Cold Case: FBI - The Salem Witch

Rate this book
Justice is for the Living...and for the Dead.

In the small New England town of Hadley, Massachusetts, a mother and daughter have gone missing, and all signs point to the mother’s abusive, alcoholic boyfriend as the culprit. After a weeks-long, active investigation, however, local and state police come up empty and the boyfriend walks away, a free man.

Ten years pass by, and FBI Assistant Director Marvin Ledds happens to be passing through the area when he reads a local newspaper story about the tenth anniversary of the women’s disappearance. Their fates left unknown, the assistant director decides that he has just the man—and just the right woman—to look into this heartbreaking mystery.

I am an online marketer and once-upon-a-time artist. I have two fiction series that I'm currently working on:

- Stellar Conflict (Tales of crew and soldiers aboard a warship at the end of a long interstellar war); Five books self-published in the series so far.
- Cold Case: FBI (Three FBI agents investigating cold cases. One of them is a witch.); Actually a planned trilogy. The first book, The Good Witch, is being pitched; Second book, the Curse of the Bayous, is nearing completion.

A Good, Quick-Read Mystery

I needed a break from a heavy read, so this time instead of a cozy, I chose this book. Hmmm, FBI agents and a witch from Salem, Massachusetts? Should be a different type of mystery. It’s a cold case procedural with FBI agents, including the witch who subtly uses her powers/craft. If you’re looking for a lot of paranormal, this probably isn’t the book for you.

Interesting read....

I could not put it down once I started reading...finished it in a few hours. This is a cop mystery with a twist. Three FBI agents and one is a witch 😊. Written in different points of view but very easy to follow. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to the next one.
I loved the fuzzy ending....there really is good.

What little mystery there was is destroyed at 37 percent, so I quit. It's not well enough written to enjoy. It also switches POV so much that it's hard to follow when migrained.
