Neha Jaiswal is beautiful and intelligent—an alluring combination—but chooses to be a recluse. What works for her is her intimidating personality that comes with her success. With no desire to get into a relationship, the strong, assertive, and hardworking Neha manages to keep the men at bay—all except one.

Here is a passionate romantic who loves literatureand has created many happy ending in her imagination, for every movie or book with a sad conclusion.
She soon began to create her own characters and situations, creating plenty of romances and happy endings to satisfy her imagination. "But for my laziness and diffidence," says Reshma "I would have penned umpteen stories of unexpected pairs meeting and falling in love, overcoming troubles and hurdles to unite for a lifetime."
A voracious reader, Reader, Reshma is a poet as well, and feels that she would be blessed as a writer if she could bring a happy content sigh on the readers lips.
My first book by the author and I had difficulty in putting it down. I was very impressed by the plot of the story and its main characters and Reshma Ranjan has just turned herself into one of my auto buy authors. A must read
Reshma Ranjan’s second book is a romance (my favourite genre) between the blind Neha and Sumit who has a British father. It’s well written with an interesting storyline and great chemistry between the protagonists. A must read if you like romances.
It's a very simple and unique story. Some of the scenes come across with a lot of pathos while in some scenes, the sweetness and love are heart touching.
Blind, Certainly is Love is primarily a story about Neha and Sumit. Their attraction, their misunderstanding and then their union for a happily ever after thus making it a cozy read.
I must say I was intrigued right from the start when I saw the title. The author has come up with a poignant tale and a unique storyline, which does justice to the expectations.
Neha is a strong woman who has a terrible accident and meets Sumit under unusual circumstances. Fighting their inner psychological battles, they are instantly attracted to each other. Both the protagonists specially Neha invokes deep empathy. The chemistry between the two becomes more intense in the second half, so much so that it sizzles on the pages.
The supporting characters add to the spice and are well etched. A recommended read for all romance lovers.
This is the second book I read by the author and I totally enjoyed reading the story of Sumit and Neha. I would be giving out spoilers if I said anything more...it is a sweet and light read and I liked the way the emotions weave into the story.
An emotionally stirring novel which brings out the aching of a love lorn heart with words. I liked the book and though it being Reshma Ranjan's second book, the emotional turmoil it brings in you shows the author's mastery with words. Emotional turmoil and anguish. The book is filled with that heart wrenching feeling all the time. The words so perfectly make your own heart ache as the story flows.
After a long time, I read a big, fat novel albeit a Kindle version. The story is so big. The characters are few. The description of places is superb but you dont know the exact location. Everything is fictional yet life like.
The language is good. Characters are few and well fleshed out. The twist in the last chapters was surprising. The research about a blind person's habits, feelings, ways to cope & how other senses get sharper is well done. Read my full review on my blog. Book Review: Blind, Certainly is Love by Reshma Ranjan
Just the other day, a few friends were talking about why we read and review books. I review books because I love reading and I generally pick up a book hoping to enjoy it. Unfortunately, “Blind, Certainly is Love”, is not a book I enjoyed reading. To me, someone who causes you do much pain that you have a nervous breakdown, is not worth loving. Abuse in any form, physical or emotional is still abuse and when it is intentional, it is even worse. I cannot fathom, how the heroine still loves the hero after all that he puts her through, but, as the title says, “Blind, certainly is love.”
All say ‘Love is Blind’. But I always wonder why? Does the person who falls in love lose his/her sight? (Just joking). Love is not a person, it is an emotion.
But yes, when one falls in love; one is oblivious of everything except the person whom he/she loves. So I think the proverb should be ‘Love makes one blind’… (Joking)
The story obviously is a love story, which starts off with the protagonist bumping into each other. As they say, anger/hate is the first step to love, the same concept is applied by author Reshma Ranjan in this story.
Neha and Sumit, they meet and they hate each other. Their hate gives way to full-fledged romance. But when you think the story will end with “And they lived happily ever after” comes the twist. And what is that? Do grab the book and read.
What I liked is, I got instantly hooked from page one. It’s a fast and intense love story (with several hot scenes) between the protagonists. It’s a mix between erotica and Mills and Boons. The story is definitely addictive as you want to know why and what happened to the protagonists.
I liked the way Reshma has weaved the plot and not letting the reader get a clear picture at once by going in time leap and then going to flashback and then again coming back to present.
What I didn’t like is after such a fast and intense, full of ups and downs throughout the whole story, the sudden and simple end didn’t go well with me. I had expected some more fireworks at the end.
Other than that Blind, Certainly is Love is full on a romantic story with fireworks and which one can finish reading in one sitting, as you won’t get up until you finish reading it.
First book I read by this author certainly very interesting and intriguing story. The plot, writing style every thing was great 👍 will definitely be reading more of her books.
