who the true traitor is here. A must read! Awesome book!!!
Devon moves to town and takes over. Dubbing it "Devon city". Enter Victoria. She's more then what she seems and isn't exactly truthful at first. The chemistry is off the charts. I was hooked from the prologue. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.
A fast paced read with danger, action, twists and turns to keep you guessing, lies and deceit, spies and murder, strong, feisty and sassy woman, dominant alpha man, instant chemistry and so much more. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Dirty Deeds was a gripping, raw and gritty book. It's definitely not sunshine and unicorns, but rather, it takes you through Devon's mob life and involved drug use. Victoria was a strong, fiery woman, just what Devon needed. They weathered the storm together and worked really hard to get past their current issues and find their HEA. Darker than some mafia romances, this story was steamy, riveting and intense. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review. Stories involving syndicates, mobs or mafia always intrigue me. It's usually very clear which side will win. Though I never doubted that the main characters in this book would come out on top, per se, I just never really seemed to care if they did or not. This would be an indicator that I couldn't really fully invest in any of the characters or plot. This book definitely had its moments but they were few and far in between to really be memorable.
The twists and turns in this book kept me reading through the night and wee hours of the morning. You never really knew where some folks' loyalty lay, even at the end of the book.
The book is not very romantic, so if you're looking for a mafia romance, you won't find it between these pages. For me, though, the level of intrigue more than made up for anything else. Devon may have though he was bad-ass, but Victoria really gave him a run for his money - she's good!
I voluntarily read & reviewed an ARC of this book.
If you like mafia conflicts this is the book for you. This book keeps you guessing on who is more evil. Mafia princess wants control, but her father said he is giving it to her half brother. Some one is trying to kill her. Is it her father, the Irish mob or her grandfather.
A good read. I enjoyed this story. Lots of twists to keep you interested. I was provided a complimentary copy of this book so I could give an honest review.
This was a different read. It's dark and wasn't exactly what I had been expecting. This follows a couple that are in the drug trade/mafia style life. Victoria grew up in it and is determined to become the next head of the Syndicate. Devon grew up aware of it as his uncle and grandfather were in the mafia style life. He starts over in a different city but has grand plans for it. Victoria and Devon are attracted to each other from the get go but Victoria wants something from him. It ends up benefiting them both but she definitely has ulterior motives. This has a darker theme and is not really bad boy with heart of gold theme. I didn't get that vibe. Victoria is definitely in charge when it comes to mafia life and what needs to be done. The sex is explicit and it has some kink in it. The story was interesting and different than other things that I have read within the mob/mafia sub-genre. It wasn't exactly to my tastes but the story was well written. The book is the first in a new series and so not all points are followed to their clear conclusion. A lot of things are left vague, to be followed in a later book. This was well done and doesn't make you feel like the book wasn't finished or that you are left hanging but you don't get clear answers and it leaves you with a few questions. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.
"Dirty Deeds" is the first book I've read from this author and I'm looking forward to more. This story is such a rollercoaster of emotions! The ups and downs, the twists and turns in the storyline where everyone is bad and dirty and the passion between protagonists is incendiary. M.T. Stone skillfully takes readers on this thrilling ride. I couldn't put this book down until the last word and then went back to the beginning and read it again. 5 stars indeed!
A tale of a mob princess, Victoria and her pursuit to be mob queen. Devon is a handsome low level but up and rising member of the underground that she hand picks to help her accomplish her goal. This book has mild violence, a few sexy times and an ending that leaves it open for a part II. Though I do enjoy reading about a strong female lead character I would have liked a little more romance and not so many loose ends that left me wondering.
I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book provided vy the author.
>I am an independent reviewer. This book is a standalone mob romance with a questionable HEA. I normally love mob books. This one started out so strong. Devon was brought up in a mob and business environment. He decided to stake his claim on a failing city. He seems fair and successful at first. He does bribe, but using the authorities and gangs to self patrol really leads to a city no longer in decay. His end game is to fix the city and then get into the drug distribution game. I disliked how he wasn't satisfied. He also thought of himself as a savvy businessman, yet he couldn't see that cocaine would tear his city back down again?
>Victoria is an unknown until about halfway through the the book. She is sexy and attracts Devon tight away. For a smart mobster, he does one Google search on her, finds nothing, but still decides to have her. Their first sexual encounter is the least romantic thing I have ever read. They both snort coke and then he allows himself to be choked during sex. Where is the alpha male? Victoria runs him from that point on.
>There is a true mystery involving whom in Victoria's family is trying to harm both her and Devon. Devon doesn't seem to mind being a puppet in the whole scheme. As a mystery, the book tells a decent story. As a romance, there really isn't one. Victoria is just devious, not loving. Devon's actions have to constantly prove himself to her. The description of the cocaine field in Mexico were strange. The feelings I got were those of a loving family farm, beauty all around. The reality of a cocaine habit is not the least bit beautiful.
>This book is appropriate for an adult audience. I am giving the book 3 stars.
Devon comes from a family involved with the Italian mafia. Even though his immediate family has gone legit and he has a MBA, Devon prefers to live on the shadier side. He leaves his hometown of Detroit after it failed and moved to another small failing city. He uses his business sense and his mafia experience to build his new gang. He starts to revitalize downtown and encourage new businesses to move in. He provides protection for the businesses and he works with gangsters' politicians and police to make it a better and more profitable place to be. Then one night she walks into is club and she is sexy and outrageous. Her name is Victoria and Devon is immediately drawn to her. When he gets called away, he sees that an Irish family member has gotten hold of her and forcing her to leave. He follows and rescues her, killing the Irishman. Now he has been drawn into a rival gang war. Victoria is more than she seems. She is the daughter of the biggest mafia on the coast and she has been sent to check out Devon. She is also in a power struggle with her half brother over who will inherit her father's position. After watching Devon, she may have found the partner she needs to make her move. First though she has to teach him about playing in the big leagues. Devon doesn't realized how negatively her father took his takeover of the town. Devon isn't used to seeing the bigger picture. This is a good mafia read with lots of twists and turns. I did have a problem with the lack of morals the main female character had. I was especially turned off by her drug use. I voluntarily received a copy of this story and this is my honest review.
I received an advance reader copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review. I'm not a mafia/MC reader so I am just reviewing it based on the writing itself.
The story started off pretty well, setting the scene with Devon and how he revitalized a rundown town, now aptly called Devon City. He's not mafia but he's not necessarily on the straight and narrow path either. Then in walked Victoria and grabbed his attention. I was interested in knowing who Victoria really was and her plan for Devon. There was an obvious attraction between them which led to a couple steamy encounters but no admission of feelings from either side. The book seemed to be about Devon but then it actually turns out to mostly be about Victoria with Devon along for the ride. Devon was a big shot at first and then we see what little protection and control he actually had. I will say the twists with Victoria's family were a little interesting but the pace or something was off about it overall.
I was reading just to get through it and then it finished with loose ends. It is the first book in a series so I believe we may hear more from Victoria and Devon in the future. There is definitely unfinished family business for Victoria and how long she will have power, if she really has any.
SPOILER/WARNING: There is drug use/erotic asphyxiation in the book. It only happens once and is ultimately used as a trust exercise but if that's a trigger for you, skip their first visit to Devon's apartment.
M. T. STone pulls you in with intrguing stories and interesting characters. This time it's a Bonnie and Clyde in the Mafis romance. It's a well paced romance with mystery, danger and steamy sex. Devon and Victoria get caught up in mafia business and fight for their lives while trying to figure out how to come out the winners. This book is a great read and will hold your interest.
I really enjoyed this story - Stone switched up so many traditional character roles Our heroine is the bad a@@ and the male lead well I am amazed he survived without her as long as he did... Lots of twists in this one, I am not even sure who is guilty of what and who is playing what games. Some of the characters are only known through secondary mentions but they are key players in what is to come - or at least I think they are (yeah this one will have you on your toes and guessing) Some scenes I felt could have used a little more meat but overall great flow. The reason for the 3 stars instead of 5 - There is no HEA (I can't decide if she is a good thing or bad one) and the book ends abruptly - no cliffhanger, no she left me without a word, he has been kidnapped and ...nothing dramatic was happening so.....? Yeah, there are a lot of open-ended questions without answers - I actually looked at the back of my kindle like" am I missing something" granted I did have an unedited version. I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy of this book.
Headline: A ruthless woman for a ruthless man is a match made in the underworld. 4.5 stars. I am voluntarily reading and honestly reviewing an ARC version of Dirty Deeds by M. T. Stone. Wow. Devon and Victoria were both amazing, that I’m not sure I can really describe it. 2 people who have grown up in some part of the underworld come together to rule it all. Both characters were developed very well. They had great chemistry together, sexual and intellectual. I was riveted by this book. I didn’t exactly intend to learn things about the drug trade, but I’m pretty sure I did. I will admit, there was one moment where I considered stopping and not reading further. I think it made me uncomfortable because it described things that I truly hate. Though, I kept going and I do not regret that. Right after my hesitation, I was pulled in so deeply, there would be no escape. I could not put the book down after that. Happy Reading!
Determined to win over her father, Victoria Lynn decides to step in and make a deal. Devon moved to start his "own" city, not knowing that he was putting himself in the bulls eye for a very powerful man. Instant attraction blooms between the two. Will Devon agree to work with Victoria Lynn? Will Victoria be victorious over her father and brother?
This was definitely a hot read! Had everything I love with mafia reads: hot sex, blood and romance. Loved how both had brains and were willing to work together. The instant attraction between the two, plus Devon willing to admit to his feelings was great! Cannot wait for more from this author!

**I received this ARC in exchange for an honest voluntary review** Honestly could not get through this book. Only got to the 25% mark before finally giving up. Usually Mafia stories are my favorite to read but this one just could not keep my attention :/
