This book is a good one-time-read for all the rom-com lovers. It has been narrated while keeping indian readers in mind with a lot of hindi slangs and verses being merged with the story. Embeded with a lot of feelings 'Love buddy' will be a joyful yet emotional ride for rom-fiction lovers!

'Love buddy' by by Zahir Chauhan is a book which took be by surprise. To be very frank, I expected it to be a usual romantic novel but it proved me totally wrong. And I am glad that it did.

The cover is simple yet catchy . The use of words which symbolises both love and friendship makes the title all the more attractive. It also gives an idea about the theme of the story . The tagline ' is love worth the wait?' is something that caught my attention at the very first go and made me pick this book immediately. The blurb is good enough. The writing style is so captivating that once you start reading, it becomes impossible to take a break.

The narration is worth appreciating. The author very cleverly weaves the words along with the feelings and makes a web, from which it becomes very difficult to come out. The lucid language makes it easier to comprehend the story. The plot is really unique and the twists and turns acts as a gem to the story. I simply loved the character of Kabir, who despite being tested by life time and again, never loses hope.

A perfect amalgamation of friendship, love, pain and dreams. If you like to read romantic novel with punches of twists n turns then you must pick this one.

Blurb: Kabir and Kashish have been the best of buddies ever since. Everyone saw them to be head over heels with each other, but they were not!

Cover: The cover design of the book is lovely and treat to the eyes I can say. The red heart shaped lock is cherishing and it goes with the title too. So, it’s a good job done by Raj, Team StoryMirror.
Title: The title is catching and romantic indeed. Text design is unique. And keeping the theme and the substance of the story in mind, I can say that the title is appropriate.
Language & narration: The language of the book is lucid and simple to comprehend. I would like to mention that there are few places where I found rich words in grammatical meaning and I have not come across such words very often while reading; so (according to me), good selection of words to ornament the sentence I must say. Uses of Hindi line and words (and Punjabi accent also) are there while in conversation and the conversations are printed in italic font to make a different look from the script and to emphasize at places where needed. Narration of the story is simple yet gripping I can say. I would say that the story took a little time to pick up the fast pace at first, but after a point, it maintained the flow intact till the end. It would be better to say that the visualizing narrating style of the author helped me to connect with story directly.
Plot: The plot has been crafted well with cherishing moments to rejoice. The sweet flavor of nostalgia and the deep bond of love and friendship made the plot compact enough.
Setting: The story has set in Pune. As the story moves forward it will be covering Shimla, Delhi, Mumbai, Qatar, Ahmedabad, Chandigarh, Singapore, Khandala Ghat.
Characterization: The characterization is good and well portrayed. There are not many characters in the entire story, so the attention of the reader won’t divide in between reading. As the main characters (including the two protagonists ‘Kabir’ & ‘Kashish’) have done justice to their respective roles, hence I can say that the characterization presented aptly by the author. The name of the characters that are mentioned in the book are- Rajat Thakur, Samar Rana, Anika Verma, Kashish Khan, Nijo, Kabir Shroff, (parents of some of the characters), (Bala, Riya, Anna, Alia, *Mr. Ratnani), Patil Sahib, Yadavji, SP Shauryavardhan Singh.
Theme: Love, Romance, Friendship, Nostalgia.
Story in a nutshell: Kabir was travelling to Pune to attend the engagement (ring ceremony) of Samar & Anika, both of them were very close friends to Kabir back in their college days. But it’s not just the 3 of them, actually there was 6 members in their ‘gang’ of college. They were not just college mates or just friends; the gang of 6 were the best friends of each other during their entire college life. The other three friends of them- Rajat, Nijo & Kashish were also coming all the way to Pune to attend the engagement. It’s been 6 long years since they last met each other and all of them were well settled with their individual professions in their respective lives. It’s gonna be a reunion of old college buddies and all of them were pretty much happy, very excited, enthusiastic after seeing each other after so long time. Samar & Anika were in a relation with each other since their beginning of college days and after establishing themselves in a good and firm position, they decided to take their relationship into the next level. Kabir & Kashish were two best buddies and closest friends of each other since their college time. They shared the strongest bond and they were actually the other half to complete each other. All of them shared some precious memories of their college days. People in college and everybody thought that Kabir & Kashish were in love with each other but they were not.
After meeting in the reunion all of them were busy in enjoying each other company and having fun to the fullest, but Kabir & Kashish were busy in cherishing their past, all their sweet golden moments and nostalgic memories with each other. Now things have changed as Kabir got to know that Kashish was in a relationship with some other person and the strange fact was that he did not like this at all. He was in a big dilemma and was confused too. Slowly he realized the reason behind the change in his behavior and finally (with help of his friends) he realized and did admit that he loves Kashish. But as I said earlier, he also aware about the fact that Kashish is now in a relationship with someone and things are out of his hands now. After getting over of another dilemma, following his heart (as he always do, to live life with no regret), he decided to confess his feelings in front of her. But then something happened, that changed the scenario overnight and Kabir & his 3 friends ended up by landing behind the bar (in police custody)!
What happened suddenly that they ended up being inside the lock up? What happened after that? Will Kabir ever be able to put forth his feelings in front of Kashish? What happened to Samar & Anika’s engagement? Will Kabir get the love of his life in Kashish? Who was the person that Kashish was in love with? What will Kashish do finally? To know the rest of the story and to get all the answers, grab your copy of this book now, and go through it.
My Verdict: Author Zahir Chauhan has portrayed the emotions and the different shades of the person while managing personal life, and approaching towards professional life, very aptly with perfect finishing. He has portrayed the mental dilemma of Kabir at different stages (back in college life & now) quite thoughtfully and the way he portrayed the characters, is like pretty much lively in reality. The reunion, having the fun and ‘boy’s talk’ and everything made me nostalgic and brought back my college memories instantly. The dilemma of love about accepting proposal, the decision of confessing feelings on time, the strong friendship among best buddies, the unconditional pure connection between Kabir & Kashish- everything was connecting enough. Conversations are being coated with humor at places. Through Rajat’s life, we can see the pros and cons of corporate world & system, and how that can change a person’s inner side. It shows us that gradually, or professional life creates distance between our old ties and to keep the balance between these to, somewhere we lost the old full of life version of ourselves. The innocent friendship and care concern touched me. Lastly, I would like to say that, this is sweet tale of love & friendship and I loved it completely.
Drawbacks: There are quite a few places, where I found grammatical errors, printing mistakes. It needs a thorough and compact editing once. I am listing those errors here- page 6= ‘fivev’ / ‘five’, page 18= ‘what do mean’ / ‘what do you mean’, page 41= ‘did he accompany her to Pune’ / ‘did he not accompany her to Pune’, page 89= ‘don’t lie to try’ / ‘don’t try to lie’, page 91= ‘Nut to spend’ / ‘But to spend’.
Recommendation: I would love to recommend this lovely book to romance lovers, love readers and to everyone who are or once in love.
Rating (Overall): 4/5 Stars.

Zahir has penned a story which is so compelling. I am also very much sure that many of us would have been in the dilemma or the situation that was portrayed in the story in such an effective way. I can confidently say that this is my story, this is your story or rather, this is our story.

We all would have had an experience of first time love or would have at least been a witness of someone falling into it. The experience can be correlated only by those who had felt this feeling and for those who haven't, fret not, this novel can sill make you understand that.

The story begins with bunch of friends Samar,Anika, Nijo, Rajat and last but not the least, the protagonists Kabir Shroff and Kashish Khan. While these friends come together after a while for the engagement of Samar and Anika, things start turning against them. They face lock-up.

Why did this happen?
Who was responsible?

Around this time, Kabir understood that he loved Kashish but did not had the guts or rather the intuition to tell her(may I say propose?) but now Kashish is already in love. She was in love with Prithvi but still had soft corner for Kabir.

What has happened in the end is a perfect way to conclude the story. The story line may be the same or the usual stuff but the way it was written gives a uniqueness to it as a whole. I am sure the readers will not be disappointed. Give it a read today.

This is one of the best romance themed novels I've read. A contemporary romance, bubbling with the vibrance of youth, this novel has indeed turned out to be a masterpiece. Unlike most other stories of the similar genre, this story has maintained a steady pace throughout. This is a story of love and friendship, a story so deep that you'll definitely feel yourself being a part of it from the very beginning. Characterisation has played an important role in the story. I was especially amused by the character of Kabir, the protagonist. It has been really amazing that the author has penned down even the most intricate details about his character which finally added the cherry on top of the cake! You can actually feel the dilemma which Kabir went through. The author has an uncanny ability to keep his readers glued to the novel till the end, which is indeed praiseworthy!

The cover and the title are so attractive. The blurb is short and crisp. The language is simple and lucid. The theme is so nice and really sweet. The storyline is strong with a twist in the end. The characters are well designed.

I guess starting from the title of the book would be better. A newly creative title by Author actually. Including 2majir relations of life, love and Friendship which makes a life better and miserable as well. Cover is simple but yet too beautiful.
And in this book you can judge the book by its cover. A simple but amazing story, plot and the narration will keep you engaged to the end. Love stories have been my first priority and books like this make the moments of reading the book wonderful.
A different beautiful tale of 2hearts and the intense part of Kabir will make you read this book again.

A story written with lots of love signifying the strongest bond of love & Friendship. I was lost in the story that i forgot about everything, reading it was like exploring the book, floating through each word. I love the cover page its really beautiful, simple & attractive, which forces you to read the content. The story revolves around 5 friends which reminds me of my friends, they were caring, understanding & accepting each others good- bad qualities together, friends who laugh with you, cry with you & when you need them most they just hold your hands at any situation which makes you to understand that what is true love of your life. Where you can understand the dilemma between heart & mind. The first 3/4th part was awesome but when the rest 1/4th part takes you to different world with its twist and turns, it takes the story to the another level. Strongly recommend to my friends and tell your friends to read this book & assure you that you will get something after reading "Love buddy"by "ZAHIR CHAUHAN".

Let me start writing my heart about this lovely Novel ‘Love Buddy’ by Zahir Chauhan. I was almost lost while reading 'LOVE BUDDY' & it made me remember mine those golden days when I was struggling with similar feeling, pain & jealousy. I felt like I am the same character as kabir in the story. It touched my heart.
Ultimately story reminds us about the life how it should be lived by loving each and every moment of it, no matter its rough or smooth. Author has beautifully carved the story of friendship, adventure, kindness, love and most importantly the desire to live ones dreams.

It’s a story of friendship & love between Kabir, Samar, Rajat, Nijoy, Anika and Kashish. All these characters will remind us the power of true friendship. Author conveyed his story heart fully and inspire the millions of readers to follow their hearts instead of mind. Why? Read book & get to know.

If you stuck at any dilemma in your life and confused what to follow heart or mind? Then this book is for you. A must read for ’LOVE BUDDIES’. Book cover is really beautiful & quality of pages are up to the mark.

Love Buddy : Is love worth the wait is written by Zahir Chauhan.

Title and cover
Starting from the cover and the title both are really beautiful which can attract anybody's attention easily. And it's also justifies the story well. I personally liked the cover very much. Then the font is legible and the paragraphs are not too lengthy. All together it really convenient.

Story and narration
It is the story of six college best buddies, Kabir, Samar, Rajat, Nijoy, Avika and Kashish. Kabir the main protagonist is a guy who is always in dilemma whether to follow his heart or brain. He always ignored his feelings for Kashish from college onwards and when he realised it after six years it was too late as she was already in serious relationship with someone else. Will they meet or will their love story remain unfinished.
The narration is awesome as there are no loop holes and it moves forward without any speed breakers coming it's way. The author was able to create excitement from the beginning onwards as we all are very much connected to our friends and college life and it was fun to read it too.
Friendship, love and wait are the main ingredients of this awesome book. And was able to create it's magic.

A short story with clean, crisp storyline; lucid writing style; the author has played his cards pretty well. In the starting, it seems to be a casual romance, however, the end was surprising and acted like an icing on the cake. Also, the most powerful tool of the story lies in the bonding shared by the friends. Simple yet powerful story weaved with the plethora of emotions. Also, the story makes one reminisce about the good old college days and this makes it more interesting. Overall, a short story with a blend of emotions, friendship, love, and much more. Recommended to all romance lovers.

Negatives– First, I wanted to read more of romance between Kashish and Kabir. Did they got married or not? Second, the point when Kabir cancels his flight and plans to go to Mumbai along with Kashish, they stop at a certain place on the highway to talk about their relationship. This, however, according to me didn’t fit into the square as for what if they didn’t stop at that certain point? Then how could others have reached before Kabir and Kashish.

‘Love Buddy’ by Zahir Chauhan is a yet another unusual story after his debut novel ‘The Perfect Dilemmas’. It includes the essence of love, friendship, relations, ambitions, and Life. It is an ordinary story written in a beautiful manner.

The title is appropriate with reference to the story. It gives a hint about the stuff that is wrapped in a delightful cover. The tagline “Is Love worth the wait?” is equally lovely complimenting the title. It arouses the interest of the reader and pushes him into picking up the book and read it at once.

The narration is amazing. The author weaved the words and amalgamated his thoughts to bring out a wonderful story. The choice of words is perfect. The simplicity of the narrative will make it easier for a novice to enjoy reading the book.

There is a flawless flow in the content that accentuates its beauty and makes for an amazing experience of the reader. The central character of Kabir faces the ambiguity of whether he actually loves Kashish and whether he should confess his feelings to her. To this thing, each one of us can connect since all of us face predicaments in life. I admire the ambitious persona of Kabir who is portrayed as a person with strong will-power and who always listens religiously to his heart.

Though coherence is maintained yet there were few grammatical errors. I would suggest revising the book thoroughly to make it error-free. Also, I would take this opportunity to appreciate the storytelling of the author. I absolutely loved his style of writing and therefore would suggest him to pick up an out of the league genre and pen down a yet another engaging story exhibiting his prowess.

For the ones who love to read romantic stuff filled with the bits of humor, friendship, and dreams, this is a nice read. Go for it!

What happens when life forces us to do things which are out of order or out of question? The intricacies & the unpredictable moments are what makes everything aghast
& forces us to take decisions which conflicts our real nature.
That's when a person realizes the most important thing in life is love, though career & dreams play some role & importance in our lives. However, happiness is all
counts. At the end of the day, all the wealth & treasures cant buy you anything worthwhile, if you cant be happy.
Keeping this fact at bay, the arsenal has been equipped with a beautiful book, a story that will not only touch hearts, but will definitely bring a positivity in our
lives.
The cover is simple, yet beautifully designed. Attractive for the readers.
Title is good & catchy, apt with the story in hand.
Theme consists of friendship, love, trust, bond, family and many other aspects interwoven meticulously.
Story consists of few friends who meet in a marriage of an old college mate, leading to a planned reunion where the central character is oblivious to the love he has
for his old classmate. Later did he realize that things were already out of hand & nothing can be done. Is he too late now? Or perhaps there's still some chance left!
Buy this book to find out more.
Language is simple, lucid, mellifluous with no errors.
Narration is superb.
A book worth reading.

A story of just 2 nights and a day- Really!! As an avid reader I know it is difficult to write a crisp and to the point story with factors like drama, suspense & of course romance, but love buddy is one such book which has all the mentioned elements! An interesting read about how it is very important to realize and express your feelings at the right time! What it feels when in front of your eyes you see the person you loved is with someone! What it means like a true friendship! Is love really worth the wait? If you want to know answer of all these questions please read Love Buddy!! Enjoyed every bit of it!

Love Buddy is what you read to remind you of the bubbly, effervescent days at college. Of laughter and tears. Of the fresh fragrance of innocence.
Of friendships and romance. The book grabs your attention from the 1st page and the flow and the narrative and the suspense (oh will Kabir's heart win?) will make it hard for the reader to keep the book down.
Mind or Heart? The eternal dilemmas that we face in day to day decision making is brought to fore in this gripping story of friends catching up at a re-union.
As a reader , you feel that warm glow of happiness as you read the banter between friends.

A wonderfully written story by Zahir Chauhan. Got connected with the story from the first
chapters itself. Each and every line written will make you fall in love with the story. The small
moments between Kabir and Kashish are so realistic that there are chances that a one may get
carried away, but hold on that’s now enough, the climax is the story changer. Author has really
played well with the words to keep the readers like me engaged. Overall a must read story and
would love to read more of such stories by Zahir. Another Fan added!!

thought I know the end but as I moved towards the end the story took a you turn completely! I
liked the way the main character Kabir and Kashish have been described. The entire story is
narrated over just two nights with some or the other bizarre taking place in each chapter. Love
Buddy is a true delight. A must read for everyone who are looking for something different
especially in Romance Genre.

A romantic story with an absolute fresh perspective- highly recommended

Love buddy is definitely one of the best books i have ever read. Loved the title and especially the tagline. The story is awesome and quite interesting and close to reality, realistic because I could relate myself with the characters of the book. Do not read if you are looking for a fairy tail feel but DO read if you really want to read a romantic novel with fresh perspective. Highly recommended to everyone. Big congratulations to the author for writing this one.

Love Buddy’ by Zahir Chauhan is a yet another unusual story after his debut novel ‘The Perfect Dilemmas’.

Romance, thriller, drama and Suspense all in one book .......... really? I really had a doubt but as I
started turning the pages each and every chapter was proving me wrong. A very quick and
engaging story which did not put me down the book until I turn the last page. Beautifully written
and as mentioned by Author- it really has all the elements of a bestselling book. I am sure this
will soon become a bestselling book.

Love buddy is really an amazing book.....even the name is so romantic and the tag line goes completely with the story as it say “is love worth the wait” , that it will automatically draw your attention. A perfect blend of emotions, just perfect characterization, crisp story, easy language and just the perfect end. Lovebuddy kept me entertained till the last page and I am sure it will keep you entertained too.
