Ernst Cassirer was one of the major figures in the development of philosophical idealism in the first half of the twentieth century, a German Jewish philosopher. Coming out of the Marburg tradition of neo-Kantianism, he developed a philosophy of culture as a theory of symbols founded in a phenomenology of knowledge.

Molto interessante, spiegato bene (soprattutto per chi, come me, ha un livello molto basso di conoscenza della filosofia in generale).
Unica pecca è che ci sono delle parole in greco non tradotte, probabilmente per via dell'edizione un po' "vecchia", dato che ho un altro libri di questa casa editrice ristampato recentemente che riporta tra parentesi le traduzioni alle parole greche che vi si trovano.
