GHOST TOWN: In Search of Lost Places

Rate this book
"GHOST TOWN" is a serious but offbeat journey to find ghost towns, fading places, ghosts of all kinds, and forgotten people. It will appeal to anyone interested in heritage tourism, Americana, small-town history and lore, and back roads and small-town life. The author begins his journey on the roads less traveled, finding more quirky and fascinating places that America has forgotten. Randy McNutt merges past and present, giving readers a strong sense of place. For him, old memories of lost places beckon like spectral hitchhikers. On the way, he sometimes meets a cast of determined people who struggle to keep their towns on the map. McNutt is the author of related books: "Ghosts," "Lost Ohio," and "Finding Utopia." He is a veteran freelance writer who has written for newspapers across America. His "GHOST TOWN 2" is also available from Kindle.

Short read History

This is just a short tease of what it could be. Maybe it was intended to be just that. I would have loved to hear about ghost towns in Texas. Maybe I didn't the whole download.
