Packed with delicious, cheap and nutritious midweek meal ideas to match your shopping habits, this might just be the book you’ve been searching for.

The author is a young mum with two children and is now staying at home with them and living on a reduced income. This book gives you information on menu planning and even gives you a quick one week meal plan, and goes into detail on the middle aisles in the discount shops as well! She's so good!! I like her recipes, they are no nonsense ones, with sections on the old favourites such as soups and snacks, sides and salads, fish, veggie, chicken, beef and pork and sweet treats.
There were a lot of recipes I marked out with my little sticky stickers to try, and I was very happy to find a recipe for cheesy herb bread and even one for cheese and potato and onion rostis, I know what I'm cooking first then!
I bought this as a used copy from my favourite bookseller World of Books, and no I'm not on commission (I wish!!), and they send them postage free in just a few days (definitely think I should get commission!). I can already see that this book will be a well used one. Right now tomorrow is cheese bread......
The book is a winner it is good value for money the recipes are easy to follow and very delicious so far I have made the breaded chicken and the chicken leek and cheese patties and the 15 minutes crumble
