Food, chocolate, ice cream and beer all play a part in this sizzling series that always takes me on an entertaining adventure. Moira receives a phone call from her daughter, Candace that her car has been stolen. Working with the police and David, her private eye husband, Moira thinks it is just another stolen car case. Then the car shows up in a hit and run death and Candace is a prime suspect. When Candace's fiance's ex-girlfriend shows back up in town and starts stalking Candace, things worsen. Who stole the car and killed an innocent man? Awesome characters who are like family, twisted murder plots and delectable food make this a must read series.

This is a kindle e-book from my Kindle Unlimited account book 20 in the series.

Moira Darling, her daughter Candice, and girlfriends have finished painting the deli on a Sunday afternoon. She takes leftover pizza 🍕 to David and his sister at the brewery. Candice's friend Caroline is visiting. That night 🌙 someone steals Candice's car 🚗 and kills a young man 🚹. It was not Candice in the car 🚗. But who? Candice and her boyfriend buy the farm 🚜 the brewery is on. It is there that the truth comes out leading to the arrest of the killer.

A fast paced cozy mystery. Moira's daughter Candice has her car stolen and it is involved in a hit and run that kills a man. The driver appears to look like Candice. Could she have does this? Read the story to find out. Filled with twists and turns and a surprise ending. I loved every minute of the story.

This is yet another wonderful book in this series by author Patti Benning. Easter is just around the corner and Moira and David volunteer to help out at the Easter egg hunt the library is hosting. Moira gets an upsetting phone call from her daughter, Candice, letting her know her car has been stolen. Candice's friend from high school comes for a visit and her fiance's ex-girlfriend is also in town. On top of this, another body is found. Don't ever ask what else can happen as this is just the tip of the iceberg. I went back and forth as to who I thought the murderer was and didn't really know until the end. This is an amazing book!

I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

Interesting

This was an interesting storyline. I do not agree with some of the wayward events but I did guess who was guilty.

Good

This book is not quite as intense as some others by this author, but it does have some unique twists that keep the reader guessing.

Easter is a time for family

When Candice invites an old friend to visit for a week Moira is concerned but reluctant to ruin their fun. Until someone ends up dead and Eli's ex attempts to ruin everything it definitely makes for a crazy holiday.

A good continuing series

I enjoyed this book as a quick read. I had read the series quite a while ago so I could not remember the characters and how they got together. A quick synopsis on past events here or there would have made it easier to follow. I will continue to read each book that comes out in this series.

Patti has, again, written another great book. Glazed Ham Murder takes place during the Easter weekend. David and Moira enjoy volunteering at the Easter egg hunt. Candace's car is stolen and involved in a hit and run, resulting in a fatality. Candace's friend is in for the weekend. David is trying to sort thru all the circumstances around the hit and run, Plus Eli and Candace give David and Moria a huge surprise.
Good reading, short, but good.

I am so glad Moors is back!

I was lucky enough to have been given an ARC in return for an honest review. I have been a fan of this series since the very beginning and this book really helps you to realize just how far it has come. It seems so long ago since the start but isn't really but so much has happened for Moors, Candice and David. The regular characters are always wonderful but the new character in this book was just scary and a good reminder that things are not always what they seem to be. After getting past the murder and shocking parts of the story, it's also one of the best as far as the direction the story is moving in, and I am so excited for new books that will follow in the series. The story is well written and characters are well developed. The dialog and events flow seamlessly and naturally. Just plain and simple, It's a good book.

Very Enjoyable!

In this installment of the Darling Deli series, we get to meet an old friend of Candice's and an ex of Eli's. I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and learning more about Candice and Eli's relationship. It's also heartening to see how good a relationship they have with Moira. Wish i could give it 50 stars!!

One of Candice’s childhood friends has come to visit and Moira is pleasantly surprised at the change in the young woman. When Candice and Caroline were in high school Moira had to put an end to their friendship because Candice was being led in the wrong direction. Now, Caroline is a polite and intelligent person.
It isn’t long before the calm is broken. Candice calls her mother when her car has been stolen overnight. Video from nearby surveillance cameras show the car being driven away and it appears that Candice herself is driving the car. Unfortunately the video also shows something much more frightening. Candice’s car was used in a hit and run of a pedestrian. With Easter on the horizon, Moira needs to prove that Candice did not commit this horrible act.

The latest edition to the Darling Deli Series delivers. The action is intense and filled with red herrings. New characters prove to be very interesting. I look forward to the next book. With Candice’s wedding ahead things could be very interesting.

The Best Friends Are Old Friends, or Are They?

This installment in the Darling Deli series is the best yet. Candice and Eli have a big surprise in the wings but right now Candice's best friend is visiting and Eli is dealing with his obsessive ex-girlfriend. When Candice's car is stolen and is used in a hit and run David and Moira get involved to prove Candice's innocence.

This was a fast paced cozy keeping me guessing until almost the last page! Patti Benning has done it again!

I can't say enough great things about this series. I have loved each and everyone. The characters are fun, exciting, and become like family.
This book is another amazing adventure with Moira and her handsome husband as well as Candice her daughter and the rest of the deli crew. Things go sideways when Candice's car gets stolen and a man is found dead, possibly by her hand??? Old friendships and old flames get swept up in this mystery. Will they be able to solve this mystery before someone else gets hurt?
I recieved a copy of this book from the publisher for an honest review.

Old friends and ex-girlfriends

This is a quick fun read. Candice has an old friend come to visit and her car is stolen from the bar they were at. They then discover the car has been used in a hit and run that results in a fatality. Is Candice guilty? Moira and David are quickly on the case. Throw in Eli's ex-girlfriend and you have quite the book! I received a copy of this book from the publisher and am voluntarily providing a review.

Moira gets a frantic call from Candice that her car has been stolen from a local bar after her and an old friend had been out and she left it there instead of driving home. The police find footage that her car was used in a hit and run and the driver looks like Candice. With David's expert detecting skills he proves it couldn't of been Candice but who? Moira is determined to find out who is trying to frame Candice.

Childhood friend, jealous ex, WOW!!!!!!

This is 10 stars!!!!!
This mess was aimed at Candice and Eli. People from their past.
Moria and David are getting things back to normal from their damages they had to fix, at the same time getting ready for Candice and Eli's marriage coming up soon.
There had been a stolen car, murder, vandalism, and framing someone else for it all.
You will love this book. I can't wait for the next book.

Enjoy reading about old friends

Once again Moira and her family face trouble together and solve the problem . This time her daughter was the suspect in a hit and run accident . At the same time the farm where David's brewery is located is up for sale . The solutions are found .

This is one series I enjoy reading as the characters have become friends and I enjoy reading about their adventures .
