After waking up in a hotel room in Vegas married to waitress Belle Vaughn instead of wolf heiress Maribella DeVaughn, Parker knows he’s made a mistake of epic proportions. One that his family, money and position can’t fix for anyone involved. There will be no annulment or divorce. Not only because wolves mate for life, but because of Woolven Industries. They can’t afford another scandal. Belle doesn’t understand why it’s such a big deal until the full moon Parker tries to turn her and fails—because she’s a vampire. They aren’t even the same species, but somewhere along the way, the show they put on for human society became real and that mistake became something not only worth dying for, but worth living for, too.
Saranna De Wylde has always been fascinated by things better left in the dark. She wrote her first story after watching The Exorcist at a slumber party. Since then, she’s published horror, romance and narrative nonfiction. Like all writers, Saranna has held a variety of jobs, from operations supervisor for an airline, to an assistant for a call girl, to a corrections officer. But like Hemingway said, “Once writing has become your major vice and greatest pleasure, only death can stop it.” So she traded in her cuffs for a full-time keyboard. She loves to hear from her readers.
Saranna writes nonfiction under the name Sara Lunsford. Her memoir about her time as a corrections officer called Sweet Hell on Fire releases Nov 1 from Sourcebooks.
Finally we get to the fun brother! Parker is the baby brother. He is the one who is not the alpha nor the beta so he can have fun and cut up where his stuffy older brothers can’t. But boy has he stepped in it this time. He was sent to Las Vegas to marry Maribella DeVaughn in his brothers place. It was a political marriage that got resolved in the previous book but we hadn’t found out what happened and why. This story gives us the goods and resolves some issues left unfinished in the previous books. I recommend reading them first so you get the most out of this one. The previous books are: Big Bad Billionaire (The Woolven Secret Book 1) Princess of the Pack (The Woolven Secret Book 1.5) The Werewolf Tycoon's Secret Baby (The Woolven Secret Book 2) I really got a kick out of this book. Parker is fun and loveable and deeper than even he thought. I heartily recommend.
So baby Woolven goes to Vegas to do the right thing by marrying Maribella Vaughn as his brother the Alpha has requested but he mistakenly believes that Belle Vaughn is she and she isn't a wolf. I loved Parker ever since he provided Randi with weapons to destroy his brother Blake the alpha. Parker is the spoiled entitled baby of the family but he's such a charmer you can't help but love him. Belle is running from herself though she believes it is from Daddy Tirigan.
I'm hoping for Warner's story next because I think there is so much to tell about him but I'll have to wait and see. I can say that if you like stories with a bit of everything then you'll find it here in this series.
The Woolvens are just fantastic. Every installment just gets better and better. Now the baby of the family gets his girl and she's even better than if he'd gotten the right one! One of the best things about this series is the blend of paranormals. Seriously, we have a little bit of everything, wolves, vampires, witches, goblins, fairies, you name it you've got it! All of these different species that are supposed to hate each other are able to come together, work together, live together and fight together to find a peace for them all. I love a story when the hero and the heroine don't know their own strength until they find it together. It's cliche but finding their perfect matches made them stronger, better than they were before and doesn't that sound like the perfect fairy tale?
Time for a puppy in the family to find his mate. Parker is the youngest one in the family. What was his surprise when he married normal women. But is she that normal wen he can sniff chocolate from her? Belle is on the run from vampires, but it will come even more interesting when she occurs to be daywalker! Add to it also ancient father and ancient conflicts! I really enjoyed it.
Really good book. Would give it more stars of I could. Great story crafting. Characters were fascinating. Bella and Parker, along with the rest of family made such a great read. Read the whole series, that way you don't miss any of the magic of Woolven.
Finally, Baby Woolven’s story and it did not disappoint. This story was funny, interesting and intriguing. Who would have thought that Baby Woolven could screw up and still make waring factions come together.
Belle Vaughn is not what I expected she was more.
In this story you will have vampires, wolves, bears, zombies and other nasty creatures come out. The story keep me reading until I finished it in one setting. The author has done a good job in weaving the tale of two souls lost. I don’t mean thins in the traditional sense but when you fight against becoming what your family wants as in Belle’s case and in Parker’s case he did not think he was important or strong enough to be an alpha like his brothers. He loves like and women so those are the strengths he plays up.
I believe readers will enjoy his story as much as the other books about his brothers.
I was given this book from the author and I have voluntarily read and reviewed it.
This was one very interesting read It had it all in this book definitely one that will grab your attention and keep it until the end of the book. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.
This is book 3 in the Woolven Secret series. This is Parker’s story= he is the baby brother and he is the one who can be himself, and not have to worry about being stern and responsible, he can just be himself- lighthearted and silly/fun. He is sent to Las Vegas to marry Maribella DeVaughn in his brother’s place. It was a political marriage that got resolved in the previous book but we didn’t get to see how everything was worked out—until now. This story definitely satisfied the what happened and OMG oh no he didn’t thoughts when reading this story. Because Parker meets Belle Vaughn and this is his love story—Parker really comes into his own and we see Belle fighting and evolving into a woman who fights for her man against her family in this story. Loved the twists and turns in this book and I can’t wait for more books in this series…for they are a delight!
My rating: 4.5 stars **** "I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***
A night of passion in Vegas ...a mistake or the best thing that could happen? Highly recommend you read and find out. So much more than I expected in a very good way. Enjoyed it.
A good paranormal romance with drama, action, intrigue, humor, passion and romance. 3rd in series About Parker and his new wife Bella and their marriage complications. Enjoyed reading.
We really didn't get to see to much of Cooper, but what we did see was a carefree, playboy, happy go lucky kinda guy! It seemed like while all the drama going on with Cooper's family he was having a good time......not quite the truth. There is definitely way more to Cooper then meets the eye. Under all that flirting and teasing is a great and sensitive guy who loves his family very much.
Parker is used to being the playboy of the family. His brothers are the Alpha and Beta, they have all the responsibility. He is willing to do his bit for family and resolves to have an arranged mating (think business merger) with another pack. But when he goes to Vegas he gets ...merry shall we say and waked up married to A Bella, just not the right one!
Bella has her own secrets to hide but marrying Parker is no hardship and he and his pack may just be her salvation.
I loved meeting the diabolical Tirigan and realising he may not be all bad. The village of supernaturals looked after by the Woolven family would be an awesome place to live! Parker had hidden depths and I loved that Bella finally accepted herself, her powers and er dark side and totally kicked a$$!
Parker Woolven can't lose. He likes his women sans bite and that's what he gets. A chocolatey delightful mix up while drunk in Vegas. Who would have though that Maribelle DeVaughn his intended would have a (similar) namesake waitress int he same town, Belle Vaughn? Belle isn't human, which is perfect for this particular Woolven. Belle is mixed up in her own troubles and Parker generously helps her out of it because his status and paparazzi got her found. Though this baby Woolven isn't Alpha nor Beta he is still formidable.
I love this series and seriously love that the author alluded to her other series The Drago Knights that I can't wait for the next book of. Now I need to go buy a Lush Shampoo bar because that was too sexy Ms. Saranna DeWylde!!
I do recommend that this series be read in order though the novella's (Princess of the Pack and others) don't need to be in order.
I cannot wait for War's story - he's my favorite Woolven so far.
Love this series! I was so excited to get to Playboy Parker's story. When you wake up with a hangover in Vegas, what's the first question you ask yourself? Yep, he was married, but to the wrong Belle! Parker soon finds out it was the right Belle for him. Do monsters get a happily ever after?
Really enjoyed reading this book. The whole series so far has been great. I love the romance and suspense. The action and the humour. This book will grab your attention from beginning to end and is a must read. I voluntarily read this advanced reader copy and these are my honest thoughts about this book.
My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read. I have fallen in love with the Woolvens. In this 3rd book, Parker thinks he is doing his duty to his family by settling down to his matched mate. In reality, he is bringing awareness to his new bride Belle from the people she is running from. In order to keep the pack and the Board of Woolven satisfied, they agree to keep the marriage going happily so no one suspects any differently. Once everything is brought to the open, a war occurs and both Parker and Belle's family need to get involved in order for the Woolven to succeed. This is a great ride and I didn't want it to end.
