How much can you hide before only the truth is left?

The highly anticipated Final book in the Sequel to the Chronicles of Kerrigan series, by international bestselling author, W.J. May.

THE FINAL CHAPTER!

The stage is set, the players are ready, and the battle is about to begin…

After years of fighting, Rae Kerrigan and her friends find themselves at the end of the line. Only one remaining person stands in the way of them getting everything they’d ever wanted. Peace, safety, the chance for a normal life. But in Rae’s case, that ‘normal life’ might include a little more than she bargained for…

Upon discovering she’s pregnant, Rae finds herself in the most dangerous game of cat and mouse yet. The stakes have never been higher, the risks have never been greater, and when the gang squares off against Samantha Neilson once and for all—some difficult choices will have to be made.

What will it mean to have a baby who’s not only a hybrid, but has three separate sets of ink? Should she tell Devon—knowing that the two of them are about to go into battle and risk losing it all? Can she keep it a secret, but marry him at the same time?

And as the day of judgement approaches…who can she really trust?

Wanita May grew up in the fruit belt of Ontario - St.Catharines. Crazy-happy childhood, she always has had a vivid imagination and loads of energy.

The youngest of six -- four older brothers, and a sister -- taught her at a young age to be competitive in all aspects of life.

At sixteen, she began competing in athletics (track and field) and before she turned seventeen, she was representing Canada in high jump. She continued to compete, breaking Canada's JR High Jump record (1.92m - 6' 3 1/2" for those metric-ly challenged). She attented University of Toronto, and Kansas State University - winning CIAU's and becoming All-American 6x - NCAA Indoors Runner Up + more.

But you're not interested in her athletic career - unless of course you're curious to know she stands 1.70m (5'7") and has jumped 20cm over her head on more than one occassion. She's represented Canada at the World Championships, World Jrs., won Francophone Games, and loved every minute of every competition. From the grueling workouts, the crazy weights she lifted on her back, the days she thought her lungs were going to spit out of her mouth for lack of oxygen, the travelling around the world and the opportunity to read - her favourite past time.

Life continued with her husband (a distance runner from Liverpool, UK, who she met at KSU) and then their first, then second and finally third child. Their house became full of more imagination and stories.

Wanita and her husband run an online business, dealing in antiques and collectables - particularly jewelry and porcelain (one of the business' website: www.wadeincanada.com ).

After her father passed away in 2009, from a six-year battle with cancer (which she still believes he won the fight against), she began to write again. A passion she'd loved for years, but realized life was too short to keep putting it off.

Her first book, Rae of Hope - from the Chronicles of Kerrigan - will be available October 2011 by kNight Romance Publishing.

She is currently represented by Dawn Dowdle of Blue Ridge Literary Agency. Wanita is a writer of Young Adult, Fantasy Fiction and where ever else her little muses take her.

That was really brave of Simon. He gave up his life so easily, even though they would never really know what happened and why. He loved them so much. So sad. Wow. And now they all have the life they wanted. So funny how Molly got a boy and Rae a girl. It would've been better for Molly to have gotten a girl, but then again, how would that have turned out lol.
What a weird and different way to ending it though. Not what I expected.

I've enjoyed this series very much (very light reading), but the final book was like she just wanted it over. There were some mistakes the editers should have caught. In one scene she closes the blinds and then goes on to say how the moonlight reflected off his face. There were many plot problems in this book. I know it's a fantasy story, but you still need to keep it plausible with the way the story line is developed.

Did not see that ending coming! What a surprise but a fantastic one anyways. Very sad to see it end but thrilled that we are going to get to read about Gabriel's story. That being said it might be nice to sometimes revisit the gang and see how they are from time to time. Seeing what is going to happen with the next generation would be awesome as well.

I have inhaled the entire Kerrigan world - 18 books in less than a week. Loved the storyline, the characters, and the plotting UNTIL the last few chapters of this book. I think I was wanting Simon to be redeemed without sacrifice - all the characters went through so much and became so much better human beings because of their suffering. I felt that the ending cheapened what they (and I as a reader) had felt, done, shared through 18 novels. I'm writing this as I am closing Precious Time. Maybe I will feel differently with a little distance. Overall, this was a wonderful series and I'm going to read Gabriel's story as soon as I can get it!

Twists galore!

Enjoyed this whole series, it kept me gripped! With a neverending supply of magical powers to turn to the characters still get caught up in revenge plots, in messy relationships and in fighting their own demons from the past. Just as you think something has been decided someone gets stabbed in the back sometimes quite literally! Thoroughly recommend for older teenagers +...!

Not a happy fan

I have been waiting for this book to come out too long for it to end like this. Definitely not what I had in mind for the "big showdown" at all. The whole pace of this one was off. I'm kind of happy about certain things but overall not satisfied. This should of been a $0.99.

I hate that this was the last book in the Kerrigan series, but what a book it was, up until the last few chapters that is. To say the ending was not what I was expecting is an understatement but it did not diminish the book it self. I would have liked a different ending, but am happy all the same.

I have loved this series and am sure that I will be reading them over and over.

I first read the Chronicles of Kerrigan series back in 2020, and rereading it this time... I LOVED this series! It kept me so entertained I barely went on social media for days. And the sequel? Amazing. W.J. May is insanely great. I'm now looking for books that are similar to this, would love to get some recommendations!

The last book was so disappointing.

The ending was awful. It's a shame. The other books was great, but the ending was done very poorly. There could of been a better way to write the ending

Great ending

This was the 24th book in the Kerrigan family that I have read and it’s one of my favorites, with a happily ever after, a twist that will leave you turning it over in your mind for days and a hint at more to come, this one is a real page turner!

Precious Time Review

The last of The Chronicles of Kerrigan Sequels. The ultimate battle with Samantha is about to take place. This story is a terrific ending to the sequels. Well-written, suspenseful story with a truly powerful and surprising ending.

What a shocker

Well after all that, Simon had that gift without knowing and stepped up right at the end.
It took away a lot of pain and solved a lot of problems.
This had the perfect ending.
I have thoroughly enjoyed blowing my way through this entire series.

Incredible

It’s about time that they all got their happily ever after. I wish it told more about Beth and Carter.

It has a lousy ending. Could've been better. It's not that bad, though. I've been reading this series for a while now. You should give it a try too.

Finale

Good ending to the series but was hoping for more battles. Good characters, good story, editing sucks and needs to have corrections done, good romances and good plots.
