A spate of murders leaves homicide detective Anthony Burgess and his partner, Leslie, confused. They cannot seem to get to the bottom of the “Kisser” murders. That is, until the chief’s daughter goes missing and Burgess and Leslie are forced to go undercover. They get a lead and Leslie dresses up as a hooker. She is picked up by a man that matches The Kisser’s profile. Burgess follows them but is kidnapped somewhere along the route.
He finds himself in a mansion in the Hamptons that seems to have magical powers. His kidnappers, Sprecht and Caden, seduce him with their powers, leading to the best sexual experience of his life. But he still has to escape, especially once he discovers that they're vampires.

Short story, 60-90 minute read. Thin, abrupt plotline,; anticlimactic ending. Reads to emulate a police murder mystery, with two MMM scenes dropped in gratuitously. With significant rework, it might make a decent novella/novel. As I am a gatherer of books, I collect books and ebooks from a variety of sources: Goodreads wins, BookBub, BookFunnel, Riffle, Prolific Works, emails from authors and publishers, and others. I do lose track of their sources. But, as a reader, I feel I should give an honest, unencumbered review for all I read.
This was definitely unique and a bit different from the usual vampire tales. Burgess is looking for a serial killer but in the process he goes through a very terrifying yet erotic experience. It was well written with a very gripping concept. It was enjoyable.
