As an MFL teacher I should know better than to attempt to learn basic Romanian from an audiobook. I could not tell you how to say a single word in Romanian...

This series of lessons is a mix of the absolute beginner audio from the romanianpod101 site and although the site has lots of nice additional features, this collection is handy for learning on the go as the lessons follow one after another. The teaching is excellent but would be improved by having less of the cultural background and more active practice of the language. This however is a minor quibble as it is extremely interesting. I would recommend both this audio book and membership to the site.
