Decent examples and solutions, but a lot of the content or formulas in this book are not in the NCEES handbook, which is not on the test.
I didn’t read through the whole book, there’s way too much information you won’t need. I did go through all of the example problems and solutions and that helped.
Four stars because it’s a helpful review book. -2 stars because goodreads is for fun reads and this one wasn’t very fun. So based on math that makes 2 stars
“Whether or not the exam is hard or tricky depends on who you talk to.” - HA I can’t believe I read this whole book. Did I retain a lot of the information? No. Very thorough, though I feel like the environmental section was lacking in BOD problems. Also, this is a little bit outdated because the section on computational tools is no longer on the exam. I also found several errors. Personally, I feel like doing review videos was more helpful in preparing for the FE, but this book is a good reference to have, especially for topics I've never been exposed to. And I found that it’s fun and stuff when you’re learning it in class, but having to review it all a few years later is something else.
