Just read the French translation of this 2002 biography of Suzanne Lenglen by the Italian journalist and writer Gioanni Clerici. It's interesting that nothing has been written about her, except in Italian or in English. She was one of the main celebrities of the Roaring Twenties, famous in Great Britain and in the US, a bigger than life personality, who put the women's tennis on the map, and invented the sport star system. This biography is not very original...
