As with all the Cathy Bramley books I have read so far, this was a lovely cosy read based around the life of a Farmer's wife looking for something of her own to achieve and be proud of.

I really warmed to Hetty and was willing her to succeed in her dreams. There are, of course, a few challenges along the way!

It might be unfair to say this is an easy read, but it certainly has a lovely comfortable feel about it. Unusually, the twists keep you guessing what is going to happen next.
