A guide to about 140 of Scotland’s castles and crenellated mansions.

Covering as far north as Shetland, out as far west as the Outer Hebrides, to the East and Aberdeenshire, Central Scotland and down to the Scottish borders.

Colour pictures of each location is provided along with a brief description of castle layout, notable figures associated with the castle and any relevant part it played in Scottish history.

A great pocket book to have should you have an interest in Scottish history. Gives a quick overview of the castle’s history and provides ideas for castles to visit next.

Great wee book. Fun read and lovely accompanying pictures.

This is a lovely guide to Scotland's castles and gives a brief history of each one. Very handy for anyone travelling in Scotland or anyone who is interested in it's history.

This is amazing book with information about all 140 of Scotland's castle. Each entry is accompanied by a gorgeous colour picture of the castle and a wealth of information as to its historical providence, architectural history and uses up until the modern day if applicable. A must for castle fans or those planning on visiting these magnificent wonders of Scotland.
