I can't believe it.
Where are strong heroines and totally smitten heroes?
I loved LK's books mostly because he didn't write clichés.
Unfortunately he does now.
It's my personal preference, but I don't like to read a smut where the hero demands, the heroine begs and performs BJs.
The most unpleasant bj-scene I read lately. I didn't expect from an uncertain male character to dominate: "Get on your knees. Beg for it." Meh.
The hero was afraid to confess his feelings to h's father, but demanded she begged for his c*ck...
Not my spank bank material.
I can't believe it.

Overall a good read.
The story of Cedric, father of Tobi a three year old cutie and Dalia, his boss Ted's daughter and his nanny.
Insta attraction between the two which culminates into hot sex. Feelings are addressed and the book feels complete, even though it's a short story.

What's in a Name? Apparently a Lot!🍌🔥
👍 the author, 👍the book, hate👎 the name CEDRIC. That name just about spoiled the whole thing for me. Why Luke? why! Why! WHY?!💋💋
It's a cute book as far as a sizzling single executive dad and a 🔥hot sexy young nanny💋👙 goes.

Cedric that father of Tobi has got to be the cutest dad in the history of dads he knows it all and then Dahalia enters the picture and he doesn't know anything but when he does now is that he has the love that is so strong that he's not willing to give it up.

It was such a pleasure to read a book written mainly from a male point of view. Finally! All the chapters were written from Cedric’s POV, except most of the epilogue which was from Dalia’s POV. It was nice to be inside the hero’s head almost the entire time.
Cedric and Dalia had such a chemistry together. I’m surprised they haven’t set the house on fire. 🔥
Cedric’s daughter Tobi was a three year old, and she was such a little wonder. I loved how she managed to lock Cedric out of his own office and didn’t want to unlock it for him. Little prankster! She was such a happy child! It was wonderful to read about her, and how she loved her new nanny Dalia on sight, just like Cedric did. Though, in his case it was probably more a lust at first sight which then turned into love.
Well, Cedric, Cedric! How did you manage to fall for your new nanny, who was ten years younger then you and on top of that your business partner’s youngest daughter? Probably because she looked like a princess, just like Tobi said.

A single dad makes you wonder what happened and how put together he is. Do you want to date a guy who is left to raise his daughter on his own? After meeting Cedric he is a partner in his own firm, is a loving father and has all the sexiness of a complete stranger. When your partners daughter becomes your nanny and all you can think about is getting to know her sexually you are in trouble. Focusing on your daughters well being and not having a mother or female figure to play a key role, you have to be picky and once he lays eyes on Dalia it's all over. How can he tell his partner of such feelings and continue to good relationship and keep a hopeful relationship that has not only captured his heart but that of his three year old daughter. I love Luke's books, they are short, light, sexy and fun.

Excellent book! First book by Luke Steel that I've read and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Ted is at his wits end. Cedric, his business partner is constantly distracted due to his 3 year old daughter, Tobi, being at the office all the time. Cedric's nanny retired and so far he hasn't found a replacement. Ted decides to help and arranges for a new nanny for Tobi. Cedric is on fire with lust the minute he sees Dalia and thinking of all kinds of dirty things he wants to do to her...BUT, then he learns that Dalia is Ted's daughter. What?! The?! Heck?!
Mr. Happy isn't quite so happy anymore. Will Cedric be able to control his animal lust for Dalia? Does Dalia want him to? What would Ted say if they gave into their desires?

I enjoyed this book immensely. I love how Luke Steel has written the interaction between Cedric and Dalia, it's passionate and sexy.

This was a fantastic book! Dang.... This was my first book by LS and DEFINITELY will not be my last. I don't really like novella's but I've been in a book slump lately, waiting patiently (HA!) for my favorite authors next release. I stumbled across this little gem and enjoyed the ride (wink). Now I can't wait to delve into as many of Luke's books as I can find.
This book sooooo good.

I like a little romance, in my romance
I kept reading, thinking we would get past the continual, ongoing sex, and find some romance, at some point. Spoiler alert, we didn’t.
Or at least we didn’t before I reached my saturation point of unending sex, and deleted it from my kindle.
If you are looking for fairly hard-core sex, and little else, this may be just what you are looking for.
If you wanted romance, you may want to keep looking. For me, this was a hard ‘no’.

So i didn't much like the book even though the plot line is fun .. but dalia was soo two dimensional o felt she was like a mannequin instead of a living character even with the epilogue I didn't quite get what she really is about .., and cedric for some reason came off as over bearing ... I don't know i am not a big fan of this book

This was a great read. It was fast paced, but light and fun. Dalia is hired as the nanny for Cedric, who is a single father and needs a little help with his daughter. They fall for each other fast, but she's the daughter of his business partner and neither of them know how he'll respond. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

First off, I received an ARC but it in no way sways my review..that being said..
This book is a one sitting read. It's short and to the point and it is hot! I'm not one for early twenties heroines and in fact, rarely read them. I overlooked that in this case because I really like this authors work.
This book is a little more detailed than the last 2, more like Hungry Boss and Hard Boss and I like that. The H is strong but not domineering and the h is not stupid nor a doormat. Everything is handled very nicely. I enjoyed this quick read. I will purchase my own copy, as I usually do, so that my review will not be assumed as bought..

Since their most recent nanny retired, Cedric is in need of a childcare for his daughter, Tobi. He runs a very successful business with his partner Ted, however bringing Tobi to work with him is becoming more and more stressful. Ted notices Cedric's distraction, but nobody and nothing matters more than his beautiful daughter. Queue the swooning ladies...Cedric is hot, successful and dotes on his sweet little girl.
Ted takes it upon himself to hire Cedric a nanny for Tobi so he can concentrate on work. In walks Dalia, a woman that knocks the socks off Cedric with just one look. Wouldn't you know it, Dalia is the new nanny that Ted hired and she's his youngest daughter.
Despite that, the two can't stop the pull between them. This single Dad story is the perfect amount of insta-love, lust and desire. Their obvious attraction to one another wins out, despite the relationship of Cedric's nanny to his business partner. It's a sweet and sexy love story.
So far, this is my favorite read from Luke Steel. There is more detail in this story than his other novellas. I feel like each time I read one, the storytelling and composition flows more fluently. Thanks for the quick, fun read! What's next Luke?!?

Very good read. A short, straight forward love story with the HEA. It was a simple fast read that is great for a quick change from the long romance novels. Good work Mr. Steel. You had me from page 1 and every page there after.

A Cliché That’s Not A Cliché
Full disclosure, I read an ARC in exchange for my honest opinion. With that being said…
“Single Dad Boss” was unbelievably refreshing. It’s a younger woman, older man, yes. It’s a single dad, nanny, yes. Said nanny is “the daughter of,” yes. Even though those parts are clichés, the sum of those parts isn’t.
I really loved reading Cedric’s POV throughout, especially concerning his daughter. Tobi is so adorable, and is an example of the phrase, “Out of the mouths of babes.” Still not a cliché.
Steel manages to take all those pieces apart, and put them back together to form a whole new puzzle.
On a personal note, I have advanced Multiple Sclerosis, and the disease, and the drugs I take for it, make me drowsy. However, I was able to finish the whole thing without falling asleep once. Which is kind of a big deal. Even bigger, since I was able to write this review immediately afterward as well, something that actually takes work for me.

I was able to read this as an ARC and I absolutely loved it. The alpha was just enough to not be a complete jerk and the nanny was just too sweet to his little girl to be denied. It had just enough of everything to make for a short one sitting read but it did not feel rushed to me. I have enjoyed the other boss books by Luke and I hope there will be more to come.
