Bestselling Author Sabrina Sims McAfee brings you another steamy romance filled with twists and turns and edge of your seat suspense.

Love and War brings them together. But with evil lurking in the dark shadows will they stay together?

Dr. Sean LeBlanc past experiences taught him that being in serious relationships is not for him. His only interest right now is providing medical care for the underserved people in the Democratic Republic of Congo—Africa. However, when his new roommate arrives—Dr. Santana Kingsley—he’s shocked to learn it’s a woman—a strikingly beautiful woman at that. From the moment he lays eyes on her sparks fly and everything he thought he never wanted is now right in front of him.

Santana’s horrible past leads her to Africa where she plans to escape and drown herself in work. When she arrives and meet her boss, she never expects him to be her roommate and a gorgeous hunk. Though she’s instantly attracted to him, she’s sure he would never cross the line.

As Sean and Santana work day in and day out together, their professional relationships turns into a steamy romance.

Then suddenly, a war erupts and the unthinkable happens—Santana goes missing.

Now Sean is determined to get back the only woman he’s ever loved—his sweet Santana.

Action Packed

After the loss of her son and her divorce, Santana decided to use her skills as a doctor in Africa. Sean was expecting a male doctor to work in his clinic. Imagine his surprise when beautiful and strong willed Santana arrived. For the both of them it was near love at first sight. The only real problem is the continual unrest in the region. Will they survive to make love a reality? Great story by the prolific Sabrina Sims McAfee!

Good story but...

The story was great but the love scenes were just so corny and juvenile! I know people talk during the throes of passion but really! Some of the dialogue just took from the love scenes.

Sean and Santana

I love to read about strong women but sometimes they don't make the best choices which is what Santana did. She was strong but her decisions put many people's lives in danger. This story was ok.

Feeling love at first sight, Sean was not going to let his woman, Santana stay a captive of rebel forces. He risked his life to save her because he wanted her that much. Good read.

Stubborn mule

This was my first read by this author. I was engaged throughout. Santana was a stubborn spitfire. Sean was used to being in control. As doctors they both genuinely wanted to help the people of Congo. Santana and Sean were hot together. The sex between them 🙈🙉🙊😍 This book was a good read I just wish it was a little longer to give more plot and character development.

This was a nice and entertaining way to spend the day.I love that ,this was a story that didn't slow from the word go.All the elements are working to give you a well rounded story,my only problem is that I am not a big fan of instant love.I fully enjoyed this journey to the Congo.
